I know there is a thread on the dog run somewhere, but I'm to lazy to dig for it.

Just got back from MK fireworks and the Outpost Yellow bus driver said the new dog run is called Wagon/Wagon's Trail and will ultimately have a drinking fountain (didn't say if for humans or 4 leggers) and a small wading pool/pond for the 4 legged WDW guests.

I knew it, I knew it. The mutts got the new pool we've been promised for years. Bet it'll have a slide unlike it's human counterpart. I'm kidding but at least they're giving something to the guest instead of closing it down lol. Now if I go over there and there's a machine to collect money to get in I'll go get my boltcutters and chop off the lock.:lmao:

They had 3 or 4 of the dog fountains installed when I went by the dog run on Jan 11th. There was a sign on the gate that had the name but I do not recall.

Next thing you know, the dogs might be beggin and barkin for a treat-bar and bottled water kiosk to go along with the pool.

If they are adding a wading pool, I hope they can drain it / circulate air through it. We've had problems with a local dog park carrying some very nasty bugs in the water - owners not picking up after pooch and when it rains, poop gets into the pool and with the FL/TX heat, it produces pretty yucky stuff. Even if owners do pick up, a stagnant pool will always produce some lovely bug!

Probably new life forms out there!

Bummer, we'll probably pass you on I-95. I wanted to see your space shuttle (van).

Just look for the big green "brick" being pushed by a 31' white thing. :lmao: :rotfl2:

We will be staying in Richmond Hill, Ga nite of 26th and Four Oaks NC on the 27th. Usually pull in around 3 to 4 PM and leave by 7 or 7:30 AM. Will stop four fuel at Brunswick, Latta and Carmel Church. This is one stop more than needed, but like to keep things topped off when I'm not carrying my extra 20 gal of liquid gold. Filled up this A.M. at the Car Care Hess (335.9 for diesel and almost $87 worth of fuel) :scared1:.

Ooo, Bex, please tell me you're not talking about the new one off Hwy 6 by the Farm & Ranch Club. My dogs *love* that place!

I hope the FW dogpark will be like our local one...the water fountains there have two levels - one for humans and one for dogs. The little lake is shaped like a dogbone and they have "faux" fire-hydrants installed for male dog use, not firefighter use!

They also have a separately fenced section for the little dogs (under 20 pounds) so my killer Dalmatian won't eat them! :lmao:
