Hey all! Checking in from the coffee shop.

congrats, marita! they'll be fine!

MommyP- Cute!!! I love all of it! You and Isaac are SO cute!
Is that a duck-tape spankin' stick I spy? ;)
My friend Jennifer has 7 kids and they have a 12 passenger van. It's not too bad, just hogs gas like my Suburban. In Utah, those are semi-common.

:rotfl: :rolleyes1

Our expedition isn't so great on gas either. Thankfully everything is flat here so we get better MPG here.

Mommyp I like the fleece set you made last night my gradaughter is almost 5 months ....hint ....hint .....hint.....lol

I don't know how to make girl things.

Wendy: It took me a long time to even like Breaking Dawn. I'm at about 500 pages.

I didn't like it until the last page. Only because it was over. :rotfl: I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed. WTHeck happened to Stephanie that made her suddenly suck the big one?

Well Chad's repairs only cost us $74 because they insisted we were within our 30 days. We weren't. It's off by about 2 weeks. :confused3 They also happened to have a special exhaust system that he had wanted sitting in the back that they gave to him. So now his little 500cc bike sounds awesome! He is suuuuuper happy.

And I am happy because I got a TON more flannel at Walmart today for diapers. :woohoo:

MommyP.....Yo turn, woman!

Everybody else.....:wave2:

I finally got my hands on Mimi's Breaking Dawn today. I just finished Bella's part now I'm starting Jacob's part.

I've also started The Shack. I really like it! Has anyone else read it????

MommyP, how many diapers does one kid need, LOL! OK, don't answer that :rolleyes1

Yay for going home, BH!

Celery, we miss you, girl!

I'm almost done with book 3, Breaking Dawn is waiting! I don't think Stephenie is a great writer, Uhow many times can you read how beautiful Edward is?) But still, have to find out how it ends...

Just talked to DD, they are still alive and up on I-10 (NOT stateroad 10 through the backwoods of Alabama and Georgia this time, LOL)
Frigging 1,200 mile trip!

Where the heck are BBN and PJ??????????

I've also started The Shack. I really like it! Has anyone else read it????

I haven't read it yet, Melinda, but it's on my list of books to read. (Did you know that I have a list for virtually everything? ) Let me know what you think, 'kay?

Hey, everyone! Just a drive-by, since I'm doing some work on my favorite paid-to-review site tonight. Between that and my popular-auction-site auctions, I am hoping to amass enough moola to get most of my Christmas shopping done by Halloween. Wish me luck!

Nothing you'd be interested in, Marita. Some dolls, assorted lots of kids' clothes and toys, and some clothes that no longer fit me (too big).

Thanks for the headsup:lmao: Oh these are the world champs Gold Metal Winners playing in there skimpies.

A little back story.

Sometime back in the early 90's.
Disney Marketing had not yet discovered the idea of tiieng a park to some sort of theme;

MK: Magic

Epcot: Discovery

MGM. Excitement

AK: I forget Environmentality, probably

Oh, and then there was "Thunder in Paradise"!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, someone got the bright idea of holding a beach volley ball tourney on th beach at Grand Floridian. Hot sweaty guys and the Grand, yay, great idea!!..They put up grandstands even. An tents for the players. It was a mess!

To say it didn't go with the theme of the Grand is putting it mildly!

Oh, and then there was "Thunder in Paradise" Hulk Hogan on a speed boat! With the most awful thatch bar built on the beach!

One of our future trips we need to visit all the stops on the monorail...especially if we go in Dec. an the Grand would be a must stop...my wife would love it. I will start to plan a Dec. 2009 trip when my wife can go ...she just started a new government job with the millitary. so it will be a year from now at the earlist when she can go with me....but she cant handle the heat so Dec would be great Im sure.

Yes, December is a great time to go. Beautiful weather likely. can be either warm enough to swim, or just Frosts are possible. but rare. Plus decorations and all that stuff.

Marita- Oh my! I'd love to go in December some day :lovestruc

We had 4 sets of people/families come through our house today! That's 4 more than I thought would come, so it was a nice turnout.

Ok, I need to go eat something before I eat my young (I'm sooo starving!).

Fabulous weekend wishes to all y'all!

I assume most of you have heard of the case of the missing 2 yr old girl, Caylee Anthony? Where the mother is not telling anything and lied about everything.

Well, I just learned the other day that the mother of he little girl went to High School with my daughter and dated a very good friend of my daughter for a while.

How weird is that?
wow, that's freaky.

Good Morning Everyone...Im sure this one dont apply :rolleyes1: ...but it is funny

((Rumbly tumbly image was here))
I read RT's thread earlier this evening and she said she won't be back 'til Monday. I hope some one comes up with a design in her absense, I'll go through DISign withdrawl.

Anyone watching the Olympics?
My kids are watching the Disney Olympics, does that count?

I sooooooo wanted to sleep in today too......but hubby got up at five thirty so he could be first in line to have a hair cut.....the hairdresser opens up at six on Saturdays.....He has been going to this place for the last fifteen or so years...SOOOOO anywhoooo.....the dog was angry that he went out without putting his plate on the floor for her to lick so she started to bark at him......this is all at quarter of six........I did manage to go back to sleep but then hubby returned at quarter past six........geesh...give me a break.

SO I guess I will just be a nervous wreck for the next 24 hours or so.

I was locked out about a year ago. I spent the night at my son's and he drove he home. th ekeypad on the garage door opener wasn't working and I didn't realize I had no house key (who goes in the front door?:rotfl: ) my car was locked in the garage, so I had no transportation! he drove me to the house I had to clean and I had a friend come pick me up. but I still needed to nap so I could tend bar till 1AM that night. I was going to nap by her and have nebo pick me up at her house, but she made a "suggestion"" leet's get a new battery for the keypad.... viola!!! such a simple solution... I always say "don't confuse me with logic!"
We always go in through the garage too, Smidgy, instead of the front door! So when the garage door is broken, we lock the house door. We have one of those keypads and I can never remember the combination. DD uses that when she comes home late. Guess I never thought about the batteries in that dying. We should just make sure she has her own garage door opener while she's staying with us.

Prayers sent for Brielle :grouphug:

I had to :lmao: about Megara barking over not getting to lick your hubby's plate! Our previous dogs always expected that too. When my daughter go her dog, she made us promise not to let him lick plates or feed him people food. So now he is pretty oblivious to that sort of thing and it's SO nice not having a dog sit drooling while you are eating  So, we decided that we would go that route with the puppies and it has worked for the most part. But they will come trotting right away for their bacon snacks. All we have to do is say, "Bacon?"!!!

Their gone, Oh ayyyyyyyy, their gonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeee!!!

Prayers for their safe travels, Marita! Loved your St. Christopher story :)

I haven't read it yet, Melinda, but it's on my list of books to read. (Did you know that I have a list for virtually everything? ) Let me know what you think, 'kay?
Lynette, of course we had you figured for a listmaker!!!

MomyP - Thanks for sharing pics of your creations! Those slings weren't readily available way back when I had my DD!

Wendy!!! Goog luck with your house. Hee hee on the Scrabble board! :rotfl2: I am re-reading the series of Diana Gabaldon books. I'm missing number 3 :confused3 so I may have to make a run to the bookstore tomorrow if I can't find it.

Mony - Yay for new carpeting!!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Lil Blue! Goog to see you! Hope your summer is going well. BH has been keeping us entertained with all those cute RT graphics :upsidedow

BH - WDW in December is great fun to see! When I went for New Year's 2007, the decorations were still up while we were there. Very pretty. And I love the MK Christmas parade.

Lex - Hope you get caught up on your rest tonight :flower3:
