Morning Crowds in Evening Extra Magic Park?

I am trying to create a tentative park schedule primarily for the sake of figuring our dining reservations...

When a park has extra magic hours in the evening how does that influence the park's morning crowd? Larger than normal or I am hoping maybe smaller than normal crowds, with people saving the park for later in the afternoon.

Do I stay away in the morning when a park had extra magic in the evening?

While I am at in, conversely, does an extra magic morning swell crowds in that park for the evening hours?

Actually, I didn't see a difference. I do know that when you have an extra magic in the morning the park usually is a bit more crowded during the day, but haven't seen much of a difference if it has one at night. I like the morining hours. I know that isn't your question, but when you have the extended hours..they are very very crowded (at least every time I have done them they were). Yet, if you do the extra morning, they are not as bad. Lines are way shorter in that one hour in the morning, than they are in the 3 at night. The last hour of the night extended hours aren't too bad, but the frist one is terrible. Just my 2 cents ;)

During Christmas, when the park are open to 12:00, do they still have evening extended hours? If they do, are they still 3 extra hours?

The most accurate way I can answer these is, "SOMETIMES, but not in ALL cases."

Depends on the time of year, the day of the week, and the general makeup and "mood" of the crowds.

How would anyone "know" what a diverse, ever-changing crowd, from around the world, WILL or WON'T do on any given date (other than a HOLIDAY, of course.)
I've read many posts where the PM EMH was stunningly overflowing at one park and not another.
Other posts (at different times) that say the opposite.

So, you can make your plans any way you'd like.
You might guess right, and you might guess wrong.

But regardless, stay FLEXIBLE.
Use HOPPER tickets.
Arrive EARLY (that will be the most RELIABLE way to do more in any park on any day).
Then, if the park you are in DOES fill up later in the day, you can hop to "Plan B" if you need to.

QUOTE]

We did this on our last trip last summer when we traveled from the end of June through July 4th. We went to opening at parks that had evening EMH. We found the crowds at opening for this very busy time of the year to be quite manageable, but I do not know if I would say smaller than normal...just not larger than normal.

Yes they do.

Do people really stay there until 3:00 in the morning? Maybe we should get there at closing, walk straight on to everything and just plan to sleep all day the next day.
