Amazon lists the release date as Nov 30, 2010 for the DVD.

I can't wait. I think it isn't coming to Atlanta until October. But, maybe there will be showings added in the L.A. area in September.

My friend and I saw this documentary in DC when it came to the Smithsonian on first release. It is an incredible movie to see on the big screen and I highly recommend seeing it in the theater even if you also buy it on DVD.

Thanks challer - I didn't notice it was available yet on Amazon for pre-order. I just checked it out and put in my order - I cannot wait to see this again!

I was able to see it in Greensboro, NC. This movie was great. I can't wait for this movie to come out on DVD.

When I spoke to Don Hahn at the Walt Disney Family Museum a couple of weeks ago, I brought up "Waking Sleeping Beauty". He said it would be out on DVD in November with many hours of bonus features.

The DVD's going to be in a box set with "the boys" and "Walt and El Grupo" too. Released in November.
