I have officially read part of the following people's TR's: Nebo's, Wendy's, Twinks, and MommyP's. I forgot that I read two other people's from a different thread I post on, but one of those is not here on the dis. You have to click on it, and go to a separate website. Guess he (goofydad) didn't want to be confined to dis regulatations.


apparently, there are others that I have been told are "must reads". Zzub is one. anybody else?

My favorites are Utah's, Twinkie's and Mel HappyHaunts.
DisUncle's is funny, but he disappeared and never finished it.

DisUnc goes looooooong in between posts. But he's really good.

The one right now by Mr. The King (who is female!) is soo funny! It involves all the elements for a great story: Maxi pads stuck to sunglasses, vagisil used as orajel, kids afraid of all rides, April crowds, CAT fights during Spectro, etc.

I was going to stay and wait for the car but they said it would take 2-3 hours. So they shuttled me home. The kids were happy they didn't have to wait. Me too.

Poor Hannah has to entertain herself while waiting for her turn at swimming and then tonight at baseball.

I need to go check out that Mr King trip report. I have been way behind on them.

Hey kids-

to those who wondered where I've been... (My mom isn't feeling well. We just came from the doctor and I'm home for the afternoon, catching up on things here. I've been running her meals to her and hanging out,bugging her( what I do best!). She won't stay with us- thinks she's a bother( more trouble than my running back and forth a buncha times?!!?!?!?!?!? ) . MOMS! what are we going to do with them? I love her and will do anything in the world for her. I just wish she could see how much easier it would be here!
She's having a test in the am and then a late morning appointment with a specialist for another problem.I'll go over with her dinner tonight and hang out for a while. I'm catching up on laundry here and emails.
Thanks to those who have missed my presence .
I've had a lot on my mind as reflected by my trivia scores

Amen. DH and I are both pack rats to some extent. TG I don't have to move any time soon.

We are back to swimming today, neither passed level 3 or 6. I only have them signed up for one more week since Nicholas goes to baseball camp next week.

Awwww, sorry to hear the kidlets didn't pass. Maybe next week will be the charm!

Sorry to hear your mom is under the weather, poly. I'm sure she is grateful to have you with her

A coworker friend of mine has been with her mom since early last week for A surgery and she ended up having two heart attacks and needing a second surgery as a result while in the hospital. Prayers would be appreciated for that family. I also work with my friend's DH and he went to be with her and her family on Friday. He won't be back to work until at least Wednesday. We are all on the same project team, so I work with them both on a daily basis. It feels like a big hole in my work life with both of them away for something other than a vacation.

Thanks everyone for all the TR links. I haven't read any TRs faithfully since Kay's ended. Maybe I'll go take a look at them and see if I can get a Disney fix

Yep, I mentioned your trip story. Think I need to go put in a vote for you on the favorite trip report list!

We have been having cooler weather here the last few days too. It is SO much nicer. A quick shower just moved through, but I doubt that it was enough to green up the lawns.

The Schwans guy showed up just after the rain, so we're all stocked up on groceries. I just tried the chocolate frozen yogurt with brownie bites. Yummmmmmm . . . and it is even reduced fat!

That's about what ours is for 3800 sq. ft. home running the central air non stop. That's crazy! Are your neighbors running extension cords from your house to theirs? Sheesh!

Thanks, Uma. It really helps that the pain from my pinched nerve is finally diminishing. It was truly a pain in the patoot!

I have actually reached the point where I prefer frozen yogurt. I can't get the kind I really like any more - Kemp's chocolate almond frozen yogurt, but the Schwans stuff is purty goog. I'm glad I'm not lactose intolerant. But there are a lot of sorbets that are quite goog these days.

I was quoting the origins of Marita's "But I am not bitter, honestly" tag. I have no clue about the origins of her most recent tag. It's always interesting seeing the original context of someon'e tag.

As for me? I will probably remain tagless for the remainder of my (un)natural life.
