Mopeds for Rent on St. Thomas?

Has anyone had any experience with Renting Mopeds on St. Thomas? I heard they are availalble, but I am not sure where or how much, or if one place is better than another... Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated...

DO NOT rent mopeds on St. Thomas, unless you have a death sentence. They are very unsafe, and many accidents have occured. The roads of St. Thomas are very twisty and hilly, and cars drive around the curves at much higher speeds than posted. Since most of the curves are blind, the drivers who are going fast, can not see a moped driver ahead. We visit St. Thomas and St. John quite a lot, and there are a nemis on the roads.

Quite correct IrishCowboy , but on St. Thomas, they probably would let you out of prison!!! It would keep their prison costs down to let them ride the mopeds, since it is so unsafe, a lot of them would end up killed!!! As I said, the residents of both St. Thomas and St. John DESPISE these things and they are truly a menace on the roads. They're are a relatively new addition to the tourist landscape in the USVI and hopefully will be shortlived.

So, if I am still crazy enough to rent a moped on St. Thomas, does anyone know a good place to rent them from?
