We have just added three days to our trip. We already have 10 day park hopper tickets. We would like to have 12 day tickets. Is there such a thing. How do I take my tickets and get more days without upgrading to an AP? How much will it cost? Thanks!

You might be able to upgrade to AP, only paying the difference of the two.
I think it's cheaper that way.

Why not just buy a 2 day ticket? That seems like what you'll have to do if you don't want an AP.

Your other option would be to buy another longer pass and save the remaining days for a future trip. Just make sure the tickets are the non-expiry type.

I don't want 7 AP's. That is just way too much money. The way the price just goes up a few dollars per day (once you get into the 5-10 day range) is really great! I wondered if they have a way to pro-rate a few more days for a guest. Or, if 10 days is the limit before going into an AP--can I use up two days and this reload the tickets with two more days? How much would that cost? Anyone?

10 days is the max and you cannot reload them.

So, your options are AP's or 2 day tickets.

I looked around and it looks like it would be cheaper to buy the extra two days rather than buying an AP. But you might just wanna look for yourself, because the prices may be different in your situation.

With hopping the break even between regular tickets and an AP is about 13 days.

If you set aside some days for water parks and Disney Quest only, you can get 12 days of Disney fun or even all 14 consecutive days (up to 15 if non-expiring) out of a 10 day pass with water park fun & more.

If you anticipate a trip after this one that is more than a year away you could get one 10 day expiring pass to use up completely and then start on a second 10 day pass, this one with non-expiration. If you expect another trip less than a year away you should get AP's now (using 12 days now and some days later).

From time to time 14 and 21 consecutive day promotional Disney passes are available from non-Disney sources. Currently I don't know of any for sale in the U.S.

Thanks everyone!!!Seashore--maybe I should consider what you said and get the plusses. We are going in January and it's too cold for water parks but maybe we could hit Disney Quest a couple of different days... I'll have to check and see what the plus passes would cost extra. Honestly, if I'm going to start over with tickets (like a two day) I'll just go to Sea World or Universal or something...

I think 10 Disney park days is enough for one trip. Really. LOL

Seriously though..... If you are looking for things to do for a couple of days...... Let's see. Here's a few ideas.

1. Resort hopping - This is very doable even without a car if you plan it properly.

2. Downtown disney

3. Fantasia Gardens / Winter Summerland miniature golf

4. Cirque du Soleil - (Although this would be pretty expensive)

5. DisneyQuest

6. Swim (Pools are heated)

If you are sure you want to spend two more days in the parks, consider spending a day or two at Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure. If you haven't been, check out www.usf.com and see if they have things that would interest you. We spend at least one day there every year and love it!

Hope this helps!

We are going to be there from Dec. 30-Jan. 14 and we are doing all the things you mentioned already. From experience, though, too many "off" days can get a little boring!

If you consider the USO/IOA route, they have a fantastic bargain right now. Buy a one day ticket ($55), get free admission for all of 2006 (with some blackout dates).

That deal is for Universal Hollywood, not Orlando.

The 2 day/2 park pass is offering an option for 2 free days - that is 4 days admission for under $100

This pass may help you out for some extra days:

4-PARK ORLANDO FLEXTICKET
You will enjoy unlimited admission to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld and Wet ‘n Wild for the length of your stay (up to 14 consecutive days)
Adult
$184.95

Child (Ages 3-9)
$150.95

The 5 park one, with Busch Gardens included is $40 more.

Not sure if this is a route you want to take....
