MommyP- So sorry about the kids! That is sooo exhausting even when you are not pregnant. I wish I could come over with clean sheets, new puzzles, gatoraid, and a case of lysol. Maybe Lex could pick me up in her new station wagon? And if you forgot your 8th anniversary again does that mean it is really your 9th?

Cel- I don't know WHY they call me Nellie. Ask Utah. She started it. Maybe revenge for outing her as Gwen Stefani? Maybe she thinks I am a stuck up, spoiled rotten know it all? I do have to say that Nancy (the cousins or something the olsen's adopted in the tv show to add fresh kids) was worse than Nellie.

Lil G- I have always wondered what one does on a cruise... besides eat... and wear a bathing suit. Thanks for the description. It was wonderfu!!!!! Growing up we didn't play cowboys and indians but a similar game we called "cops & robbers"... I was always a robber. This involved climbing fences, dodging all grown ups and my favorite activity- nosing around the partially built houses in the neighborhood. That is why I am so good as a crime solving, crime fighting legal beagle! I know how to think like a bad guy.

Twinkie - We forgot our 7 year last year. Didn't even know it was that day until my Mom called and said, "Happy Anniversary". That's pretty bad.


We just aren't thinking about ourselves around this time since Jeremiah's birthday was just on Sunday. We remember him and forget ourselves. Better than forgetting him.

We rescheluled our appointment for Monday.

Some people are so sweet, but really have no clue what the heck is going on.
Bless her heart.
She really is sweet and is all in a panic because she thinks she can't get her cash to balance. And she wanted to leave early to go on vacation.
So this is what she said:
"there is a remit that I did receive but it is so confusing it is showing a negative -5.39 but when you look on my cash detail it is showing a pmt of 3720.07 and a take back of 3725.46."

So I sent back to her:

Heh.
I really do like her. I'm gonna call her in a few and tell her to calm down that she's making it harder than it is. I just won't put that in email.

Twinkie had given a clue as to her real life first name and said it was a character on Little House. So I pretended to guess....Nellie? NO!!! someone else guessed and I corrected them saying "it's Nellie" or something like that. Yeah, that's how it went down.

Kay- I almost missed your post on your inlaws. UGH! I wish I could have seen your face when she announced they were staying. I bet you hid your surprise/horror very well. And how is Tornado the wonder-kitty?

I'm sure I looked shocked, but hopefully not horrified. I enjoy them in small doses. It's just so awkward having people in the house, especially a small house. They pretty much have to turn in when we do or they'll keep us awake and we need to get up early to work. Then, since our master bath hasn't been completed, we have to actually put on a robe or something to go to the bathroom. Of course, we could skip that and if we ran into them in the midlle of the night they might be so embarrassed they'd never ask to stay over again!

Tornado is fine, and we appreciate him more than ever. Last night he was running, diving and attacking a pile of tissue paper, then surfing across the hardwood floors on it, looking all wild-eyed. It was a riot to watch. He is such a nut. He went out at 8:00 AM today for his three hour morning adventure but is back now and has filed himself in the plastic bin on my desk.

OLD! This will be our 10th anniversary in November, and Lowell is husband # 3. If # 1 had lived, we would be married 35 years in September. Now THAT is enough to make a person feel old.

I posted this an hour ago on the busget boards and no one responded! argh. so then I posted it in themepark strategies. and now I'm posting it here.

I'm getting ready to buy my tickets for September and I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
There are two of us (plus one child under 3) and we are staying off site for a total of 11 or 12 nights. We plan on doing MNSSHP one night.

Here are my plans:
Buy an AP voucher through Disney for 1 adult: 462.21
Buy one adult 10 day MYW at undercover tourist: 226.95
Buy 2 adult MNSSHP tickets at full price : 97.88

We can't buy discounted MNSSHP because we're going to the party on September 28th and I don't think discounts are offered on this day. I'm getting one AP to save us on parking and since we'll be taking another trip later in the year. The dining experience card does not make a lot of sense for this trip since we're only eating at a few table service restaurants.
Is there anything I'm missing?
Any way to get a better discount through someone else?
Should I buy before August to avoid a potential price increase?

Back from swimming and the library.

Had the kids pack their own bags. They went with clothes over there bath suit. Can you guess what Hannah forgot.....underwear of course. She was wearing a skirt too.

Thanks for all the welcome backs.

Our weekend went well. Never realized how much we needed this family time. The grandparents loved having the kids all weekend too. We went to a campground on Sunday night. Had the best view for fireworks from our campsite. It looked out over the lake we could see Tornonto and all the places having fireworks.

Only mishap this weekend was when Nicholas hit me in the head with a rock. He was trying to skip rocks on the beach and he was behind me. Good thing he didn't have a huge rock.

Marita-- nice insight to how you get to your office. How nice you can go in the front door in Sept. And you are going to be an empty nester too. When does she move out?

Poly -- had another party, your kids are so good at clean up. I need to get my kids to day that now with toys.

Moo --did your dd find a car yet? You leave tomorrow?

Almost forgot to say I thought of Pumba when were at the campsite.

We went to the store and got a huge ice cream cone. All I could think of was Pumba could only have a dixie cup of it. They must have gave us a quart of ice cream on one cone. I don't know how they got it to stay there.

NAB, it's slow this week, thank goodness. After the last couple weeks of 12 hour days, slow is good. But yes, I'm getting a lot of work done. No company here.

Sorry to hear you got beaned by the rock. No nasty lumps, I hope? Just remember, if you forget anything, or behave strangely at all this week, you have an excuse!
