Earlier in the year, I booked a Disney trip for Sept. I called travel agent today, and asked to change this to new "free dining" package. I dont understand the photopass part of it. Can anyone explain what I need to do, and what is involved. One part says "free photopass book" and then, I also see I need to purchase a photopass book. Thanks for any help :)

Mandy,

Is your trip to Disneyland, California or Disneyworld, Florida?

The free dining is only for Disneyworld Florida, if you are staying at one of the on-site Disney owned resorts.

As for the photobook, look up Disney photopass and you will find all the information. Looks like you get one included under the new package.:)

We were lucky enough to get free dining when we booked months ago. It meant that I could then take my time to figure out where we should eat and then get my ADRs sorted out (all 16 of them!).

Even though booking now would mean that it would be hard to get the times and maybe even the restaurants that you want - free dining makes up for that hassle, I love not having to think about the bill at the end of the meal. Plus it means more spending money, hooray! :cloud9:

Yes us too.

But I wonder if we now get a photobook, I was planning on buying one anyway but if its a gift, then even better.

Its very confusing, some places you read about this promotion and it says its included and others it says there is an obligation to buy it.:confused3

the general consensus on the Discount board is that you are paying for the book - although it is hard to price it out from a package deal.
