My DH does all the yardwork. Very few people around her have people that do their lawn work for them. We haven't had any rain all summer so we haven't had to cut the grass in over a month, but it looks horrible (so does everyone else's though).
One neighbor was painting his house today. It is 110° out! I think the paint can even states not to paint in temps over 85°. My BIL did seal-coat his driveway which is supposed to be done in the hottest temps possible, yuck!
