JEALOUS!!!!!! Can I come with? I mean, it wasn't wIerd at all when my friend and I went to Disney Princesses on Ice, not sure why 20 something year olds at High School Musical would be any different!

Hope everyone had a goog day despite the lack of DIS. It was super hotT here again today. I am so done with summer weather. Bring on the fall. And winter even. I love fall and winter clothes.

My googness, it was really a slow-ish day around here what with the DIS acting up! I took a peek at the thread earlier this afternoon during a meeting

It was about 90 in my neck of the woods today. TG for AC. It is supposed to cool down in a few days.

Cel, to post a smilie, you can save it to your Photobucket account or you can just post it like any other picture by clicking on "Save Image As" then copying and pasting that address into the box after you click on the picture icon.

and I hate coming in LOL all by myself - I shut myself ou t of the goog stuff!! Shame on me, guess I'd better come out of the corner...

dd wants to know why I'm on the internet so much. I want to know why she watches so many reruns when I ask her to do her homework... power struggles. I lose at, because I wont play!!

wandering around the CB looking for the meeps is hazardous duty!! I ended up posting on a thread about shoplifting... that wasnt shoplifting.... not showing a receipt at Circuit City....

ok fine, so it happened to me at WalMart, only lucky for me they didnt hold my car hostage and call the cops... I would've shown my driver's license - I respect policeman way more than walmart stubborn clerks that watch me buy a heavy toaster oven, watch me put the receipt in my pocket, smile at me while I was paying for it, watch me struggle to carry it, and then politely demand to see my receipt1!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? YOU JUST SAW me put the receipt away!! No, I am not shoplifting, if you want to call the cops do so on your own time!!

I guess I lose my temper more than I realized... hmmmm...

anyway it turns out that thread has become a "red state" blue state issue!

I apparently lost my prescription glasses

And Lexi I cant go there and and say, give me my money back, cause I lost my glasses!
I searched the car today, no Luck!

And I dont have ton of glasses around to take in for testing.
So basically, I am SOO Luck!
I'll give it the weekend to try again to find things, but after that, I am telling them to look up the old prescription and frames I ordered. Get me another pair!
And you bet I will be very protective of them! And look at the incrisptions (sp) in the side.

Sandy, what browser do you use? I like Firefox/Mozilla because it allows you to easily bookmark your favorite Web sites/threads along the top of your screen. Then all I have to do to keep my place is delete the old bookmark and replace it with the new one!!!

Otherwise, if you use a different browser, you can probably add the thread to your favorites so it is easy to find.

Hi everybody,
I'm not there yet. Between working the fair and getting ready to go to the world, volleyball season snuck up on me. First home match was last Wednesday with a tourney all weekend. We lost that first match to the evil from the east(you know who you are, Lexi). So we're 6-1, having won two tourneys, the away one beating Indiana. So I got caught up last night and was going to post when I got interrupted and never got back. So I got up earlyish today and tried to log on, but well you know. So FINALLY, I'm here. But we leave in less than 48 hours. In fact, in 72 hours, wed'll be HoopdeDooing it. Gee, that sounds kinky.
Cel' so who is Andy Garcia? I always get an image of Andy Andy from Cheers when I hear his name.
Moo- My Mazilla is so slow. I use it some, but usually head back to IE. I don't think Vista likes Mazilla. I had it on my old Win98 HP and it worked great.
Lexi- I have contacts that have one prescription in the middle for distance and another around the rim for reading. They worked great at first and after 3 years are still better than any others I've had. But I actually read better without them.
Well, at 4:30 Friday I head to WDW to get things ready for all you end of the monthers. I promise to cause so much trouble that anything y'all do will seem minor. You're welcome.

I had a wIerd night. And now I'm freezing cold. I have already had 2 conversations with my roommates about the air conditioning. It's a them against me thing because they think it's perfect in here and I am so so cold. I am wearing a hooded sweatshirt and I'm wrapped in my down comforter while trying to get ready. They keep the thermostat on 65. I feel like I'm living in a refrigerator. Just thought I'd get some complaints in there so as to not Pollyanna everyone out.

I am an always cold person. I never leave the house without a jacket or a sweater. Even in the middle of July. I would like the thermostat on like 74. 65 is ridiculous.

Yes, Celery. The DIS was broke. For a LONG time. I posted over yonder though.

Why was the DIS broke anyway?

My sister is FINALLY closing on their house on Monday. I am so excited for her. Habitat is a complete joke though. That's what I've come to learn. It works out great if you make 10 dollars an hour. But, otherwise it's not cool to be ripped off like that. Their mortgage is 130,000, plus the $30,000 county loan program. That's 160,000 it took to build an all wood frame, mostly free labor, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1200 sq. ft. house. We're building our 2000+ sq. ft. 4, 2, with lots of extras for 156,000. Something is NOT right with habitat. So they tell them that they keep the electric on for 10 days after closing to give them time to have it changed to their name. BUT, they would prefer they change it right away. HAHA! Yeah right. I told her to take every bit of that 10 days since their house has been sitting done for 2 months now.

We started English yesterday. Today is a longer lesson, hope it goes well! I'm making Ethan sit in on it too. Figure I'll kill 3 birds with 1 stone.

F/S! I spent 20 years cookin at the Franklin Crackerbarrel. Bet we know lots of same folk. I post on Hilltopper Haven and 'evil to the east' is the semi-official designation for Big Blue. BTW, the v-ball match was one of the best I've seen. Teams evenly matched, but we blinked. I will be at the women's b'ball game in Lexi on Nov 30. After playin every season for years, your last coach(Mickey deMouse er Moss) refused to play us. The series is back on.
I think Best Buy put things on my puter that make lots of stuff harder. I can't download our chat room or Gamesville. Even when I turn my firewall off.
I am nearly packed and ready. Have to load the car tomorrow mornin, then work all day and leave at 4:30. Two of the guys will load their stuff while I work, then we meet the other in Nashvegas at my sis's house. Reload to her Explorer and head for WDW.

Sorry Lexi- I know you were waiting to coordinate your outfit. Today is YELLOW . Goldenchild and the little twinkies were up at the crack of dawn. However the child whose bus comes at 15 till the crack of dawn was not. So I have already been to junior high today.... pre-shower no less.


More Happy Helper news: so apparently the Happy Helper gets to take the attendance sheet/milk order to the office AND gets to pick a friend to go with (since one Kindergartener alone in halls is a bad idea) so the breakfast conversation (cinnamon toast for all the lurkers on diets) goes like this

Princess Twink: Hey Twinkerbell, next time you are Happy Helper will you pick me to go to the office with you?

Twinkerbell: Uhhhhh. No. You are supposed to pick a friend, NOT a sister. Duh.

Me: But a sister can be a friend.

Suzy Sunshine- Are you all rich???? Thermostat is 78 in the summer and 70 in the winter. Everyone should dress appropriately. Normally I am cold natured too but this working as an incubator in the summer thing.... well let's just say I have been setting the car A/C to 60.


Well I should do something productive- either or load up the car with small childen who all outgrew all their shoes over the long weekend

It is going to be a hot day today.

P.J.-- 65 is pretty cold. Mind you in the winter we are set at 68 in the house. In the summer 70-72. We to say if you cold put a sweater on.... Plus we always have a blanket on while watching TV.

Mommy P-- You have what we call here a split classes So far everyone is still happy with school. Now next week when the homework starts coming, I think it will be different story.

Marita-- I am like Lexi, my glasses are usually on my face or on my night stand. Did you check the top of your head, my brother does that all the time with his sunglasses.

Well off to run some errands......with no kids
