Celery- you look very cute! And the skirt is adorable too. Great job. I vote for Snow White too.... probably because you are so sweet and innocent. Or maybe it is the hairdo.

Nab- Sorry about the pokemess. As much as you would like for your kids to learn a lesson it always is painful when they actually do...

Tink said "High school musical on ice? What WILL they think of next"

hmmm... maybe high school musical on drugs? kind of like that old commercial about the eggs in the frying pan

DTD- Have a great trip! Report back. Or call for bail. We will be here waiting.

PirateBallerina- Yes! by all means "break" the thermostat. Down comforters in September?!:sad2:

It is currently 1st and 10, 3rd quarter, 6 ish minutes to go. Do you know where your babynurse is?

sweet and innocent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao: you need to go "rest" with Utah!

night y'all!

I had a wIerd night. :sad2: And now I'm freezing cold. I have already had 2 conversations with my roommates about the air conditioning. It's a them against me thing because they think it's perfect in here and I am so so cold. I am wearing a hooded sweatshirt and I'm wrapped in my down comforter while trying to get ready. They keep the thermostat on 65. I feel like I'm living in a refrigerator. Just thought I'd get some complaints in there so as to not Pollyanna everyone out. ;)
I like it to be refrigeraterish too, Peej. But then, I have lots of extra padding. And as Sandy calls it, my own personal summer (ahem, hot flashes) occasionally :scared:

So, Moo, the Dis is supposed to have this "subscribe to this thread" feature, I click on tools, click on subscribe...

Decide to run over here to post before Melinda wakes up!! :rotfl2:

Its not saved to my CP (I have the maelstrom thread saved :rotfl2: should I post on it??? Ok, fine, where is Moovin thread?... I go page by page, (had to read about the teacher threads - I also dont wipe toushes!) oops, forgot what I was looking for... page 5 i decide to check the date... *sigh... by now Melinda must've bumped the thread beyond my reach!! :rotfl2:
Hmmmmm . . . it still seems to me like you should be able to add the thread to your Internet favorites :confused3 At least if you've posted, you should be able to just go down the page on the CB and find us relatively easily. I never purposefully subscribe, I just bookmark.

I did laundry after school because one got paint on a white skirt from painting with apples and one spilled his lunch on his shirt. That is all fine. Get those stains out but see one on his shorts.....I say to him what did you sit in. This is after I dried them and were folding them. I put my hand in the pocket and what do I find.....

a pack of Pokeman Cards.

Son has been crying ever since. They were all his good cards, cards his friends wanted to buy but he wouldn't sell them.

I do not check pockets. All loose change is mine I find in the washer I tell them that all the time. Now I feel bad. They are a mess and the the fronts are peeling off them. I'm just glad they weren't his baseball cards.
Oh, poor Nicholas! I am not much of a pocket checker either. BUT, I have learned to wash my hubby's clothes separately from mine ever since an ink pen of his went through the wash.

All laundry money is fair game . . . it's the LAW!!!

:woohoo: MOO HOO to DTD on getting packed up and to Pumba and Cel on only 12 days!!!

Cute skirt, Cel - goog job!

Twink, I don't think I own any yellow clothes either. Although I did have this yelow dress I liked when I was in high school.

:wave2: Howdy to E, Uma, Lil G, Melinda, Dre, Tammy, Marita, MommyP, Caf, poly  and our occasional posters (Kay, Lil Blue, Undie, B . . .)

Moo HOOty to Moo's daughter coming home this weekene!

Twinkie, I wore a yellow blouse today too!

Yay to DTD for going so soon.

Pumba, I almost sent the helicopters out for you. You have a great granddaughter. PM one of us if you want to join us for a meet, ok? There us multiple opportunities

Celery, cute skirt, and cute hair! I need a haircut and a dye job before the meet!

I tried on some Crocs at a Disney store today, I am not convinced...... Besides, they did not have black ones. I have to go shopping :scared1:

NAB, dang about the card, poor Nicolas!

Lil G, you are a hoot to read, when I can figure out what you are saying, LOL :hippie:
Hi to everyone else!

I am kind of dragging tonight, sorry.

Sandy-- that's a lot of glasses. Fifth grade... My son is fifth no thank you. I saw his class outside. They have a lot of loud boys in that classes.

OH NOOOO! I just told my boys what happened. They acted like he just got hit by a truck. As they walked off, shaking their heads, I heard a quiet, "Dude..." from Dallen. So? Is he gonna be in wdw too? Just asking for no particular reason. :cool2:

I do NOT check pockets either, which explains my cell-phone incident a couple months ago. And the many paychecks and paper money and theatre tickets from early in my marriage. DH's only do that 10 times before they learn to clean out their pockets... :sad2:

Marita, you definitely need to go somewhere to try on the Mary Jane style of Crocs. You are so skinny that I'm sure all of the regular ones will be too wide for your feet.

Sorry you're dragging.

I really do not want to go to work tomorrow. But my DD needs to take her car in for repair, so at least she'll be busy for part of the day.

Pumba, ditto on Marita's comments about having you join us for a meet.

TGIF, PEOPLE! :cool1:

This has been the longest short week evah!

DS lost one of his two front teeth yesterday at school. (Yep...Just in time for our portrait session at the GF.) The minute he walked out the door at school he took the tooth out of the plastic bag. I BEGGED him to put it back in for fear he would drop/lose said tooth. I hate always being right.

Anyway, we wrote a note to the tooth fairy and then DH forgot to do the tooth fairy thing so I jumped up and ran around the house looking for cash at 4am. Been WIDE awake ever since. :yay: :yay: :yay:

Marita....The crocs are comfy like houseshoes! Get them!

Twinkie
....I need an advance schedule if I am to wear the color of the day! Need to make sure my colors are clean. Guess what? DS was King of the Day this week! So they get him up in front of the class and the kids interview him and then they all draw a picture and he gets to take the folder home with all the pictures. One was titled "DS has six girlfriends". I look at DS....do you have six girlfriends. "Yep".....although he would not disclose their names.

NAB
....NOT THE POKEMAN CARDS!!! Were they the shiny ones??? What a bummer! I don't check pockets either. Every few years I wash/dry an ink pen and ruin an entire load. :sad2:

CEL! I love your skirt! Toille is my fave! You are brilliant

EVERYBODY ELSE
.....:wave2:

Utah - that is so sweet with your boys reaction, they do know the importance of loss!!

Nab - I also washed a variety of things... even a frog once... it was tiny, and it was dead... BUT STILL - NO frogs in pockets... (and it was DD!! :rotfl: ) I've washed a pen or two... and I've made at least $12 over the course of 30 years of doing laundry!! :cool1: I do say "PAYDAY" when I find any coins... or dollar bills... :rolleyes1 When your teenage son forgets and you wash his money... he'll say.."mom, can I borrow 5 bucks? I thought I had 5bucks, must've lost it" :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Cheryl I have so many threads bookmarked I cant find my bookmarked ones, if the Dis went back to asking me if I'd like to "replace" instead of just piling on I'd feel better...

Maybe I think I"m becoming addicted... and I just dont want to admit it!! :rotfl:

I finally got dh to listen to my plans... now try to explain all the meets.. Peep Meet, Meep meet, Glow Meet.. DH :sad2: what? and I did tell him MOo's dh is going to the space center, should I plan a day like that for him???? Bless his heart he said he was looking forward to the plans we made that day!!! :goodvibes (you dont think its because he'll be the only guy there do you?? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: ) ah the stories we're going to have when we come back!! :rotfl2: (and before you spit your pepsi out from LOL - I think its about spending time with dd, I think he wants a table for just us 3... he mentioned something about taking dd and doing something with her, till I mentioned a special dessert.. :rolleyes1 LOL - I didnt want anyone to think badly of dh!! You'll have to see for yourself!! Oh and Moo I call you the Flint Michigan couple.. :thumbsup2 Dh is a Detroit boy!!)

Well, I did it, I beat Melinda in here too!! :rotfl2:

well, gee willakers... I cant get into some of my other sites!! It sure has been quiet around parts...

I'm still dealing with a drama queen of hysterical proportions!! She thinks I can leave her at home for ten days... alone! :sad2: either that or her dad will drive her to Disney!! :sad2:

:3dglasses I am sure he looks adorable even without the teeth and someday you will treasure having pictures of this "special" time.
 It is hard to be right.
 You are married to the tooth fairy???????? Please ask him why I got a dime per tooth and my little sister got a quarter?
 And yes I have BTDT on the early am cash search .... "oh look sweetie, the Tooth Fairy left you an arby's coupon!"

King of the Day! How sweet!:wizard: oh wait that came out wrong... how SAH-weet!:woohoo: I love that he is a gentleman pirate: and doesn't "kiss and tell" or "hold hands and tell" or asks "will you go with me and tell"

The color of the day is purple. One twinkie will wear her favorite skirt. I don't know about the other (they are still in bed!) Surely we own more purple clothes. :upsidedow Of course, pink is not a color on the list. We could wear pink for a week without doing the wash.

Sandy- about DD. As the mother of two five year old girls I am not giving any daughter drama advice as I am sure anything I say will come back to haunt me ten-fold. :rolleyes1

I woke up hungry. I ate. I am still hungry but I think I am going back to bed in hopes of getting another hour of sleep.

Goog morning, Sunshines!!

fri3.jpg

:dance3:

That's cute about your son, Lexi. We have a tooth chart at school. The kids get to write their name and the date up there when they lose a tooth. They're always so excited.

Go back to sleep, Twinkie, wish I could!

Eeyore.... :wave2:

Today is MY day to have a color theme!! Tomorrow is apparently Mary's birthday. How does anyone even know that? And apparently her color is blue. How does anyone even know THAT??? Well, anyway, since we don't have school tomorrow we're supposed to wear blue for Mary's birthday today. I am not so much Catholic but I'll play along for the kids sake. They would all be disappointed if I wasn't wearing blue so I think I'll dress like a smurf. Or maybe I'll just wear a normal amount of blue. :scratchin

Today is my half day! :cool1: Good thing, too. I have tons of errands to run and things to take care of. Have a good one, everyone.

Goog Moornin,
Gettin ready for work, then we hit the road. Just going through gettin page numbers for when I get back(bn's trippie, cel's pretrippie and here). Ready to load the car. Then we will get to Nashvegas and have to swap cars. But a much bigger vee-hick-le. Be back next week to answer any and all questions. Figure I'll get caught up on all this readin while EVERYBODY else is at the World not writing. :wave2:

Captain Jack and his jammies didn't keep ya warm enough? ;)

If Cpt. Jack had been here, I wouldn't have been cold...or...I'm stopping right there.;)

It is currently 1st and 10, 3rd quarter, 6 ish minutes to go. Do you know where your babynurse is?

Well MY babynurse was a gal named Danielle. I'm assuming she was at home.

p.s. How 'bout them Colts?:woohoo:
p.s.s. That shore was a gaggle of smilies you used in that post this morning.

DTD: You're almost there. Yay!!!

Good Morning Everybody. The childbirth class went off without a hitch. I even let out a few minutes early...for no particular reason.:rolleyes1

Goog Morning!

I am tired and thinking about going back to bed. lol! I need to do a little cleaning today. Thankfully only one load of laundry since I did 7 yesterday.

Here is a picture of me from a couple weeks ago.

And here is Kaleb and Chad. Chad was cleaning the truck and had a sweat rag over his shoulder so Kaleb went and found a rag for himself. It was so cute.

Morning All,

The Dis booted me out twice. And made my posts go poof.

Lexi -- they were the shiny ones. They were the ones that peeled the worst. He told me two were from our trip last summer to the world.

Nicholas ate his first tooth with his sandwich at school. Can tell he chews his food well.:lmao:

Sandy-- a frog in the pocket...:scared1: I am glad my kids don't like bugs and such. They would for sure be checking pockets after that.

P.J-- Love the morning pictures by the way. What a way to start the day.

Moo-- glad your dd is home and the day goes fast for you.

Twinkie-- I do own purple but my favourite colour is pink too.

Babynurse-- glad you got out earlier last night, what did you do with the extra time....:lmao:

Donald -- Have a Great Trip!!! Hope your work day goes by fast too!!!

Marita-- get a shopping woman. You are going to want to wear them in before hand.

Off to the post office to return a recalled toy from Mattel.

OH NOOOO! I just told my boys what happened. They acted like he just got hit by a truck. As they walked off, shaking their heads, I heard a quiet, "Dude..." from Dallen.

This is too cute and funny!
Poor nicholas.
And it's so adorable that utah's boys are sad for him.

I've had too much caffeine! what should I do? go get more! wooo!

umm.
I had lots of comments in my head.
but then they ran away.

ummm.
thanks lex!
have fun donald!
nab, I shore hope they don't recall the cheap disney toys I got at dollar tree. they were made in china. last time I checked, they weren't on the list.
but what if they have lead in them!

umm. lessee.

bn - go team! rah rah!
pj - I think light blue for mary symbolizes serenity and virginity.
not sure though.
not catholic either.

hrm.
other people?
twinks? i decided today is red day for me.
buy the crocs marita.
that is all I remember.
I'll post more scattered stuff laters.

Nab - It's too bad about his cards. I never check pockets either. Which is why in 8 years we've probably spent around $150 in Herpicine for Chad's cold sores. I'll find the empty tube in the dryer. One day I'll get a jar to keep in the laundry room for all the change. For now I put it in the boys jar. It's all Chad's anyway. ;) Jeremiah pulls the laundry out of the dryer for me all the time and sometimes he'll put it from the washer to the dryer. The other day he found a dollar bill. It was Chad's. I told Jeremiah he got to keep it since he was doing the laundry. lol

And

I always carry like that. Except Kaleb. Who I also carried in my arms, thighs, back and face. ;) I thought for sure he was a girl.

NAB Said:
Nicholas ate his first tooth with his sandwich at school. Can tell he chews his food well.
That is gross and scary. Did it come back out? lol

Who keeps their kids baby teeth?

Hi Celery. Lay off the caffeine!

I've finished all my cleaning chores, except the kitchen. I'm eating left over chicken cut up in small pieces mixed with iceburg lettuce and mayo. Plus lots of salt and pepper. Something I grew up on. Sounds weird, but it's really good.

I remembered one thing I was going to say! You are so adorable, MommyP! You don't look fat, just pregnant.

Well it took you long enough to get back here!!

Yeah. This week has been the week from hell. I am grumpy, tired, out of sorts and I just want to go to bed and pretend it never happened. :sad2:

How are all of you?
