As far as the parades at all the parks--which is best?

At MK what is Spectro Magic and Wishes Nightime spectacular?

How do you find out what parks offer early entrance to resort guests on what days? We will be staying off site (unfortunately).

If you are an off site guest, can you use Disney transportation to get from park to park--is that free? I have no idea how that works.

Like I said in another post, we are first timers and clueless!! Our group will be 3 adults and 4 kids (13, 11, 9, 2). And yes I dont care what Disney says the 13 and 11 year old are still kids!!

The best parade is a personal prefrence that will vary, for me it is Spectro Magic.

Spectro Magic is the night time light parade at MK, and Wishes is the new fireworks show (that debuts Oct 9...stay tuned for reviews on that one).

The early morning parks are as follows:
Sunday:MK Monday:Animal Kingdom Tuesday:MGM
Wednesday: Epcot Thursday:MK Friday: Animal Kingdom
Saturday:MGM

Anyone is welcome to use the Disney Transportation (buses, Boats and monorails) free of charge. You do not have to be a Disney resort guest to use the transportation.

Enjoy your trip :)

I realize the best parade will be personal preference but I sitll want to hear what you have to say. I dont think we will be able to make all of them but would like to see atleast one or two.

On the EE, do you recommend avoiding those parks all together that day or just that morning?

Welcome Arkiegirl!

I just posted this answer for someone else about EE park days so I pasted here for you...

If you are staying off site DO NOT go to the park that has EE. I'm staying onsite and plan to go to the EE parks only in the morning but will leave when it gets crowded by lunch time and go back to the hotel for swimming and naps (2 1/2 year old with us) . We will then go to a non EE park in the late afternoon or evening. Even with that I am still wondering if I should skip any EE days. Yes they get that bad!

Hands down favorite is Spectro Magic! If I had to choice luckily my plans work them all in this trip) I would make sure NOT to miss it. And fireworks, I love fireworks!! Cant wait to see the new Wishes Show. :Pinkbounc

The daytime parades are as follows:

Share a Dream Come True at MK - often referred to as the Snow Globe Parade - cute but short. Maybe 6 large floats. Good caracter interaction.

Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade at AK - Probably 6-8 Safari style cars/floats containing characters and regular park goers. Also some amazing lifesize animal puppets & Stilt walkers. If you go to the Lion King show, you'll get a hint of what the parade will contain.(e.g. the stilt walkers)

Stars & Motor Cars Parade at MGM - Contains 8-10 specially designed cars that contain characters with additional characters dancing in front of/behind the cars. Most of the characters from recent Disney Movies are represented along with those who have rides at MGM (e.g. The Muppets & Star Wars)

They are all good - just different. My sons prefer Stars & Motor Cars to all others (because of Star Wars and Toy Story). My friend's daughter loves the Snow Globes best. I think that of the daytime parades I like the Jungle Parade best 'cuz I'm amazed by the puppets/stiltwalkers.

If you are only going to see 1 parade I say make it Spectro and then stay for the WISHES fireworks. If you are going to be in MK all day then you will also catch the 3pm parade (snow Globes). Spectro is not run every night though so you will want to check the parade schedule that will tell you when you can catch it during your trip....

I think I saw from your earlier post that you are only going to be able to go for 3 days?? If that is right try to go to MK the day they run Spectro and stay the whole day...the EE day for MK is Fri and Sat will be busy as it is a Sat, but that is usually when they might run Spectro...I say bite the bullet and go...
...or you could do AK in AM catch their parade, then go over to MK for the late afternoon for rides, shows and see Spectro and WISHES...this will not be enough time in MK however so you will need to use another day to devote to MK alone and you could catch the 3pm parade then...

AM I MAKING ANY SENSE?????

Have fun

This is also our first WDW trip, and I have used .http://disneyworld.com . They have all the times and dates for all the parades and shows. Personally I have decided to go to Spectromagic parade and Wishes(fireworks) on Tuesday night. I figured Tuesday night would be less crowded than Saturday night. :D I have been planning day by day,and it takes a lot of work trying to plan this WDW trip. We are going to all the EE days at each park. I figured it's easier to go earlier and be able to go take a nap and go back to the parks for the parades.

I thought you had to have a valid pass if you aren't staying at the resorts so can you use the trans. on a day you are not using your pass? like if they tried to get on the busat say DTD to go someplace wouldn't they have to have a park pass for that day?
