Morning EMH at MK Strategy question/suggestions

Going in July. Have done WDW in the summer multiple times so we know the drill pretty well. However, first time staying on property for a night and first experience with emh. Usual FP+ plan is about the same whenever we do MK on a regular park day- start in adventure land and frontier at RD, and work clockwise, hitting Peter pan, SDMT, and Buzz with fast passes in geographical order along the way. So realizing things will be different with only the right side of the park open for the emh, I'm trying to come up with the best plan of attack to make the most out of that hour. Rough plan is to knock out as much of fantasy land as possible then head to adventure/frontier at 9 to hit those rides when the regular gates open. Then head back for our SDMT fast pass around noon.

My main strategy question is what to do first, PP or Buzz. We have little kids, so we usually skip space mountain. If there right when the emh gates open, is it worth it to head straight for Peter pan (as in does that ride still build a line pretty quickly during the emh) and use that FP for something else or am I better off starting with Buzz and working counter clockwise and FP Peter Pan later in the day.

Thanks in advance for any tips/suggestions!

On what I would consider an average crowd day in MK I have seen PP go from walk on right after RD to 30 minutes as soon as we rode and exited, so yes PP or 7DMR need to be either #1 or FP if you aim is avoid time in FL crowds during EMH or RD at regular opening.

Yeah, that's why I already decided to FP SDMT later in the day because it's the clear #1. To me, waiting in what would considered a fairly short line during regular park hours (like 15 minutes for mine train) is kind of a waste during the emh. I say the more walk on rides the better. But if you can walk on peter pan at rope drop, I think it's a good place to start, and gives you an extra FP for when the crowds start to build.

Yeah, its not a close call. Pan's wait will be far longer, far faster than Buzz. Even v. Space that's true. (You should do Pan before Space, and Space before Buzz, if you are doing all 3 standby.)

Oh yeah, I get that they aren't close. I guess I was thinking more in terms of how to efficiently hit the following and make it to adventure land right at 9:
Buzz
Peter Pan
Speedway
Pooh
Barn stormer
Haunted Mansion

If there's time, small world and Mermaid, but those attractions always have a point in the day when the line dies down so I'm not too worried about hitting them during emh.

I guess what maybe I should do is schedule PP as my 3rd FP, and if we manage to get to the cue without much of a wait, then I can swap out for something else, or ride it again if the kids want.

I mean, everybody flocks to PP and SDMT, so I would figure if you're looking to cover a lot of ground ride-wise and minimize the walking on the kids little legs, you fast pass those two, and start at Buzz and work counter clockwise. The potential to walk on PP without a FP is tempting though...

We were at emh the first week in April, so pretty crowded, and Buzz was a walk on for most if not all of that hour. I would go, Peter Pan, Pooh, Speedway, Buzz, Barnstormer, Haunted Mansion. Take the path behind space mountain and you will be right at Barnstormer.

Awesome, thanks!
