I know I'm going out to dinner that night at my cousin's restaurant. If I get back earlier, I can send up the signal - or whoever wants to chat can just get started!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Not much else to say.

I don't have Ivy again today.

Chad will probably have to work a whole FULL day at work because my Dad is out of town so he won't finish his job as quickly.

I'm washing clothes right now to fold later whilst watching Top Chef, or A Baby Story, or As The World Turns.

Next week I am getting school started back up. It will be a full week without interruptions so it's perfect to start back up.

I got a call yesterday from the Dr. Office. My U/S has to be rescheduled. So scratch Aug. 3rd off your calendars. I'll post when it's going to be for when I call later.

Babynurse -- both my kids were in bed at that time The guy on that show was good. I would never have gotten the last two. I remember you love Reeses peanut butter eggs. Chocolate and Doritios are my down fall.

Mommy P-- I know you were looking forward to your ultrasound. Hope it isn't to far away. We want to see a picture too.

Back to swimming and the library for me. Only two left this week. I asked about next week but they are full up. Since Nicholas will be at baseball camp I thought I would let Hannah continuing swimming, maybe someone will cancel.

Yup, peanut butter eggs are my downfall. Do you know what my dh brought home yesterday???

It was Reese's cups that also had banana flavor in them. There was a picture of Elvis on the package. Have you guys seen these? He thought I would like to try them. They were gross!! Nuthin' compares to the original egg.

Hopefully, Hannah can get into a swim class, that way she gets to do something fun next week too.

New U/S date ALERT!

August 10th. I could have gotten in as soon as the 7th. But it's better for Chad to take off a Friday. I'll be almost 20 weeks then.

Twinkie - You're 20 weeks already. Haven't you had your u/s YET?

No. The ultrasound tech only works on Wed and Thur. And the OB wasn't working those days. Must be nice to be in the medical profession. Right babynurse?

So I elected to have them do the apts back to back to save me one trip in. So the big day is July 25th. I think. Whatever next wednesday is... DH isn't sure if he can be there and part of me really doesn't want to find out and part of me wants to peek. However that is all secondary to making sure all the fingers, toes, chambers of the heart etc are there. And checking lip and palate. I hope the tech is up to snuff. Palates are hard to see. I requested a level II u/s... I hope that is what I get.

The goog news is my OB office is in the same building with the new ped. I need to take all the kids in July and since I am new I couldn't get any appts together so I will be haunting the medical office for the rest of the month. Another reason to wait another week so I could make one less trip.

Hope all is well with everyone. There's no way i can go back and read everything.
We're still not sure what is wrong with my Mother. so far,the tests are normal. The doctor is checking with a specialist later today,so hopefully we'll have some course to follow. She is having some biopsies done on susupicious marks on her face,but that's whole nother story.

but, I told my husband he may be taking the girls without me. Depends on mom.

Hey, Meeps!

I left the office at 2pm today. Turned in semi-final budget at 1pm and left the office at 2pm. After weeks of stress and adrenaline, there was no energy left to do any other work. So I am now reading here, there and trip reports.

Funny thing happened today at work. I was heading to the smoking area, and another CM comes from outside. He stops me and asks what brand I smoke. I thought he wanted to bum one. I said "Marlboro Lights". He hands me a pack of cigarettes (ML's) and says, here take this, I'm done, I quitting, I've had it"! Inside were maybe 6 cigarettes and a lighter.
I am waiting for that kind of moment to hit me too.

Poly, thanks for the update, I hope it all works out for your family.

Marita -- glad you are home early. You will have to find all the smoking places int the park. My Mom smokes too so we knew a few.

I always thought I would never say.....OH DONT SMOKE to anyone.....and I never did until my sister passed away.....I love you all ...so those who smoke try really really hard to quit....I was a heavy smoker.....hubby smoked less then I did ......then one New years Eve we said we would quit.....and January first was a new day......back then there was no patches, and no meds....it was us against the world......I stayed in bed alot....and took alot of showers and went for walks.......because those were the places that I didnt smoke.....I was a zombi and parboiled skin.........Our two kids didnt have a chance....HAHAHA....both parents nicotine less people....
Okey end of my rant........
