Good afternoon, everyone!

I slept in till 12:45 today!! Just finished the newspaper, so I have not gotten around to peeling yet, Lex.

Mommyp, my tag came from Nebo's trip report, not from here. I posted it after Nebo got 3 tags in a day!!

Have fun everybody!

:goodvibes ...backie girl, & her cute lil'taG ALONG?...lard bottom?

nahhhh, just a "figure" of someone warp imagination....after drinking
to much chocolate milk....under a very hot, hootie~ sun...

do you think the tag fairy...was exprssing some sort of secret message?
..hope it isn't a stalker reference ?

and if any consoulation ... i 'll be working....this weekend...while everyone
else is scattering to the winds...havin fun-no less!

well, this morning i was sore and tired as can be..ahhhh, nothing like a
day older...by chance of anyone been swimming in the fountain of youth,
:wizard:

hi! :flower3: , lexmelinda..., we started in 99. we have done 5, so we're
getting a lil better. however, running back and forth--i still find it
easy to get lost. nabby g. has been on a few too. she is probably much
better telling the "in's & outs"....but i must say, we've alot fun. the panama
canal..cruise was crazy...& sold out the very first day. we..did not get thru.
lucky for us, we also requested our dreams'girl to get us on..& she did!
there's a rumor of it being overbooked...so the day when the final payments
are due will be very intetesting. * we got our fingers crossed, that we won't
be bump..but you never know...[our roms are gty...so that's where the
bumping is most likely to occurr...we also have 2 rooms...for our college
boys. you guys should try one..there' sumpthin very different & fun ~
doing the cruise. castaway cay..is a once in a life experience..no matter
how many times you go! * the best way to book..is when they first
come out!

hey--you need a tag! a cute lil'pink one..actually my would be a better
matched. :)

thanks goddness~ utah m., posted..i was begining to worry too, and
was afraid, :scared: ..there were going to be a few heart atttacks...

:coffee: ..i think the way she sneak "on", was sooo :lmao:

watching alot of national geo..., it kills me ..how much we gained knowledge,
and then "forget" all about its application...refernce how the moon was
"made"...where's our common sense....:confused3 . i don't mean to be
intrusive or over "beaRING'...[GROWL], buttie, we need our family values and
"learned" application from generation to generation....instead of learning from
scratch every day  !...most dangerous people on earth [besides
terrorists,-to me-they nuthing but stupid people doing stupid crap!] ...

but the group we most likely will have to deal with ?..are teenagers!
they lack knowledge of a lack of knowledge..regharding no family values +
guns..* if anyone ever pulls a gun on you...{ which i hope never happens}
...MOVE!..its is very diffcult to shot a moving target! * some things really
bothers me..& one of the worst..was that newly high school grad, geting
kidnapped and killed..."people needs to start looking out for one & another.

our society has alot holes..in our education system...esp., teaching mental
health..and the extended family being disolved...you would be surprised
how much i can teach regarding mental health principles...that are very
functional and goes a long way toward finding happiness...however, the
reality "are" = things that you already know to be true, but just needing
a lil'reminders. disney versus the hoodlums..teenagers.....ha! spitting is
assault...and limit setting is the interventions + corrective actions..however,
attacked me, and i used defensive tatics..that are not nearly as "forgiving".

..i am always watching..even in disney....epcot, 2006 [after our 11-dayer
cruise lex..:yay: ]....by my experiences..i saw that guy going out of his way
to run over my wife...so i just cut him off..but he kept coming..."we hit
hard"..and he flew to the ground...but he run off..boy! was i going to give
him one of my best verbal interevention......i think he must been one in
group,,that was going under the barrier over at crush..that's my wife
blew the whistle on. today society....we need to start teaching our youth
better coping skills. oh, as for the moon existance....God..has put together
many blueprints~ by resorting to a system approach...*very functional in
developing support and alternatives for coping with changes in the
environment.....the moon, served many lifeforms on earth.making it
a necessary part of our lives..so when i thought about the way God set
up things on earth..could explained it extending to the moon? ..magnetic
fields and elements copounds....fitting into a mold. i won't bore [i hope]
,,wxcept to express my "awe"..in the amazing type of processing used
by God..to give mankind 's alternative life forms to better his standards
of life..if he choses???? make no mistake ..it seem to me, the more aware i
become, the more mankind is becoming "full" of himself..and missing out,
on the grace of miracles. * iam not making any connections to relegions.
if one really look..they're tied up with covering up..to me, that gets
in the way, sometimes..of what we need. then again...those crazy nuns
may have influnced me..in the wrong ways.

ever wonder why planets are shaped into balls? big bang...bull! iam
hunger..where's the alpha...see? why the bulls are alwys following
the cows around....:rolleyes1 , bulls don't live on chocolate milk along.

....sure glad it was minnie moo, bringing up the sneezy part-
[i almost forgoten ..that part. hey! all you guys have "green" ones,
i need to ditch the pink one for an more "pasture" coloring...like
green...see? it would give my lil'grumpy man a more pixiedust:

look...like christmas! :yay: ..me like christmas..even in july! :thumbsup2

We're back! It was slightly cloudy up until the time we decided to leave. But I still got good sun.

Moo - I can send you some shells. ;) And sharks teeth too. The beaches here are so shelly that you cut your feet.

When do you leave for your trip?

We're off to dinner with my sister and her DH. Have a goog evening!

castaway cay..is a once in a life experience..no matter
how many times you go! * the best way to book..is when they first
come out!
Thanks for the info, Lil G! We went on a cruise for our honeymoon. Just got married near Cocoa Beach and drove straight to the ship. Anyway...it was a Premier Cruise which was then the "official cruise line of Walt Disney World". We went to an island...they said that scenes from Gilligan's Island were filmed there. Anyway, we went snorkling there and it was beautiful. Do you think it could be the same island?

DH is talking cruise again...I think to avoid the possibility of going to Disney again next year. BUT if we went on a Disney cruise then we'd all be happy. :)

And I agree with all that stuff about people not learning from experience and the state of the teens these days. I too am constantly amazing by the way God put everything together in such perfect detail. They didn't mention God on National Geographic did they?

Well, I just got some distressing news!

My DD informed me she is going on a walk-thru of a rental house tomorrow, with one of her HS friends and her hubby. She is moving OUT!!!!!!!!!

We will be empty nesters!:scared1:

MommyP, we are planning to leave on the 4th, but I am thinking about trying to talk my hubby into breaking up the drive and leaving the evening of the 3rd. We have to drop the dog at the kennel between 4 and 6 that day.

I have picked up sharks teeth at the beach in Florida before!
shark.gif

My Grandma LOVED to beachcomb. We went to visit her SIL and went to the beach in Venice, FL or thereabouts when I was young. I still remember that part of the trip vividly - a bunch old guys on the beach sifting sand through large mesh screens to find the sharks teeth! We just picked up the ones we saw lying in the sand.

Don't stress - it's not so bad, Marita!!! I'm thinking that your DD might find that she doesn't like sharing a house with a married couple and will want to move back in. . .

Melinda, I'd faint if my DH suggested a Disney cruise!!! He will not go on any cruise, dang it! Neither will my DD. I just have to find a friend who is interested in going on one.

Cel - I watched your Numa Numa guy video - pretty funny! I also watched the animated videos of him and liked those too :rotfl:

. But haven't seen the commercials. Have you seen the Dibs commercial where the guy falls in a big vat of Twinkies??
I see your point. Don't look at the ultrasound! Will you want to know if it's twins again? :) :)

You know when I went for my first ultrasound with DS, (when they did the OMG inside ultrasound) I was watching the screen and I asked why it said AMA on the screen next to my name. Answer=Advanced Maternal Age. :sad2:

AMA is American Medical Association. Duh!

I have missed the Dibs commercial. Possibly because I don't even know what Dibs is... an ice cream place?

Not having twins this time. I knew before the ultrasound (had one at my first appointment at 8 wks) because with twins I am completely and utterly and constantly sick. I had some morning sickness but not the overwhelming kind that (for me) comes with two babies. However I (and my dr!) did want to be sure! One little jellybean. I love my girls but one baby at a time is ever so much easier! I highly reccomend it. ;)

MommyP- I get level II ultrasounds which are long and detailed. I had one with the twins because all of the blood work tests are not accurate for two babies and then they discovered the cleft. Now I get at least one with every pregnancy to check for birth defects. I think I am going to ask them not to tell me but I am going to watch and see.

Moo - We go to venice sometimes to Casperson Beach. It's really nice with free parking. But it is a little farther than to go south. Plus the sand is salt and pepper and gets really hot. But finding sharks teeth is so much fun!

HI guys. The dis is acting weird, but I thought I'd try one more time!

In New Mexico now. It's been busy, but lots of fun. Miss all of y'all. I'll stop in later!

That's cool! I wonder if it is the same beach I went to so many years ago?!

Did you have a wedding or something to go to today? I picked my friend and her daughter up from the airport this evening - they were pretty happy to be back in Michigan where it is MUCH cooler than in Florida today ;)

After that, I went to see Ratatouille with my family - pretty cute!!! They showed a preview for the Underdog movie, Undie.

HI, BN!!! Sorry the DIS was acting up. It looks like it was pretty s-l-o-w here tonight. Hope your trip is going well and that you'll stop back in tomorrow :)

AMA is American Medical Association. Duh!
Yep....that's what I was hoping the ultrasound tech would say but no. It really as Advanced Maternal Age. In fact, it was on account of my AMA that they were able to get my insurance to pay for the second u/s that determined the sex. But frankly I was just a nervous wreck during the entire pregnancy...afraid something was wrong. DS was very active in utero and then one day there was a seizure-type move and then nothing. I called the doctor, they sent me up for a u/s and there he was, upside down and sleeping comfortable. He had done a full flip in one move....which if you knew him....you'd know is typical.

Hope you're having fun! :wave2:

The saddest words in the English language....

There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period.

Melinda!

I'm awake! I'm awake!
Besides being an AMA, I was also high-risk. For both of ours,
I went every two weeks to week 26,then weekly. I was a wreck ,but they are so totally worth it!

Off to get my butt kicked at trivia,or kick some myself:)

How old do you have to be to get designated as AMA?

Hi all!
Hi BN! Hope you're having fun.

Twinks - dibs (I think) are little bits of ice cream covered in chocolate? I think? They sell them in the grocery.

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting ready for church and killing time while the three of us (not any kids this time :sad2: )

It's me and Amber and her sister, Alli....BUT Amber's been misisng Jeanie like CRAZY!!!!

This computer at the hotel, does NOT like the disboards!!! Every time I try to make a post, it logs me back out.:confused3

Hope y'all are doing well. Have a goog Sunday. dd is at the rodeo arena practicing this morning. The boys want to go swimming, so I might be in the pool, if you need me.

C ya.

 --where oh, where are the lil'cows mooing?

around?..near minnesota...?...cnn reporting on some very
naughty cows..."moo~manic".....lead by a steer called "wally".

..trouble in the heartland.... ....distrubing the neighbors
with some leud but loud..mooing....holy cow!!! , what's the
neighborhood coming toooo , minnie ?

* so ironic...there's local prison system...that raised their own
cows on a farm...its been a "family runnning joke"..for years...
cows braking out..runnning wild...mooning the whole place...
sorry, i gotto share this tid bit with my lil'misss ..she'll get a
kick out of it..spots & all.

cococa beach? ...i used to lived there for 2 years...wowers, that
place....sure have changed since the mid-70's. where? "at"..did
you actually get marry?....down the road....there used to be a place
we called "topical drive", beautful homes behind ...a beautiful-scenic
lake..i think it was called "banna lake." was you on the beach?

dcl, its a great vacation..., i think you 'll never regret it. planning?
our first one, my wife did it all.....& we took the whole family...,
[i wasn't sold on the idea]....so our "planning" was very little...however,
it was one of our best vacation ever. i think..it best not to have
everything planned out because some of the best things are..the surprises.
& the things you & your family will discover will be pretty neat, pixiedust:

our vacations? are the times , we spend validating- the things we forget
during day to day living..we call them a "time out"! sooo we sorta
let everyone..pick and chose. *our boys, have disapear...for the entire
cruise..except.. for "family-dinners." if things don't go as planned, seek
out supportative cast members..and :mickeyjum ,for one of a
kind ..moments in time. that can only be found on the magic or wonder.
like -palo~ who would thought ,we be eating right beside susan egan
& her husband? but like always...it's the pixie dust falling on our children,
that we... the most. jordan..loves the the ":tink: ", ducky wiliams
made for her....but one of the biggest surprises...were the characters
drawn by our servers.

it's good to be alive!!!...my views- i feel compel to express..make up my
feeling to influence the world..for a positive outcome!..teens..not possessing
insights.....& the recent tradegeries...are so "preventable"....that its
heartbreaking....* my interest? should be similar to all others, in giving
a future to the next generation. ha! nat. geo...reflect a scientific view
on life development..without pausing to "see" how these systems were
set up....scientists ...to me..are people with a lil'knowledge & inflated egos
from discovering just a few life secrets...sorry iam not more impressed
with some of their scirentific theories.

your comment reference to a living GOD..encouraged me o do a lil'reflecting
on my own belief system...for what's it worth, here how iam operating:

*GOD TO ME, is a lving energy force beyond our imaginations~ but can
be found, if we are pointing/following the right directions.."living on earth",
is not exactly the same as living in heaven..or existing outside another
boundary..ok?..how did i come to believe in GOD?...#1., faith 2. family
values, # 3 the bible--it is truly--the highest level of obtainable insights
for any individual life form to grasp..it can be "willed" into whatever
life forms chose to process it....[ menaing, i like it! & i learn something
new every day]. #4., the daily interacting ,where miracles are happening
all around us...( much like the earth rotating around the sun, mankind is
being acted on by God's creating self....* however, i don't care what these
terrorists pro-claimed...to killed life in thename of GOD... is an autism in its
most evil form. & i don't think it will be excused.) & i know, i have much
to be thankful....as i gained the ability to reminisce the things i overlooked.

....#5., addressing the field of sciences..is within my observations skills
to recognized reality....& process its true meaning. i would suggest more
caution how we elevated our egos..and take credit for things that we only
discovered..not created...so , with that in mind [ ] sneaky?
....here's my feeling over the big bang, and other misconceptions...* the
very element of producing body functions [to sustain life forces]...came
from a process requiring thinking instead of an "occurrance". so basic &
common sense..that i have no doubts regardless how many other types
of thinking, i may get wrong.

so you understand the feeling i am expressing...here's a lil' demo using this
theory....paint in a can...i am predicting the results will always produced
the same effect , if one turn the cans upside....however, to get the results
of ..let's say...the mona lisa..requires "thinking"..to add just the right
amounts & combinations to produced the desired results....& that's where
GOD..came into the picture....organzing the basic elments into a variety of
life form..think about this...al we needed was our brains tissues to meet
only our physical need ..for our existance..instead,we were given much
more to question and explore way beyond our physical needs. again, the
more knowledge i gained..the more iam able to reminisce & appricate
[ ] the miracles that making up my life tymes...:yay:

..as for this...just common sense,- things everyone can "see".. & i
hope are encourage toward all the miracles filling up the mooovers,
here.

time mag. did a special issues..jan. 05, "mind & body"..the science of
happiness....seeking happness? nothing new there, as the primary purpose
of the bible = pointing us in that direction.....in it they asked, does
GOD want us o be happy? ....why is there was a man named walt disney?
and so many, many miracles..in all our lives. i know, i sure  feeling
happy..somthing iam looking for every day..but i don't need no fancy
device..where to find it...in our families & the joys of doing things to
produced positive outcomes...can you tell? iam really happy today..and
where iam at in life...pixiedust: , plain and simple.

:sail:
woowsers! look @ me blowing..well, iam an old man...& i have no fears
sharing my true feelings....* problems areas i see for those trying to
reach adulthood..learning the diffeernces between being selfish &
self realization..and really!..if one desire to improved the world..work on
improving oneself...and being happy around others..is a good start , per
my opinions...where';s my lil miss...iam going to give her a lil~:love2:

Lil G....You are a regular philosopher today! I agree on all counts about God being the artist. Very well said.

It's so clear what the source of your happiness is...your family. Lil Miss is lucky to have a sweet guy like you.

RE: Cocoa Beach! You lived there? Well, we stayed at the Hilton for 2 nights and then drove to the court house on that Monday and the court house sent us to a lady in Merritt Island who marries people in her home.

We made an appointment and she had many choices of ceremonies laid out on the table. We picked one and she walked us out to her backyard pool and married us right then and there. My mother's still not sure it was legal but it was 18 years ago so it's certainly common law by now.

Anyway, we drove straight to the cruise ship and we got to be in the "show" that night on the ship which was "The Newlywed Game"! They were looking for the most recenty married couple and althoughly many of the couples had been married the Saturday before, we were the only ones who had gotten married that day. Long story short....we won! They gave us something corny like a garmet bag or something. Shipboard credit woulda been nice.

Anyway, the cruise was very nice...lotsa good food....snorkeling...shopping in Nausau. Good times. I'd love to go again sometime.

Hardest thing I ever did? Drive to my mother's house when we got back to tell her I was married!
