More Cincinnati Questions

DH leaves tomorrow morning for 5 weeks in Cincinnati.

The important questions:

Where do you get the best coffee?

How is the traffic?

How are gas prices?

Any famous landmarks or anything he should see?

What do Cincinnati people call carbonated soft drinks?

What areas are to be avoided at all costs? You know the places I mean.

I don't like/drink coffee, so I don't know.

Saw gas for $1.39 at Thortons today.

Traffic isn't too bad here.

Pop.

Famous must see landmark in Cincinnati.....Simba..

UDF (United Dairy Farmers) has pretty descent coffee or Starbucks.

Gas was $1.42 this morning at BP but it all depends on the part of town you're on. I can drive one more exit up the highway and get gas for $1.38 at Shell.

Traffic isn't horrible unless you get a stream of accidents on the roads, then you could sit a while but it's still no where near as bad as some of the traffic I've sat in going through Atlanta.

The zoo is always a good bet to see. The history museum at Union Terminal, and the Art Museum (which is free).

Carbonated drinks are Pop. And if your DH likes chili he's got some great choices.

Places to avoid: I'd say Over the Rhine after dark just because of the violence over the last couple years since the riots. There's not too many places I'm nervous to go to so I'm probably not the best help for that question.
