Morning DTD bus

Planning to hit DTD after AK closes on a Sunday.
What do you think about parking at DTD in the morning and hopping a bus over to AK, that way we can bus back at night and not deal with park-exit traffic.

It also saves the parking fee, and my DS loves riding the bus. (Last trip was on site, this is just a day trip.)

It's not a particularly good plan. There's not direct transportation between parks and DTD. You would have to transfer both ways, which would add considerable time and would prevent you from getting to AK before 10:00 or so. Also, parking at DTD and then going somewhere else is very much frowned upon - it takes parking spaces from people who have legitimate business there.

OTOH, parking at AK and bussing to DTD wouldn't be so great, either. To get back to your car after AK was closed, you'd have to:

1. Get to a resort, by bus, boat, or walking, and then
2. Bus to an open theme park, and finally
3. Bus to AK.

You may just have to bite the bullet and deal with the weekend evening traffic at DTD. At least it's not a Friday or Saturday night. I think almost all of the Orange garage is open now; I don't know if it fills up on Sunday nights.

Yeah that sounds like a pain both ways. Maybe AK parking isn't as aggravating as MK or Universal. I hope.
