More ladies room venting....

Inspired by the tinkling on the seat post my next biggest complaint is where they place the TP holder and trash recepticle in public toilets. Today I was in one where the TP holder nearly touched the seat. No how is a person supposed to sit or hover around that??? I am not kidding, they allowed about 18 inches for a person to fit over the toilet. Now we ladies have need to reach into places men don't and that takes some space. Can't they mount those holders up 2 or 3 feet above the level of the toilet seat to allow for more room???? :confused3

Message here: If you install, hire someone to install, design products to be installed, please bear this in mind. Thank you.

i hate ladies rooms that don't have doors that can be pushed open from either direction. i don't want to touch the door after i've washed my hands! i end up having to take an extra paper towel to use on the door handle.

I completely agree. If I have to I use the inside of my shirt at the hem. Dumb I suppose but I can't stand touching it. EWWWwwwww.

At least have the way out be a PUSH not a PULL so we don't have to touch the handle. Or keep a garbage nearby so I can pull, dunk, and leave.

I can't stand it when women use their cell phones in the stalls. How crass can you get?

I guess that carries "multi tasking" to a whole different level!

Oh my gosh, I totally understand about the TP roller height thing. I just moved into a brand new townhome and whoever the "man" was that installed the rollers didn't give any clearance. My DS even complains about it when he has to sit sometimes. Also, Whoever installed the peep hole put it in at his height because I'm 5'6" and I have to stand way up on my tippy toes to see out the darn thing.

What bothers me is where they put the hook for your purse. Especially if you have a long purse and it unhooks the door in the stall.

My biggest rest room pet peeve.....is when I'm in the restroom at work and there are 15 empty stalls all in one row....I'm the only one in there and someone comes in and has to use the one RIGHT NEXT TO ME. That hacks my nerves.

I agree with everyone's gripes. Especially how they install those tissue rollers on top of the seats and how people have to come in to the stall right next to you when the whole room is empty.

Another one I can't understand is why is there a two inch gap along the door frames? I mean, I know I am not trying to look inside the stalls when I am waiting in line and probably no one else is either, but I feel uncomfortable with those big gaps. I need privacy in the bathroom.

OK, I have to add my restroom peeve. I hate it when the stall is so short I cannot enter the restroom and close the door without straddling the toilet. I've been in restroom stalls where the door brushes against the front of the bowl. Guess I just want some leg room when I do my business.
