I don't get the geocaching. Who's GPS do you take? How does the GPS know where you're going? Someone else programs it?? :confused3

I'd be lost without my cell phone. I look at it this morning and it says "time updated for DST." Okay! Thanks! Without that little reminder I'd forget to change my clocks and be an hour late for work tomorrow. I mean an hour late for church today. Yeah. That's the one.

What's everyone's plans today? We went to see He's Just Not That Into You yesterday. Lemme tell ya, the bbn just LOVED it. I'm going to buy it for her as soon as it comes out on DVD. I'm not even going to wait for her birthday. It'll be a "just because I care" present. I'm telling you, I've never seen her enjoy a movie quite so much. Heh.

There may or may not be a snuggie album as well as an album with pictures of me as a baby/toddler on facebook. Just sayin.

Happy(?) DST! :crazy2:

Awwwwww, Peej! What a little cutie! And the Snuggie pics are ha-larious :lmao: It looks like Hollywood loved to pose for pictures even when she was little! That makes her a natural for her job.

My cousin posted a bunch of our baby/toddler pics on her FB page recently. And a couple from when we were older that show my ugly cat eye glasses . . . ugh. But it's fun to see those old photos. We're only two weeks apart in age, so we spent a lot of time with each other while growing up and were in a lot of photos together.

Marita - I stayed up way too late last night too :sad2: But I set my clock before going to bed. I may have to take something to get to sleep tonight since I need to be out of the house by 7:30. Guess I may need to have my hubby make sure I'm up when he gets up.

Cel - So how much older was your date?! I know when my BFF (she is 55) was meeting on-line guys she hated it when they tried to kiss her the first time they met. She didn't like things to move along too fast.

That's cool that you've been letterboxing! There's often a geocaching thread on the CB.

Happy DST, yeah, right!

I'm in a really, really crabby mood. My little kitchen TV just died, I bought a cut up chicken instead of breast yesterday by mistake, still haven't gotten nails done or hair colored or oil change done. I got a gift card for the baby shower yesterday, but no greeting card. Couldnt find them at Walmart and gave up. (Yes, I did ask!)
I just told DH to eat a roll for dinner, I dont feel like making the fricassee with the chicken I just boiled. I have a repairman coming tomorrow at 1PM to fix the icemaker, on my vacation day, and hubby is coming home then for it. So I have company for my day off. :headache: Maybe at least that will get me out of the house. Didn't call my mom today either.

Cel, I had the same question as Moo about the age of the date.

Alright.
Let's put this in terms you can understand.
Celery hid a box in a park. She figured out the GPS coordinates using her own GPS.
Then she went home and got on the interweb. It's this new fangled way for people who are imaginary to connect!
She went on the geocache website and postd "Hey! I just planted a new cache! The GPS coordinates are >>>>>>>"
So then peej, who lives near Celery, gets out her handy dandy GPS and inputs the coordinates and goes exploring to see if she can find it!
And she even brings trinkets to leave in the box!

Although judging from the "trinkets" I found in the geocache yesterday - :scared: there was even a pacifier? :confused3
I might stick with letterboxing.

I can't believe Hollywood befriended Elisabeth on facebook!

Is the don your grandpa?
Love the pics!

Yeah - I found out about letterboxing from the geocaching thread.
Ed is 41.
I'm almost 33. I don't think it's that big of an age difference.
And do you think expecting a kiss on the second date is too fast? :confused3

NEWSFLASH:

The Bachelor" star Melissa Rycroft will join "Dancing With the Stars" for the ABC show's Monday premiere, Access Hollywood has confirmed, although ABC would not confirm the news yet.

That's the one that got dumped.

Cel - The second date seems reasonable for a little kiss if you've hit it off ;) It's probably still too fast for my BFF though! But then she is older.

Sounds like you're having one heck of a day, Marita!

We went out to a Chinese buffet place with my hubby's dad and his wife for a belated birthday dinner for Mr. Moo this afternoon. It wasn't too difficult for me to eat low carb.

What an absolutely sucky day! I think the chicken I bought at Walmart yesterday was bad, it smelled bad, I threw the whole thing out. And it WAS in the fridge overnight. I was in a stinky mood all day, got nothing done.

Except I finally checked airline prices today and found a roundtrip to Germany for $560 on Delta, with only about 14 hours each way instead of 17-18of travel time, w00t! It was $920 a couple of months ago. And no stopping in Switzerland this time. Only Atlanta.

But even that was not easy, I messed up something on the website after entering all my CC info, something about outside country address, which turned out they meant billing address, and if its not valid all is cancelled, blah blah blah.
So I ended up calling Orbitz (fun, try to get a live person, goog luck!) Anyway, I ended up with BUNNY. Bunny was very nice and helpful and fixed me up. Told me there is usually a $25 fee for booking over the phone (all I wanted to know was if I had a ressie or not). Anyway, I was not in the system, so Bunny fixed me up and waved the fee.
OH by the way, BUNNY was an Indian male!

I am soooo glad I have tomorrow off!!

Goooood evening, Moovers! Hope y'all enjoyed the weekend!

Moo, a Chinese buffet sounds yummo!

Cel, thanks for the Peejed version of geocaching. Color me informed. A pacifier? Blech!

Marita, sorry your day didn't go well. Bright side: no work for you tomorrow!

The weather here was beautiful and spring-like all weekend. I now have an official case of spring fever!

Today was the Pinewood Derby for Boris' Scout troop. His car, The Green Leaf, won 7 out of 8 races, which means that now he gets to move on to the regional derby.....he is SO excited! It was cool to watch him be a gracious winner, and to see him console his best friend, who only won one race. :goodvibes

1. I'd be lost without my cell phone.

2. There may or may not be a snuggie album as well as an album with pictures of me as a baby/toddler on facebook. Just sayin.

1. Hmph...THAT may be the understatement of the decade! :rotfl:

2. That Snuggie is super-ginormous! I'm fairly sure that my family of 4 could fit into that all at once! Oh, and great childhood pics too! What adorable little hams you and Hollywood were!

I have a small favor to ask. One of Boris' Scout leaders has a 12 year old daughter who was very recently diagnosed with cancer in her brain. They haven't started her treatment yet, and they don't have enough info to give a real prognosis. I don't know any other details, and I don't know the family very well, but I do talk to the dad quite a bit during soccer season, since his son is also on Boris' soccer team. I just cannot stop thinking about this poor girl, and I wanted to ask if you'd all say a prayer for her. Her name is Emma. Thanks in advance.

Lynt, congrats to Boris on his wins. Goog luck!

Prayers sent for Emma

So I have a facebook question for anyone in the know. I posted a status update about purchasisng my ticket. I commented, Taejae commented. And it's gone!!!!!!!!!! I did Not hit clear.
What is going on????????

I see your status, the comments, and mythumb's up :goodvibes <<-- ETA: I see your status just fine on your "wall"

Are you on the "facebook" tab page where you can see other people's activity? If so, that's where your status would be hiding down the page.

L - w00t for Boris winning so many of his races and being a good sport!

And I'm sending up a prayer. Cancer sucks.

Marita - MooHoo for getting your flight reserved! :cool1:

We booked our flights to Orlando for September on Friday night :goodvibes

Hi, Lil Blue!!!

 Thanks for the prayers for Emma, ladies.

ETA: The DIS is acting wonky, so I'm heading to bed. See ya tomorrow!

Hey moovers!

How was your weekend?

We went to the zoo. No pics though because our camera broke and we haven't replaced it yet.

Hi, LB!

Glad to have you continue stalking.

Strange, I dont see my post at all :confused3 Not under news feed, live update or home?

I don't get it! :sad2:

Thanks for the tip, but I don't see anything :confused3

Hiya, Steph! Fairly boring weekend here . . .

It's SO hard to get to sleep after spring forward :scared:

Hi Steph, Hi Moo!

I just got all my seat assignments for my flights, w00t! First time I was able to do that. Hope it works out. I am Jonesing for a 3 seater row all to myself on the overnight trips. To and from Atlanta, I dont care so much about. Just close to the exit to catch connecting flights.

Moo, note to yourself for next year, schedule a day off for Monday.

OHH, SHOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

I started reading a trip report by some Aussie, and she was talking about connecting time with going through customs. I only have 1:18 hrs in Atlanta. That's cutting is CLOSE! So I just checked, changing now will cost me an extra $130!

I tell you what, this has been the weekend from HELK!!

CraZy busy weekend.

Marita, please take yourself somewhere to relax on your "sick" day.

Have a great Monday people!

That's an order!
