Info on the Bonus tickets (Buy 2 days/get 3 days free tickets)

The tickets now have the child designation inbedded in the ticket itself (not written on the ticket but visible when scanned.) If you are not sure which ticket is the child and which is the adult, bring all the tickets with you to the park, even those you were planning on saving. You will not be able to enter with a child's ticket if you are an adult. They did allow entrance today and might for a few days as a courtesy but this is only temporary. This is because some people ordered several tickets intending to save the rest for a future trip and inadvertantly brought the child's tickets for the adults to use. This is understandable as all the tickets are labelled as adults on the ticket itself. If that happens, your order will be pulled up and they will look to see if you did indeed order enough adult tickets for your party. If you did not order enough adult tickets for your party, your only choice would be to purchase tickets at the park.

Child's tickets can not be upgraded either to an adult ticket or to any other ticket. There is still no expiration date and if tickets are saved for a future trip, they will most likely be honored.

you know, i had a feeling this would happen sooner or later..

Yep, too much abuse. Those who made an honest mistake and had enough adult tickets but just had the tickets mixed up, were taken care of with little problem at all. Those who deliberately ordered free child's tickets and planned on just having the adults use them, had to purchase tickets.

just think of the new threads that will pop up here when the word spreads.

should i flip a coin on when the complaining will start? :rotfl:

Are the tickets that were bought months ago going to have this or just the one's bought recently? We won't have a problem since we have two adults and two children. The one's we purchased in January look like the regular 5day bonus pass. How do they now know which are the kids and which are the adults?

I don't know if your tickets are labelled as child or adult. Just bring them all and if you have them mixed up, they'll just tell you which are the adults and which are the child's. If they aren't designated adult or child when the ticket is scanned, it won't matter who has which ticket.

The tickets that were labelled yesterday were all kiosk tickets. They started labelling them (not on the outside but when they are scanned) on Feb.1 for all orders. Tickets mailed before that weren't labelled, but tickets mailed after that and all tickets that are picked up at kisok are labelled when scanned.

Are they having guests sign the tickets to designate which are which? We have 4 adults and 4 kids, so will be a shot in the dark to match each person w/their "adult/kid" ticket...I can just see me as mom getting stuck outside the gate w/the kid ticket and watching my family run off to Hulk. Wait...that sounds good as I could have all day shopping w/out them! :lmao:

Thanks for all your info on the tickets. My tickets were mailed Jan 16 so does that mean that they are not labeled and it won't matter who uses each ticket. DH is planning to go to the park while I go shopping ,Will he need to take all the tickets I was planning on joining them later in the day.

Why have the designation invisible to the naked eye? :confused3 I bought 2 adult tickets and got the free kid tickets. My 7 year old nephew will use one of the kid tickets. If my sis and her husband go off to the parks, and I go later with my nephew, how will we know which tickets each of us should take? :confused3 The extra free ticket we were going to hold on to to use for my nephew if we return for Christmas--thought is for sis and her hubby to upgrade to AP's. If we accidentily use both child tickets trying to figure out which is which, that will start the 5 day clock running on that ticket. Then, even though we did not need to use both child tickets, they will both expire. Hopefully by the time we travel in July, the tickets will be clearly labeled.

You can sign your tickets after entering so you don't mix them up.

IMGonnabe40!, I sent you a PM.

We noticed quite a few families with the mixed up tickets at the gates. Always took a few minutes to get it all straightened out as to who had what tickets.
