Morelli or Ranger?

I started reading the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich about a month ago, and I am hooked! I heard about it here, so I know lots of people on the DIS read this series. I just finished the 12th book, so with the exception of the between the numbers book, I am all caught up! So who would you like to see Stephanie end up with? Ranger, Morelli, or neither? I am a Ranger fan. Is it possible to have a crush on a character in a book? If it is, I think I am crushing. Morelli is great, but Ranger has that bad boy turned good, but still bad in some ways quality that I love! "Babe" gets me every time!

So what do you think?

I used to always pick the bad guys (married now) so I'd have to say Ranger.

Then again, picking bad guys always lead to getting my heartbroken so, Morelli.

Then again .... Ranger has a really cool apartment, a woman that cooks and cleans, bunches of high tech stuff, so Ranger.

But then Morelli has a home, job security, family, so Morelli.

You know, I'll have to think on this some more.

I haven't read all of the books yet, but in the last one I read (number 6?) Morelli wanted to get married, and Ranger (at least so far) does not sound like marriage material. But BOY, does he sound hot!

I see I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that the question was "Who would you choose for the long run?" I think Ranger would be a hot fling, but Morelli would be in it for the long haul.

Besides, Ranger would scare the crap outta me with his ability to get past locked doors and other security measures.

Morelli is marriage material but he's also got that grandma who'll put "the eye" on you.

And Ranger ... think of all the adventures and really, down deep, he's a nice guy. Maybe he's just misunderstood.

"Plum Lovin" is already out. VERY similiar (hint-hint) to her Xmas in-between the numbers book.

I checked out Janet Evanovich's website, and it said something about a compilation of short stories that had a Stephanie Plum in it. Anyone read that one? Is it worth buying?

I've read a couple of Evanovich romance novels. One was just so-so (not a Stephanie Plum story), and the other was a Stephanie Plum Christmas story, very funny as usual.

come on now, we all know they both serve two entirely different purposes. If you want to cuddle on the couch and watch the game, Morelli's your man if you want to cuddle on the couch and NOT watch the game, Ranger's your man
