I was wondering where is Pop Century located in Disney?
I was also looking through some planning guides and want your honest opinion my daughter will be 6 so forsure we are doing the magic kingdom ... now here is where the question is is epcot too old for her and mgm too ? Do you reccommend mgm or the animal kingdom? Or would be best to do like magic kingdom and say sea world or orlando studios?
Do you just ask for teacher rate at the resorts or is there a way to do this??
thanks Diane

Your daughter will like the shows at MGM Studios alot. I have not been to Epcot so I can't give options for that park. Sea World is a excellent park to. All the animals is awesome. I think a six year would like Animal Kingdom to.

The Swan and Doplphin is the only hotels onsite that offer teachers rates. You have to call the resort and ask for the teacher rates. Also I think show proof that is a teacher. Also book online on this board the teachers through dreams on limted. Also the Swan and Dolphin charge a 10.00 resort fee on top the rate.

I hope that helps.

Go to Epcot!!! Your DD will have fun making a mask at all the kidcot stations in the countries around the World Showcase. Also Spaceship earth is my 6yo favorite attraction! The living seas now has Nemo and Illuminations is not to be missed!! Epcot is a great park. MGM has the Little Mermaid show, Beaty and the Beast show, Fantasmic, Playhouse Disney, Muppet #D. All great for kids. My DD has enjoyed these on our past trips.

In my opinion and you can check into the Universal Studios info for their attractions. I remember there not being too much for a kid to do there. This place is geared more towards older kids and adults. Islands of Adventure does have a few rides for kids, nothing like the Magic Kingdom. Sea World is great especially if your child likes sea life. I do know that it is mostly shows and they run at different times so you might not be able to see everything in one day.

With all there is to do right on WDW property we haven't ventured out to the rest of Orlando in the past few trips.(we go every year) FYI- The rest of Orlando is VERY different from Disney. Let's just say when your on property you are spoiled by the way things are. You'll see when you get there!

Like mentioned before, the Swan and Dolphin are the only resorts that offer the teacher discount on property.

Pop Century is located next to the All Stars Resorts. If I'm not mistaken it is in the Animal Kingdom Resorts area.

For a first trip, I would just stick to WDW. All four parks have plenty for a 6 year old to do. I would allow two days at MK and at least one at each other park. I can't remember which park Pop Centry is considered part of but it is served by bust service to all parks.

Happy Planning.
