More cutbacks, this time water parks!!!

Better double-check your schedules — WDW has revised the operating
calendars for Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
Water Parks. For a brief time beginning Sunday, April 27, Blizzard Beach
operates Sundays through Thursdays, and Typhoon Lagoon operates
Wednesdays through Saturdays. The duration of this reduced schedule
has not been announced, and the official WDW Web site still lists both
parks as operating sevendays a week.

Bob - you may want to check the accuracy of that info from Miceage. When Disney first posted the hours for TL and BB for May on the Disney website it had the closed days that you are talking about. The official site showed that each park was closed a couple of days a week. About the time Disney changed the MK operating hours and added SpectroMagic, they also changed the water park operating hours and showed that both parks were open 7 days - as the website now shows. Unless Disney reversed direction again, it is likely the Miceage info you have is old. Maybe it isn't, but I'd suggest calling Disney and checking the latest hours to confirm your rumor.

Actually I am pleasantly surprised at the number of hours the parks and the waterparks are going to be operating next week. I can't prove it but I'm sure they are open longer hours than they were last year.
