I believe that BTTF has become a movie classic. You can't turn on TNT, TBS, Bravo, HDMovies etc, without one of the trilogy being on.

While that doesn't mean the ride must stick around, if I had my choice, I'd replace the antiquated ET with something new. When is the last time you saw ET on TV?

What are your thoughts?

You're kidding, right? Just because you don't see E.T. on television all the time doesn't mean it's not a classic. It's one of the top grossing films of all time. I also believe that while it desperately needs an update, E.T. Adventure is a superior attraction to BTTF, which is not only an outdated concept but extremely rough as well.

E.T. as a movie and an attraction is more timeless...BTTF has a few things going against it, one of them being BTTF 2 being set in 2015 which is quickly approaching and is nothing like the movie

ET is not on TV because it is so timeless. It wont cheapen itself by selling out to TNT or TBS. The ride is still pretty state of the art, just for the queue alone. Its AMAZING. BTTF, while its sad to see an original attraction go, does need to be replaced. ET, a rehab? Yeah, I guess.

ET, ET, ET:yay:

Oh, I love ET and the ride. It is a must do for every day at the parks. I refuse to even ride BTTF anymore. The kids rode it once on our last trip and we were there for 7 days. They love the movies but said that once was certainly enough.
