I've been thinking about your FB situation some more. Maybe, by some off the wall chance, did you turn off the viewing your own posts option? Hmmm, beyond that, I'm not sure. I'll try tinkering with my "stuff" and see what happens.

Goog Morning!

Boring weekend around here. Saturday Chad and the boys did yard work all day while I did housework(and read ) Sunday we were too lazy to get up earlier to get to church so we didn't. Instead we went grocery shopping, cooked together in the afternoon and then made it to the 5pm bible study, which just so happens to be about 12 blocks away.


Chad has school tonight. So we have a long day ahead of us around here. I think I will spend the afternoon hours sewing. I have a lot of sewing to do in just 5 months. Well less than that for my sister. I don't know how early they'll have her shower...

I am SO proud of myself for what I am doing with the cloth diapers I got from Wendy. After I get a few more put together I'll take some pictures for you guys and send one to Wendy. I feel so crafty and thrifty for taking something that most people would have thrown away and making them even more valuable. Wendy if you are reading this I LOVE all the diapers you sent NONE of mine are that stinking SOFT!!!

I finally gained 2 pounds. I hope this is a slow gaining process and not I'm suddenly going to gain all the weight I should have gained in the last month.

Marita - Are the flights typically not very full? I hope you get a whole row to yourself too.

The Amazing Race - Stupid move on the Mom/Son team. Nothing like being malicious...

Our highs are getting into the mid+ 80's this week. The lows are staying around 60 though, so hopefully we'll only have to turn on the AC mid-late afternoon and then can turn it off again once the sun starts to set. We have a whole house fan that sucks the air in through the windows and up into the attic. It really helps to cool the house down.

I checked my settings on FB, I dont even see that option. I can see my post on my Wall, but not the newsfeed. Maybe I should start reading my FB for Dummies book finally.

I'm waiting for the repairguy to come around 12:30 or 1pm. Hopefully DH will be home by 1. First I have to empty and reload the dishwasher, blech.

After I panicked about connection time to my Germany flight last night, I Googled it. I found that if the flight is booked on the same Airline, it should be OK. Also found that Delta recommends a minimum of 1 hour for Int'l flights. I have 1:18. Not much of a buffer, but I feel slightly better. At least weather should not be an issue in May.

MP, the flights looked fairly well booked, but I saw a few ampty 3-seaters on the way there, and about 8 on the way back so far. So fingers crossed.

Wow this place is dead today.

I've been sewing away...then I had to stop and clean up glass. Isaac thought it would be great fun to take the candle off the book shelf and throw it down on the tile floor. I don't know how he managed to walk through that without getting glass in his feet.

It's cereal for dinner tonight...Isaac has graduated to a whole bowl, with spoon and it's wet now. I pour the milk in his stir it up for a couple minutes and than drink the milk out. He thinks it's such a treat.

MP, it has been pretty dead lately here.

So the repairguys came today to fix the ice maker and give the A/C a checkup before summer hits.
An older guy and an apprentice. So they said they think they got the icemaker fixed, but maybe not. And forgot to turn on the outside switch after servicing it.

As I was typing this, they came by to turn the A/C switch on, I think I can already feel cooler air. He said it looks like the icemaker is making ice, if not, we need a whole new motor

I finally got my shower and got hair colored (coloured for Nab), but thats about all. I am defrosting chicken breast for chicken a la king (non Walmart expired) but that may have to wait till tomorrow to be cooked. Hubby is long in bed.

ETA: Looks like we are going to Epcot 3/21 or 22 to see Davy Jones in concert at 5:15 pm (Saturday) Dinner in Germany at 3pm. With DD and DFIL (I will skip not so nice smiley here)

This shows the plain white prefold and what I turned it into.

Showing 3 different sizes. Isaac wears the white and green one now. The middle one would probably fit a 6 month old and the plain white one would be for a newborn.

The top 2 are for our baby and the bottom 2 are for my sister. The elephant one is actually not a prefold turned fitted I just used a prefold for the inner soaker layer.

The insides are plain white prefold with the pretty flannel being on the outside.

Marita-- Sorry about your weekend from helk. And then you have a day off and no one comes to keep you company again...Sorry.

I have been having a rough day myself. My Uncle went into the hospital this morning with pneumonia and heart failure. He has told us he does not want to go on so if anything happens to him let him go, he just turned 70. I am feeling bad because we didn't go visit him last summer and were planning on going this summer. He is from Cape Breton Island N.S.

Went to a baby shower from Heck yesterday too. For one thing it was a my brothers place because it is his dd the shower was for. They invited way to many people for the size of the house, not enough chairs. More pregnant teens I have seen in one place... and these pregnant teens had one toddler each and all came from the same family of 5 girls. None married or even have the fathers in the picture. So there kids got hungry so they started to eat the food while the mom to be opened presents...that started other to eat too. Then all these young people kind of went of in little groups I think it was only me, and my side of the family still watching her open presents. We felt like we were in the twilight zone.

Just an odd weekend. Accidently dyed my mom's hair red...she matched Hannah. Must have got the wrong hair colour but I was pretty sure it was the same number we always use. And losing the hour sleep didn't help. And to top it off we had snow this morning. Only good thing is that it disappeared by noon.

DH just got up at 8pm. which he never does, guess he was starved, with all the repairguy distraction today. So now I am going to eat too.

Lil Blue - I'm working on losing weight too. A little different way this time The low carb thing sure took the water weight off fast.

Has anyone here tried Zumba? I was at a meeting tonight and they had an instructor there doing a beginners class. I couldn't do too much of it with my knee, but it looks like a great, fun way of getting some exercise!

And yes my mom's hair is still red. Doesn't matter what colour we do her hair it fades and always goes a blonde/gray mix by the time I do it again.

Nab, weather was perfect, 82 or so and sunny! Supposed to be that way all week;

I had to go the bank today. Someone get my Debit Card number and I had a charge of $113.00 to FTD. One to Connect( some dating service) for $49 and one to I Tunes and another one for 1.26 Nobody at my house buys $113.oo worth of flowers or talks on a dating Service. I had to cancel my debit
card but dd card was ok. They haven't got the money. So I got it stopped soon enough. I may have to change my Email address because I keep getting letters that you have won the lottery and send us some money...... Someone must be hard up if they are trying to get my Identity.

Hold on there, Moo - I had a blast - I thought he did a great job and the asian ladies were hilarious ------
but seeing him two days in a row is where I drew the line!
I told you it'd be enough to last me a year - I'm planning on seeing him again in a week and three days! I just needed a year between gigs.

Now wait just a cotton pickin minute. What is so unbelievable? She has picked me up at the airport, trolloped through Walt Disney World with me, bonded over Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and Mel Gibson as William Wallace, shared creme brulee and cheesecake with me, allowed The Dh to drive her convertible, chatted with me on MSN, and I am just plain lovable.

Did you know I do have some facebook friends that I have never met IRL? It's true.
