Speaking of work I was at my Mom's on the weekend and read in the paper that my last place of employment closed last summer. I have worked in 6 different jobs. All are closed now. Some closed while I worked there and was out of a job.Hubby said good thing I don't need a resume I would have no references.

Off this morning to get my cross stitch back from being framed, get a birthday present for a classmate of Hannah's, and get gas. Hubby said he filled his truck last night and it cost him $79.00 so I know my car will be a least $40.00 we are getting ripped off at the gas pumps.

I have not been a happy camper...my internet has been down since yesterday afternoon and finally came back on It came up for about 5 minutes last night and I had my post typed and when I went to post it, I lost my connection again

Actually I was awesome. Cleaned the kitchen. Supervised baths for all the kids (that was 6!) got them in jammies and in front of a disney sing along and then told dh at 8 pm.... "I am done being a parent tonight" so he did all the "simmer dan nah" that sleepovers require.

MommyP- I told you I would concede the baby race gracefully. At your age I don't think I had kids yet... except for DS now13 who I got by cheating.
Hope you feel better soonishly. However feeling icky is good! The best sign at these early days that things are fine.

LittleBlue - According to your last Thumper update you are resting right now. I hope that's true! If you've been up since 3AM you must be so tired! Rest up so you have energy to push! I wish I had a lap top so I could keep you all updated when I go into labor. I'll have to call Uma and keep her up to date so she can post for me. Of course, it will have to be on a weekend though, right Uma?

I just got back and spent way to much money today on hubby's credit card.

Bought my new skirt and top There was a much nicer lady there this time.

And got a gold cross and chain for my Godchild who is getting Confirmed next weekend. I am sure hubby is going to freak when he sees the price of that.

Still have to go out and get a birthday present for a Hannah's friends birthday party on Sat. It never ends....

Because my name is Elisabeth. So somebody shortened it to E. My signature actually has my name in it. Once I posted something on a mildly "offensive" thread and somebody made a smart remark and I replied "I wouldn't know about that because I am a LADY" Which is why my signature says "that's Lady Elisabeth to the rest of you" AND because if Cpt. Jack is around then I may not act very ladylike, but everybody else still has to call me that. *also Keira Knightley's character's name is Lady Elizabeth in POTC, so I just made a play on that too.

you could be a real comfort to her related to her recent troubles...]

life bounces everybody....why coping skills are needs....so those with
effective ones are great comfort measures when friends are struggling
with interpersonal needs...


* i have a picture from one of their concerts...1972, that had all
the brothers together. can't say i ever interacted- with any of them...

* now, i don't have alot knowledge concerning mormons. however,
i like to say this...when my mother visited me in florida, 1975...,
we met this nicest family that were mormons. because they went
out of their way~ to been so super nice to my mother, i always
appricated them/this family.* sorry, this family shared their beliefs
of helping others...regardless of faith.

* , marie comments toward family and how much more
important she valued her children over awards ,is impressive to me.
i also think they way they rally around each other, and how well
they cope when life dosen't go right,...demonstrate the values of
being a family. i have respect for their family and their inner strength.
as far as i am concern..marie, is a much better role model for
jordan /lil' girls..than some of the others.

We played cards til my husband decided he needed a nap- afterall, he had been up all night working and I woke him when I returned from the ultrasound.
I was scheduled for my second- made it so easy since my two are just a year apart and the first wasn't walking yet! Doctor said, "how's Feb 1 at 10AM? and I said ,"it's suits me just fine". #2 was delivered at 11:35 that morning. Now,that's the way to have a baby- labor free with both

wow you have some serious dedication and pain tolerance i would have thrown my laptop across the room with the only Vbac i had 27 1/2 hrs of excrutiating labor . but the rest were pretty okay( c-sections) the last one Utahmamma was there at my side the whole time with norah in a car seat asleep she was first to hold maypoo. Sorry he is turning 2 soon ..: i hope you have a easy delivery.
