Hello, Moovers! I just survived the second parent night of the year. The first one was before school started. I had the parents of 15 of my kids come, so I would say that was a good turnout! The kids came with their parents and I told them to give their parents a tour of the room. Did they show them math work? No. Their reading groups? Of course not. The science stations? Nope. They all walked right over to the hamster and crayfish cages and told them alllll about the critters. Clearly that's what's important to them!

Nab...yes, you have to pay for the pictures before you see them. Which I guess kind of stinks, but there is a make up day, so if you really hate your kid's picture, you can get a re-take.

And your pumpkin cookies have now moved from my counter to my freezer to preserve their deliciousness since you won't freaking come get them!!! Moo...they're not prezackly pumpkin cookies, per se. There's this bakery in Cincinnati that makes the BEST glazed sugar cookies. Seriously, they're awesome. I used to bring them to the bbn when I came to visit her so now she's addicted. I got her a box when I was home this weekend. They're themed differently depending on the time of year. Right now they look like Jack-o-lanterns. Very cute!

Sandy...glad you survived your day with the first graders. Want to come sub for me sometime? I just put in a request to use one of my personal days, so I'll give you plenty of advanced notice.

Mony...yay on exam week being over! Isn't that just the best feeling?

This just in: The Teacher's Union is fighting for us to not have to make up the days from last week. They say it's unfair because it was a natural disaster so there was no way we could have school. Keep your fingers crossed that we won't have to go that extra week in May!

Ok, went to the Dr. again today. Some of my veins closed up from last week's injections, but my big ones did NOT! I got more injections today, and it was more than DOUBLE the dose of last weeks dosage. I sure hope my rash was NOT related to the schlerotherapy. He didn't seem to think so, and neither the blood pressure issue. I took my pressure tonight and it was a little high, but I had just gotten off the phone w/ AT&T Wireless because my phone quit working between 3:30 and 4:30 today. Luckily, the nice LaTreda was able to get me up and working again, AND turn on my Call Waiting. (now I'll be able to get your call when you call, Sandy ) BP is quite normal now.

I'm worn out, and I have to have DS up at the high school by 7:35 in the morning (he forgot to answer the back page of a quiz ), and I have to fill in for the 3 yr. old teacher tomorrow. The 2 yr. old teachers aren't going to be happy that their "potty help" isn't gonna be there to help tomorrow.

My problem is that my preschool (church) is two doors down from the High School, but preschool doesn't open until 9:00. I hate to waste the gas to go back home, but I don't want to sit around for an hour and a half for preschool to start. I'll probably just drop him off them come home and get ready, and then go back.

Sandy and Moo,my DH is permanently banished to his room,LOL But he does have a lovely 42" plasma TV there,wth Tivo and cable. Plus he usually goes to bed at 5 during the week.

Oh, today,we were scheduled for this big meeting POP (1-5,that ended at4!).So the plan was for me and assts to go have lunch at POP food court beforehand. But unfortunately,our sister resort is short a person,and the 2 that are left are pretty new. So all 3 of us ended up helping them out. So no lunch,and Iwas starving.Turns out,boss' wife broughthim an Earl of Sandwich sandwich, whick he offered to split with me. YAY. Turkey and Cranberry, would not have been my choice, but it hit the spot!

My space bar is not acting nice tonight!!!!!

Sandy, no I don't know anybody from Cal Grilll, been there twice in my life.

I have HUGE 62" TV in the living room, not plasma though. It's like 2 1/2 'deep. We got it for a really good price in 2005 from when DD's former BF (the one before last) worked for Sears. It has HD,but still mostprograms are not shown in HD,and I usually forget to look for those channels even if they are.
