I was back on the Disney site today, playing with quotes and prices (as you do, when you've booked a holiday - trying to see if it still the same price - you know!)

Anyway - as you know, when I booked I got 40% off the Newport Bay price - but the offer was not on for all the other hotels.

Now, however the deal is on EVERY hotel except Santa Fe - the effect has been to make Santa Fe the second most expensive hotel for the 6 days we are staying. :rotfl:
Even the Hotel New York was cheaper.

Talking of the Hotel New York :rolleyes1 - the 40% offer wasn't on there when I booked our holiday, but now it is. It would only be another £140 to change our stay from the Newport Bay to the HNY.

At HNY we could have a hot breakfast.

At HNY we don't need to book a breakfast slot.

At HNY you don't have far to walk at the end of the day.

Should I change my booking? Do I need to change my ticker????????

oh my, there's a dilema but I have to say with a post like that I really need to book a trip !!!!! going to have to work on dh big time.

Oh and I think I'd definitely be switching to HNY ;)

I think it would be HNY for me too - but don't you want to be able to say you've stayed in each onsite hotel? You're booked for the HNY later in the year aren't you :) ? Or am I getting you mixed up with someone else? If so, completely ignore me lol.

Hotel New York every time!! I love the Manhatten restaurant for breakfast rather than the Parkside.

I just have one more hotel to visit, then ive stayed in them all.hehe

I would defentially switch to hotel New York though.:goodvibes

My vote goes to HNY. Given the choice, that's where I would stay.:goodvibes How much more for the DLH?

Unfortunately, even with the 40% off the DLH is £900+ more.

Without the 40% off DLH was over £3000
:faint:

I was looking forward to the Newport Bay, as that would leave me with just the Cheyenne to try. But if I swap, I'll just have to plan another holiday another time. :rotfl:

Wow £3000.

For my dates in July with the -40% discount i managed to book the DLH for £1205., not too bad i suppose.

Newport bay hotel is stil great though.:goodvibes

think i wud swap!!!! lol

i am still toyin with the holiday idea, but til we know bout dhs job, its up in the air!!

wud love to splash out on dlh, and keep thinking maybe....

so - if ur thinking bout it - do it lol ull regret not doing it ;) :lmao:

i would stay at ny everytime!. Def the manhattan for a hot breakfast after a couple of magic hrs in the park was the biggest pro of the hny. after the S.L 7am breakfast slot last time - it was much appreciated!!:goodvibes

i would love to stay at the hotel new york so i would definately book that instead

Okay - the ticker has changed! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

yaaaaaaaaaaaay good choice!!!!:thumbsup2

all this talk of a hot breakie sounds good - whats the latest breakkie u can have then to get a good emh run in??? am gonna go n have another nosey at the site lol

thats great. i really want to book there but only the 40% off offer made that possible lol

when we were there in jan, breakfast was served until 11am! We tended to go for emh for 8.30 and then back the hotel for breakfast around 9.45/10ish. By then we had worked up an appetite, had a really good leisurely breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages) and then only really needed a pastry mid afternoon before a big eve meal covered by half board plus vouchers.Think we saved quite a bit of money doing it this way!:thumbsup2

I'm seriously tempted to ring and ask how much an upgrade would cost....

Just price it up on their website, Bob, that's what I did. Then when I had decided to upgrade I phoned up. I have just got my confirmation email too. :cool1:

I think it would only be about £85 to upgrade.... Don't have the money at the moment, but might do it when Robert gets paid.... Will have to see though! I would absolutely love to do it......
