More SSR declared

THey have declared the 3rd floor of the last building at SSR into DVC inventory. It looks like the only undeclared part of SSR is the 4th (and smallest) floor of the 18th building.

Well that didn't take long! When SSR opened, DVC was predicting a 6-7 year sell out time. Looks like 4-5 would have been more accurate.

Guess that means they're not going to be pressured to offer any outrageous last-minute deals. Well, I'll try not to be disappointed. After all, the better their sales are doing, the more new resorts we'll keep getting.

Exactly....maybe they'll annouce CRV....
Although I can't imagine why they would do that if they still need to sell a heckuva lot of AKV.

I'm just gonna ask because I don't really understand, does this mean that more rooms would be put into inventory now?, and if so, how soon, and yes I am on a waitlist Thanks!!

Just got off the phone with MS...being that I'm wait-listed
for my Aug stay(GV) they informed me that when they open
up that floor, the rooms would first go out to the wait-listed.

There's hope yet!!!

We still have the TreeHouseVilla's that they are building ( Replacing) to declare.
I know they are part of SSR right now in the POS but no official anouncement yet for what they will do but I still think they will just stay at SSR as 2bdrooms. thats 60+ more rooms

The first floor was Dec 27 2007
The second floor was March 20 2008
The third floor was May 7 2008

The second floor has the most points associated with it (it has the GV's)
The first floor is next, then the third floor.
The fourth floor has the fewest point associated with it.

Sales at SSR had been about 1 building every 3 months, but slowed some when AKV went on sale.

I did the tour there last week and got offered 10.00 off a point, the 500 GC and 160 December 2007 use year points.

The guide said this offer was good until may 30. I'm just waiting for DH to say go ahead and buy.

Yep...DW and I bit on that offer yesterday It won't take long now for the inventory to be exhausted!

I got a postcard last week offering points for $94 and a $500 gift card with a 100 point add-on.

Is this really likely?? I know there was a lot of speculation about the THV, but nothing seemed very certain...

Ah that will be the one we stayed in back last October then, with the highest room number in the whole resort!

Because AKV is a totally different "animal". Each of us have their preferences and it's cool if people love AKV, however I for one am not that interested in it. If they want to appeal to people like me, then they better offer Kingdom Tower.

Oh, a couple of weeks ago I talked to my Guide and she said they expect SSR to be sold out by mid June. That's not very far away.
