Awesome! I see you're about to go on your first family Disney trip! We just went on our first last October and had the time of our lives... I'm sure you will too! When are you going/where are you staying?!?

I'm guessing you're around St. Louis? We are about an hour west of StL!

We are going in May, staying at the Poly. I didn't grow up in St. Louis, but DH and I moved there after college (Mizzou). I consider it my "adoped" hometown .

My DH and I both went to Mizzou too! Last year was our first year with football season tickets... my DH's dream! He's from St. Charles and I'm from Warrenton (probably have passed through many times while driving to Columbia!) and that's where we live now!

It's ok though...it will come eventually.

So last night at work I had the pleasure of working in our OB triage where we evaluate patients to see if they need to go to labor and delivery or go home. You know, the usual... "No your water didn't break, you just pee'd yourself" stuff! Normally it's super busy down there and I'm not the biggest fan of working down there, but someone up above was looking down on me last night! We were soooooo slow! Probably only had 10 patients all night and we usually do that easily in the first few hours!

So what did I do with all my free time?? I came up with ALL of our clues and order for our DD5's scavenger hunt!! I just thought I'd share all the clues with you!

We are starting out on our scavenger hunt at our house and it will take us to my in laws house where we are staying that night before we leave. (Bright and early 6am flight and they're closer to the airport!). At each of her clues she will get a puzzle piece! She's only 5, so I may have to help her with a few of these... but I think she'll "get" most of them!

#1: Sofia was a village girl, this is true. Her mommy used to make these, go find your (shoes)!

#2: If Cinderella's mice had one of these their life would be easy. Mommy can whip up a dress in a breezy! (sewing machine)

#3: What were Lady and the Tramp eating when they had their 1st kiss? We like to eat garlic bread and salad with this! (spaghetti container)

#4: Doc McStuffins has one that is magical, mommy's is not. Why don't you find it? Give it a shot! (my stethoscope)

#5: Nemo and his friends had to escape from this to get back to the ocean. He just needed to use his brain and didn't need a magic potion! (fish tank)

#6: When Belle played in the snow with the Beast she had to grab it. Hurry up and go get your (jacket)!

#7: Lightening McQueen could race very far. Now why don't you go and get in your (car)!

#8: Swimming in the deep blue sea sure would be cool! Do you think Ariel would like to live in Grandma's (pool)?

*This clue will take us down to my in laws house!*

#9: Rapunzel had to use this to keep her hair soft and shiny. When she brushed and sang her hair became yellow and bright like sunshiny! (brush)

#10: Tic toc, tic toc. Better watch out Captain Hook! Here comes the croc with the (clock)!

#11: The Evil Queen saw this on the wall. And said, "Mirror, mirror. Who is the fairest of them all". (bathroom mirror)

#12: Aladdin rubbed this and a genie appeared with a start. We turn it off when we're about to depart! (lamp)

#13: When Ariel saw this she didn't act proper. What did she think was her dinglehopper? (fork)

#14: A skunk has a smell that can overpower. Bambi thought his skunk friend was a "Pretty (flower)"!

#15: Aladdin took Jasmine on this for a fabulous ride. Too bad we have it stuck on the floor all house-wide! (carpet)

#16: You use one of these to sleep on your bed. Surely Aurora had one under her head! (pillow)

#17: Snow White bit into this big, shiny red fruit. What it did to her was not a hoot! (apple)

#18: Now put your puzzle together and when you do... you will receive your final clue!!!

*She will put her puzzle together and when she's done I will tell her to look on the back of it for her last clue!*

#19: Cinderella had a coach, we have a car. If you find where we keep it, you'll get a big, gold star!! (garage)

*Then she'll go to the garage where she will see their suitcases, shirts to wear down there and Disney balloons!!*

I cannot wait for April 15th to come!!! Less than four week until we surprise our princess... and in four weeks from today we will in Magic Kingdom!! I can't believe how soon it is!

Ha ha! I must have been in just the right mood at work Monday night... because I tend to think I'm not the most creative! I probably am a little more than I give myself credit for! Let's just say, an online rhyming dictionary was my best friend!

And when that happens, you can bet your booty I'll be stalking Southwest for cheap flights for some weekend trips with our oldest DD! I'm bad...

Your boys will LOVE the surprise!! Good luck keeping it all under wraps! It's been so hard!

I am getting so antsy for our trip! People from our wonderful April board and Facebook group have started their trips and their pictures are making me insanely jealous! I love seeing their pics and reading updates on their trips, but it's making me so ready to go already!!

We're at the 2 week mark today! 14 days from right now we will probably have crashed in our room after our busy travel day in preparation for our MK day because I am determined to make it to RD! I can't wait to stop imagining what we'll be doing and actually experience it!

A few things have me worried though... our 22 month old has followed in her big sister's footsteps and has started the "Terrible Two's" a bit early. I took the girls to a nearby town last week to meet friends who were up from Florida and we stayed at the hotel they were staying at. And Harper was TERRIBLE!! She screamed until about 12:15 in the morning and I immediately thought to myself... I hope this isn't our future at Disney in a few weeks. And the two girls have been fighting like crazy and I feel like all we do is yell at them to be good! Makes me think we're crazy for wanting to do this trip without extra hands to help us! Lord, help us!

I also worry about my grandpa. Many of you from the Facebook page know this already, but a little over a month ago he was diagnosed with kidney cancer that has spread to his brain, lungs and bones. This has progressed rapidly. Mid February at my birthday party he was perfectly fine... and now he is far from it. He's hardly eating and pretty much sleeps all day. I worry about being down in my happy place and getting a not so happy phone call. And I also worry that a few days before we are supposed to leave getting that phone call and having to make a terrible decision . It really all just sucks So I'm selfishly praying that everything happens very soon or waits a few weeks until we get home... and I feel horrible for saying that!

Addison helping him open his Christmas presents this year. He adores my girls... I can hear him saying, "Hey toots!" to her right now. We all love him to pieces and this is going to be so hard on my sweet little girl

I know even with everything going on, we will make this trip magical

On a happier note... I just booked my DH and I's ADR's for our end of September anniversary trip! It will be a quick 3 day trip that we plan on doing DHS on arrival day, MK the next, then Epcot for F&W on our last day. We will have park hoppers so we can stray from the plan if we wish, but our ADR's follow this. All dinner ADR's... 50's Prime Time at DHS, then 'Ohana on MK day and Teppan Edo on Epcot day!

I'm hoping that since we have this trip planned the dreaded PDD won't hit me so hard this time! I guess we'll see...
