More ticket questions...AP and DDE

Can you buy APs and/or DDE at the resorts upon check-in (GF) ? Or, do we need to buy them ahead of time? Are they cheaper if you buy them in advance? And if you do buy them in advance, does the year clock start ticking at purchase, or first use?

This is our first time buying APs as we don't normally make more than one trip in a calendar year. Our 1st trip of the year is coming up in 3 weeks or so, and I am worried if I order them in advance, they won't arrive in time. I am also a little paranoid that something is going to happen to derail the trip (walking VERY carefully over the ice and snow these days so as not to break any limbs) so would take away one concern if we could buy them on arrival.

Yes you can. You will have to pick up Temp card for DDE. If You don't go more then 10 days a year the AP will be costly.

Thanks so much. Not counting arrival and departure days, we will be in the World for 4 days in Feb. and 6 days in Nov. I priced out the MYW 10 day non-expiring park hopper with no water parks, and factoring in the free parking savings with the AP, it was pretty close to being a toss-up with regards to price between the AP and MYW. We are still waffling a bit (which is another reason I am stalling on buying tickets now). We are leaning towards the AP so we have the flexibility to hit the parks on arrival days for fireworks and maybe a last minute favorite or two on departure days without using up a day on a MYW ticket.

So for DDE, if am I understanding you right-correct me if I am way off base, if I purchase it on site, I will get a temp card for the Feb visit. Will they mail a permanent card to my home for the Nov trip?
