Celery -- he told me they play it at the Church dances. I think I need to start volunteering at some dances. He also was hooked on Ride a Cowboy for awhile too. I not sure if they listen to the words to the songs as much as dance and catch the verses. :confused3

Oh my goodness! You need to talk to that DJ! Neither of those are appropriate!!!!

I don't like the superman song (kids think it says "superman ohhhhh") because I know what it REALLY means (a scary gross sex act), but there's nothing in the song that explains that -
both ride a cowboy and animal channel have stuff kids can figure out!

Marita - Yay for the Dummies book! No not that you are a dummy, just that you will learn how to navigate FB now.

Ok, now I know how most DIS members HATE the Cheerleading competitions down in Disney, BUT I have to brag! Our High School cheerleaders were the National Champions down in Disney this weekend! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: The principal sent an email saying that they are going to be featured on ESPN later this month. :goodvibes

Sandy
- great job on getting out there. I did NOT due to the fact that I spent 3 Hours in THE WalMart. :scared1: It is a long (boring) story that I don't feel like typing right now, but I was worn OUT when I got home.

Argh! Why did I sign up for match.com when I'm broke?
People are emailing me and winking at me and I can't respond cuz I've got no money!
This one, unlike eharmony, is guaranteed.

You have to pay to respond? I thought is a flat fee? You pay per response?

Marita - I'm trying a new website -
it's a flat fee.
they let me have seven days for free, so I went ahead and signed up.
talking to four guys already!
better than eharmony so far!

Yay! Someone to talk to!
Not sure on the next date. We sent texts back and forth on Sunday, but I haven't heard from him again. He's probably sick in bed. I'm starting to feel wuckety myself, which sucks if he got me sick cuz we didn't even kiss!
It's very hard not to text him, but I texted last on Sunday, so it's his move.
He probably got scared cuz my mom is stalking him.
:lmao:
She googled his name!
No, I didn't tell him that. I didn't even know it until Sunday. :sad2:

I come home Friday afternoon.

It's raining and pretty yucky, but there's no snow, so I'm happy!

Riley is with CelMama.and he is having a great time with his granny.

I did have a drink, but I did not overdo it. I even did more homework before I went to bed.

The laptop thing is a plastic tray with two fans in it.

When did your computer start acting up???

Do you need funds?

babycow - is it an indoor or an outdoor beagle? how big is it going to be?
I'm not sure if I'll get to watch nip/tuck or not. the tv schedule here is really weird.
they have tnt listed as 36 - so I put it on there and it was the westminster dog show.
also a good thing, but I was trying to find the closer.
eventually I found the closer at 9:45, but I didn't want to watch the last 15 minutes!
:sad2:
Maybe I can find f/x tonight BEFORE the show comes on.
but I get distracted when I flip!

nab - that song is super old! like at least ten years, I think.
"You and me ain't nothing but mammals so let's do it like they do on the discovery channel!"
very funny song, but not appropriate for nicholas!
how did he even hear it?
or is there a newfangled version out?
peej? twinks? babycow?
do y'all know?

speaking of newfangled -
have y'all been reading about chris brown and rihanna?
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

we need a lil g assesment there.
or did he do one and I missed it?

big l - if by "super productive" you mean "Not working at all" then yes! :thumbsup2
I did get some homework done, but that's not what they pay me for.

I did get another call from the headhunter, so we'll see -

mamacel - if you read this, don't get your hopes up! and don't ask me about it! and don't tell daddy cuz then he'll ask me about it!
i'll tell you if it pans out.

does anyone else hate telling their family news cuz then everytime you talk to them they remind you that you're a loser? inadvertently, of course. I know they mean well.

love you, mamacel!

sandy - did I miss your birhtday?

YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN A LOSER YOUR CELMAMA:hug:

Hi Bethipooh,

I just noticed your AF reference in your location. Is your hubby in the AF? How is that? I mean life in the AF. My son just joined in May and is still in training, currently in Alabama. ( Hi Allie!)

I miss him, sobb!

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond...I have been moving in a vicious circle, couch to bed to couch...and so on...this cold and cough is driving me insane. I have kept DH up all night coughing.

Life in the AF...Dh proudly served for 20 + years. In fact, he loved it so much, when he retired, he went right into a contracting job for who else?? The Air Force.

I can't say its all sunshine and flowers, but personally I enjoyed the 20 years serving as a military spouse. We saw places we never thought we would go, the kids had good schooling at DOD schools, and traveled. We made friends that have stayed lifelong friends.

It was hard being away from family and the comforts of home( i never moved until we got married and DH went in the AF), but we survived.

With the way the economy and job situations are now (and even then) job security, medical, dental and housing are a big plus. Now that we are retired, we still get benefits, and his retirement pay. All though active duty pay is sub-par in our opinion. These men and women deserve to be paid alot more..(sorry, off my soap box now)

Anyhow, DD married an airman, and is loving life in Alaska.

But now I know how our family felt when we moved away...

I miss them too..anytime you need to talk, I am there for ya!!

Where the heck is everyone tonight?????

Did the end of the world come and nobody told me?:confused3

I am searching flights to Germany. I miss the days of direct flights with the charter company, but they are 3 hours away now (instead of 10 minutes) and charge an arm and a leg now.

Looks like the best I can do is about $838 with 16 hours travel time each way, UGHH!

Stop in Denmark, Newark, London or Atlanta, Chicago, Zurich or NY anyone? No sightseeing, just layover at airports. Or pick a combination for even more travel fun. Anywhere from 5 hours (EEK!) to 50 minutes in between flights (what if the plane is late and I get stuck in Denmark?? I dont speak Danish, eat them, ok but not speak it)

I hate this!

I thought Sandy's birthday was on Valentines Day?

You know, like last year?

Did it change?

Can we do that?

Hmmmm what day could I change my birthday to????

nope, i like mine the way it is.:)

Hey Beth! Thanks for checkin in. Good to see you. So, what have you bought so far for the baby???????

Hi Mony,

There was nobody impressively famous born on my birthday.
Maybe I should change mine.

Hi Cel, looks like you and I are the only ones awake.

I was searching flights to Germany, and they seem to have gone up by $40 in the last couple of hours. EEEK!
