what why do you gotta volunteer me to dog sit:confused3 esp on the dis ? now i can't say no because millions of my dis fans:laughing: will not like me and i will be hated  :scared1: don't you know i will not be able to just keep them in a dog run they will have to play with daizie and roam through my house like a bull in a china shop(well actuuuuuaaaallyyy myth busters :rotfl: )
okay i can and will puppy sit for you;) (not like i would say no anyway i am a dog lover.....buttttt,,, you may have to walk them and stuff after,, because they will get spoiled at my house.;) ;)

awww Misty - arent you the bestest - I have 2 pigs that need a sitter.. :rolleyes1

Holy Pschology Batman I mean Lil' G - that is some thought!! I'll have to get back to you...

altho as far as hormones, and all, I should add that having my own personal summer 20 times a day was more than annoying into the 2nd week...

I can now report - BLACK COHOSH works wonders Ladies, keep it in mind, it takes a week to get in the system, but i'm sweat free like for 3 or 4 days!! :yay:

Guess what??? WHAT? DD and I went shopping - I wanted her to pick out a lap blanket for the plane ride (our torturous plane trip to end all plane trips she missed the air sick bag and used her blankie - so now she doesnt want to take any special lap fleece!! ) BUT she was not yelling. So then I discussed plans, and ideas!!

I have to thank Melinda and Dance for letting my dd talk to your dd's!! (or babysit as in the case of Aries and dance!)

I think I timed the telling right - 1 week to freak out and scream at me, one week to pack!

GOOG MORNING!

I so hope it is a new and better day today for all concerned. :grouphug:

Moo....So sorry about your sweet puppy. They're almost like your kids when they get to be that age. My almost 16-yr old terrier is nearing the Rainbow Bridge too. She's a potty accident waiting to happen.

Thanks, Melinda. I am definitely doing better today! Poor Teddy was having potty accidents on a daily basis in his crate and often in the house. I am not missing all the cleaning up.

We went to a local parade today and there were tons of doggies in it, including a Weimeraner rescue group. Cute, but not a breed that I would be interested in having. I got a little ver klempt after seeing a couple corgis in the parade. Their mamas had them wearing little t-shirts. It was pretty funny. It was PERFECT parade weather.

THANKS for the PM, Uma. So glad Misty is watching your dogs. Yikes on the cat food and hearing aid incidents :scared1:

Lil G, I think being outside for a few hours did me some good! Thanks for the pointers. Now I just need a bowl of that chocolate ice cream . . .

Sandy and Uma, sorry you missed the posts about the pirate PJ flag being our chat signal!!! I sent Uma the address. Let me know if you need it, Sandy. BTW, I was so relieved to hear that your DD is coming around about the trip. MOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!

:yay: Yay, Pumba!!!!!! We'll be doing the single digit dance tomorrow! Let us know how your dinner goes.

We are having an early birthday dinner for my DD at my cousin's restaurant tomorrow :cake: She will be heading south on Monday.

Nab, guess what, I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!

Actually went out to Sports Authority. However, no crocs in my size. So I bought some Tevas, I heard good things about them too. Although I think I was in the men's section..... I wear size 9 1/2 normally, and ended up with a size 8!

Anyway, they are nothing fancy, black and white straps, but adjustable. We shall see how it goes......

Looks like it is going to storm here soon. The radio said it was in the 80's at 4pm, woohoo!! A couple of days forecast for 89 next week, so hopefully it won't be hot as heck for the meet.

I think I feel a nap coming on..........

Later, friends!

YAYYYY! I'm so glad she's starting to come around!

So she babysits while on vacation? :flower3:

Marita dh does chacros or Tevas - never crocs... we'll get you to drink the croc koolaid one day!!

Cheryl more :grouphug: Perfect weather here for sure!! Hope you have fun at the restaurant!

Uma you must've missed that pity post!! :rotfl: DD took a babysitting class thru the Red Cross at our Park District - she now wants kids to babysit!! (we dont live in a kid neighorhood, she's actualy one of the youngest!) I posted and Aries and Dance both offered up their DD - esp at the glow party (in the pool!) She now is thinking of planning something!! I said she could get a "reference" and she said "MOM, I dont need a reference - *I* have a certificate!" :lmao:

It'll give her something to do!!

:rotfl2: We're watching Travel Channel Disneyworld show - and they showed Keys to the Kingdom, dd says "can we do that tour?" etc... so now I've got to plan a tour!! :rotfl2:

and now dh is teasing "you're not going" "we can go on that tour -since you're not coming" DH stop that!! :rotfl2: (I told her kKT you have to be 16)

I think your fans are secretly hoping you'll say "HELK NO"...heh.

DONT let them in your house...ohhhhhh gosh.....they have the ability to get into the most interesting things. My father in law (who's on his way over to visit as we speak **heeeeelp meeeeee* ) They ate all the cat food and got a very VERY VERY bad case of instant pudding poop and hershey-squirted alllll over his house. I did warn him and he said I was being over protective of them (overprotective of dogs!) then one of them ATE his $6,000 hearing aid.....ahhhh, which WE replaced :scared: . Again, I say DONT let them in your house....Gee, I hope she sees that!

I DID ask Misty on the phone previous to her seeing it here...I didn't put her on the spot here on the dis as it looks....that would be really messed up. :flower3:
i was kidding about letting them inside (unless it is horrible weather ..) i just had to do the whole china shop thing and the bulls ..

HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!! Marita got some Tevas!

I have had goog luck wearing Teva sandals to the parks too!!!

Marita-- I am so proud of you !!!!! :cheer2: Your feet will thank you too!

Moo-- sounds like you had a nice day. We had a nice day here too. Wasn't as hot as yesterday. Never did see the rain. So the bird do do is still on my car.:sad2:

We took the kids to public skating. They start skating lessons tomorrow. Hannah loved it even when she fell on her butt. Nicholas wouldn't stay on the ice and complained the whole time. He is the type of person that thinks he should be able to do it right away or he will never learn.

And I must have been really grumpy because Hubby bring me home a present today.......I got my Dyson :woohoo:

MOOHOOO, Nab, a Dyson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3:

You will LOVE it  No nasty emptying or changing of bags, no trying to untie hair and whatever from rolllers, just pull the lever and it's DONE!:cheer2:

hey......guess who is plum tuckered out.........US that is who.......we went this morning and two hours later we were pulling up in front of her dorm.....we brought in her new computer and case......a new phone (cause the one I gave her was old and didnt work afterall, her sneakers for the barn, a roll of toilet paper in case they run out in the bathroom, a box of tissues, applesauce in little containers, three cans of fruit in flip top containers, a pkg of peanut butter crackers......she will do okey for a while. She has the meal plan but .....she has one class a a few mornings at 8 am....so a poptart is not going to cut it.....i thought some fruit and crackers to go.......
She was happy and so was I....we went to Oliver Garden and we all had that never ending pasta bowl......delicious......I was good and left half of it ......BUT I ate two of those scrumptious breadsticks.......so darn good....then we took her to walmart and burlington coat factory so she would know where all the good stores were.......We were going on the interstate when my phone begins to ring and its our granddaughter......she left the cd from her printer in our computer and she would probably need it to install in the new one...so we turned around and back we went.......it was only 94 degrees out then......her dorm has no ac an a fan that swivels back and forth......she was sweltering....
so that took 45 minutes going and turning around and coming back again......we got home .....got a gift for a 40th birthday party and then left again......soooooo much food and what a beautiful night for the party......it is just going below 90 degrees now......can you believe that.....

single numbers someone mentioned........YES YES YES.......can hardly wait....

Gosh, Pumba, now you make me feel like I need another nap!
You are such a great grandmother!

When I went out to go shoe shopping today, I got some MD's Big mac and fries on the way home. I ate the fries, but the big Mac is about to be "sensor reheated". Hope that works out ok. My only food today.

Pumba --you went to two of my favourite places. Olive Garden and Burlington Coat Factory. I love the kids clothes there. We don't have that store either.

How did you stop at two bread sticks. I could eat the whole basket myself, then I don't want my meal....:lmao:

I have to search though some picture now for Hannah. She is Star of the week and needs pictures of her family, and all her favourite things etc. That is going to take along time we have alot of pictures. The family one won't be so hard....She said the one by herself should be one from Disney.

Hannah's smile collection::santa: :wizard: ;) :goodvibes :cool1: :cutie: princess:   :shamrock: :tinker: :rose: pluto: pooh:

Marita - men's shoes are just fine if the fit (I usually buy men's). You can't tell the difference with Tevas anyway!

Marita-- I am so proud of you !!!!! :cheer2: Your feet will thank you too!

Was Nicholas t least in a better mood after finding his DS?
