More hesitation about L&M

I made reservations with them for early March for a mid size. Got a virus with their email confirmation & they told me they would give me a free day & it would be noted on the reservation, no problem. I called to confirm and there was no note about the free day, so I've called & spoke to about 3 different people, all who fail to call me back. They said they're very busy due to the car races, but still have not taken the 60 seconds to note the free day. I feel like a beggar each time I have to call back and explain my story. I am also told that their "mid size" vehicle is a Nissan Sentra or Altima. Avis's mid size is a Pontiac Grand Am. Are the Nissans as big as the Pontiac? Or am I paying a mid size rate for a compact? They also told me they only hold cars 2 hrs from the time noted on the ressie. So...if your plane is late (which they usually are) do you now not have a car? I am losing patience with this company and if they can't get my ressie straightened out, I may just stick with Avis or National. They are at least 50 higher, but I know I'll get what I'm promised.

Our mid size from L and M was a Mitsubishi Galant, which was great....we've rented cars from them several times with no problems.
