Profound thought of the day.... Parked in the "NEW MOM" spot today, If you're mind is twisted enough, it says "WOW MEN" or "MEN WOW" . Profound thought over.

Warning- I'm that cow in the pasture that tends to get isolated from the herd....

I am not getting your profound thoughts, LittleBlue But new mom parking? Never heard of of that. Is that different from Stork Parking?

I'm slightly tipsy. From rum. Which is my new favorite drink. Only Anthony hears me order it and then says "But where has all the rum gone?"

Umm. Elizabeth Swann burned it? Or Amber Celery drank it? Eek! I do not know!

What time is late night chat tonight? We have to take the kids home and then grab a bite to eat.

Well, 7 weeks ago we didn't go grocery shopping or date. lol.

Our "date" today consisted of grocery shopping and afterwards I was so tired I couldn't even have a conversation. We brought the grocerys home and I didn't want to get up from the couch. Then we went to The Home Depot, but they didnt have what we needed, so we went to Lowes. Then we had to go back to Walmart for a gift bag and card. Then I told Chad I just wanted to go home. I was too tired to go spend money on dinner I wouldn't enjoy. So we drove through McDonalds and I had frys and a double cheeseburger for dinner. We got a movie(Apocalypto, oh my gosh, what a waste. Not in english and no subtitles. We tried making up our own dialogue, but it got old. ) and he dropped me off at home so I could shower and crash on the couch. Then he picked up the boys. They were home by 7:30. So much for a date. lol.

I feel less tired now that I've spent some time resting on the couch.

Maybe I'll be around for chatting purposes if it's not too late.

LittleBlue - There is only one store around here that has special parking for pregnant ladies(no new moms) it's about 1 hour away(I've only been there on the way to the beach). It's in a really rich city, if they had them around here with all the scum no one would actually leave them open for pregnant woman.

I never mind walking, even with the kids, except when it's 4000 degrees out. lol

Nab, Uma, Twink & Marita - Thanks! DD is a cutie but is really turning into a little spit-fire (to put it nicely ) Does this sort of thing just happen over night??? My goodness can she throw a fit, her temper is like nothing I've ever seen! We just had it out because she got out of the bathtub and didn't want to get dressed and wanted run around nekkid! DH thought I was torturing her due to the noises that were coming from upstairs

Marita - That's a shame about your DH. How much is a cab going to cost???

Hi Lil Blue! I am a big fan of the Peep thread. I lost 15 lbs between Halloween and New Years which is no mean feat for me. Eating healthy is always a goog choice but remember that new mamas need lots of rest and healthy food! I always find that the baby weight comes right off.... however weaning is a whole 'nother story......

ETA Oh my! a whole bunch of you snuck in! Hi MP! Hi Betsy- how old is your DD? Goldenchild just turned two and boy does he know it...

Baby weight does NOT melt right off me. I'm still trying to lose it from Jeremiah. LOL!

DD is 14 months and is giving me a run for my money! I need to find a nickname for her! I'm sure that shouldn't be too hard. I did call her Cruella for a while because she would all of the sudden change her voice and sound very raspy and different. Who knows, that might stick!

Is Goldenchild your only little one until Grasshopper is here?

nursing TJ can have all the fatty milk he wants. I juust have to control the fat I intake.

OMGosh LittleBlue! I was 180 when Kaleb was born. I lost all his weight, but could never get off all of Ethans. I'm starting out at 140. Which is why I cannot gain ANYTHING but what the baby takes up.

Ha! Ok you are my new best friend. Feel free to picture me as thin as you want.

I needed to lose the 15 lbs since I had gained it over the summer/early fall as I cut back on nursing Goldenchild. Whatever I gain while pregnant I lose very quickly postpartum BUT I gain it back while weaning. With the girls I gained 24 lbs!!!! Way to much for a shorty like me. (Of course nursing twins requires 1000 extra calories a day. I had fun getting to eat whatever I wanted for a year!)

I look basically the same as I did in high school. Back then I wasn't considered thin just normal..... also I am pretty sure they keep making sizes bigger since I wear smaller jeans now than I did in high school.

Easy Street is a brand of shoes. I only own one pair, but love them. very comfy and even chic (dress shoes). I saw the sandals today at the Blair.com catalogue. Not crazy about colors, as I have black jeans, and they and white and fuschia and bronze and turquioise. But I want some to drive with in the car anyway, fashion be darned.

Nicknames just kind of need to happen. No Grasshopper makes 5. My oldest does not yet have a cool disboard nickname. Think on that moo-eeps. He is 13. The twins are Twinkerbell and Princess Twink. They are 5. I like their nicknames except they are really too long.... they say "tinkerbell" like twinkerbell so that is kind of funny. And you all know Goldenchild. Recently 2.

The good thing about the terrible twos (which is one of my favorite phases btw) is the younger it starts the younger it ends... it is year of growth and frustration because they can't do everything they want. NOW.

Way to go Lil Blue! Are you little like me and MP? I lie and say I am 5 ft 4. But not really. I did tell the truth (5ft 3 and well it used to be 3/4 but maybe it is less) today on realage.com. I am still waiting for my email to tell me how old I really am...

also I used my pre-pregnancy exercise habits but I don't exercise while pregnant, I did use my current weight but I haven't gained much yet
