We are doing the 4 day Wonder. Flying into MCO on Saturday afternoon, and renting a car and driving to Port Canaveral, staying at the Radisson. Is this a good place or better suggestions? We read/heard that you can leave car there while your gone, true? Do you need to make ressies for shuttle?
What about parking your car at DCL Terminal?
We are renting the car because we plan to go to WDW after cruise and like the convience of having a car.
Thank for any advice or help.

It is probally cheaper to rent a car at MCO for one day, turn it in at the port just before you board the boat and after the cruise do just the opposite. Why pay to park a rental??

I would suggest bidding on Priceline.
You can go to biddingfortravel.com and get priceline information such as the hotels and the going rate and also car rental information.

I'd go even further.

Do a 1 way towncar to the port and do a rental car from the port for the rest of the trip. The towncar services do include grocery stops now too if you wish to pick up anything on the way.

The Radisson has shuttles to the port and the car rental agencies have shuttles to the local counter to pick up a car after the cruise.

We've thought of just renting the car for one day and turning it back in and getting another after, but then we know we will have a car and can "make a fast get away" to WDW:D Think we got fairly decent rental rates - just $20.00 more than last year. I don't know, will probably drive myself crazy and any one else near me crazy too, by the time we get gone. AND then I gotta watch and hope for good AP codes for July. What a dilemma:rolleyes:
