I was able to book my FP's for March for my family of 4, and have just a couple questions:
1. I booked A&E for my whole family, along with 2 other rides of course. However, I actually need to cancel my DH and DS from this, and was hoping I could schedule FP+ for something else for them to do while I take my DD to see A&E. I was able to take them off, but when I go to try to schedule something else for them it makes me cancel all their other FP's. I'm worried that If I release those other things (one of which is 7D), I won't be able to turn around and re-book for them at the same time slot.
Is there a way to do this? If not I'll just let it be and not book a 3rd FP for them, as I don't want to mess up the other 2 that our family will do together.

2. For Epcot, I'm trying to see if I can re-arrange the time slot order for my FP's, one of which is Test Track. But because I have 3 FP's back to back filling the 9-10, 10-11, and 11-12 (essentially), I can't see if test track (currently the 3rd), would be avail sooner as I have those time slots filled. So if I cancel those, or move them to a later time just to free up the morning slots to see if Test track suddenly has an earlier option, will those time slots be filled right away, making it where I won't be able to get them back if needed? (not sure if I'm explaining in the best way).

And last, just out of curiosity, why is Voyage of the Little Mermaid in DHS only a 15 minute FP+ return window?

1. Never cancel 1 or 2 FPs without canceling all 3 for the day--you can't get them back without canceling all for the day or calling IT.

2. This one's weird, but you're on the right track. I'll let others with more experience answer.

3. Because it's a continuous-running show, with a relatively quick cycle time.

1) You will need to call Disney IT, and usually they can fix it. Next time you want to Modify your FPs and not Cancel them. Cancel is only for completely starting over. Disney shouldn't even allow you to cancel just one FP, because this happens all the time.

2) Again, use Modify FP and do not Cancel. Epcot tier 2 FPs will be easy to move around. Just change your two tier 2 FPs to later times, and then you can see if TT has an earlier time, and then adjust the other 2 FPs to times you want. You shouldn't have any problems getting those times back if that is what you want.

3) The FP is for a specific show time usually 10 minutes later. So if your FP says 10:05-10:20, then that is for the 10:30 show.
