Can I take:
1. Liquid decongestant. I think they say you can now have 4 oz of non-prescription medicine in your carry-on, is this correct? I wanted to give my 7 year old DD some decongestant for her ears before we take off. (I've been trying to find chewables, but so far have had no luck!) So can I bring the liquid type?
2. Food. I was going to take a couple snacks in my carry-on, which I believe is fine, as long as it's not liquid or gel. Can I also carry food items in my checked luggage? I wanted to put in some breakfast/snack items like granola bars, etc. Is this ok too?
3. Small purse. I wanted to take a small fancy purse filled with trinkets, small book, toys, etc. to give to my DD for a surprise on the plane. She's really nervous about flying and I thought this would help keep her occupied. Will this be ok, especially going through security? (It would be in my carry-on).
That's all I can think of right now, I'm sure there's more that I forgot. Sorry that it's so long and thanks for the help. This is only my 2nd time ever flying, so I'm new at all this!
