Some are non-negotiable for various reasons. Which ones of the following ressies would you drop?

Chef Mickey's late breakfast (kind of almost not-negotiable)
Kona Cafe Dinner
CRT Lunch (Not negotiable)
Coral Reef lunch
Rose and Crown lunch
Chefs De France dinner
Tony's Town Square late lunch (not negotiable unless something else opens up)
Sci Fi Dine In lunch
Teppan Edo early dinner, Candlelight package
Biergarten dinner
Le Cellier Candlelight package (love it, but not exactly best with our schedule)
Brown Derby dinner Fantasmic package

We have 10 credits (but may pay OOP for Chef Mickey's.) So I have 13 credits listed there, so basically I need to get rid of 3.

Which ones would you drop?

Thanks!

Just our humble opinion, but the first to be dropped would be Chefs de France. The only thing we found edible was the flat bread appy. Next would be Sci-Fi. Although it is a fun atmosphere, my DH and DS vowed never to return.

I personally would drop the Rose & Crown....not because I don't like it, I do, but because I am usually just about as happy to buy the counter service fish & chips and sit beside the lake and eat. We enjoyed Chefs de France a lot. I guess if you have to drop 3 this might be one I would choose to drop.

Would have to second the vote for Chefs de France. I've eaten there 4 times and I don't know why. Nobody in our group likes it.

I'd drop Chefs de France, Rose n Crown and late lunch at Tony's. Next would be Biergarten if Tony's can't be dropped.

Hi
I wouldn't use Sci-Fi for a table service. We went in August and I had an ADR, but just went for milkshakes or sundaes. My DH, DD and I went a few years ago and just had beers and appetizers. If you just use it for a place to take a break from the park, you can still get to enjoy the atmosphere. Unless you really like all the food on the menu, I would think about dropping Rose and Crown for lunch. I think the other places you mentioned are a better use of a table service credit. Have a great time!

Oh that is a GREAT idea! I had never even thought of that! We are very light eaters. The way we eat, a light, continental breakfast and one counter service meal would basically be the equivalent. We expect to splurge a little while there, but we also love our park time. Had never thought of going in for just a little snack.

Which makes me wonder, can we use any sort of dining credits on that?

If not, we'd probably just pay OOP.

Thanks!

If you decide to do the snack-break type visit you'll pay OOP.
The TS locations are not set up to use your CS or snack credits, and of course you dont' want to use a TS credit for milkshakes.

We do this sometimes when we are taking 'extra' ADRs to compensate for using 2 on something or whatever, make sure when you are settling the bill that they have not used your credits! It has happened to us a couple of times even if we specifically tell the server that we are paying OOP. Often we try to pay cash for this type of 'meal' to avoid the problem.

For the rest of your list, I would drop Tony's (just not one that we like - we find the CS at pinocchio's to be just as good), and the advice given earlier about the fish & chips at R&C is good advice as well. Also, Biergarten while fun for adults and musical can be a hard place for many kids to eat happily.

HTH.

i would drop the fantasmic dinner package at brown derby b/c it is 2 credits. there are alot of food choices in front of the amphitheater. when we were there 2 weeks ago i went in to find good seats and my dh went out to get food and while waiting for the show to start we had a nice meal in the stadium. the package does not guarantee you a seat only a specific section. the stadium is huge and seating was not difficult to find.
