Someone here suggested signing up for the rewards program before booking my first flight. Do I need to sign everyone in my family up, or will their flights be credited to my account since we're booking at the same time?

Also, has anyone done the deferred billing. You can have them bill you in 90 days. Does this affect the reservation at all?

I am guessing they mentioned the A+ rewards so that you could get the frequent flyer miles? Whenever we fly an airline we open an account with the airlines frequent flyer miles...

I signed up my entire family for the A+ Rewards program. They are the ones to get the flight credits regardless of who pays for the tickets. That being said, I buy the gift certificates to collect 1 credit per $100. Then the credits for the gift certificates go into MY account. EXAMPLE: Our family of five gets flights for $200 each. I call and purchase $1000 in gc. I received 10 flight credits for that. Then I go online and book the tickets for everyone one reservation using each individual's reward number. I pay for them using the gc's, which I had deposited to my account instead of having them sent. Total flight credits - 12 for me (10 for the gc, 2 for the rountrip), the rest of the family each receives 2 flight credits for the round trip. Just be sure to give them your A+ number when you purchase the gc's.
