We're taking a quick trip to the beach (DE) before school starts.

Missy mentioned stores shuffling things around...I swear my grocery store does it on purpose! Then you have to look around more! (and all the goodies just jump into the cart!)

the sauce is simmering...the meat is cooked & in the sauce. I'm making 2 pots of sauce, one with meatballs & sausage, one with lots of garlic. So the house smells good. But it's freaking warm in that kitchen. The A/C in the dining room ain't working so I decided to come upstairs with the nice A/C & take a break.

The sauce is done, and in the freezer. I've got 5 containers of non-meat sauce & 9 containers of meat sauce. Plus a container of sauce is in the fridge for tomorrow's dinner.

I got a nice post card from Christine yesterday! Thanks Christine. I can't wait to be in DW. I hope you & Connor continue to have a great trip.
