We're home!!!!!

It is so nice to be home! Here's the thing though...if you ever have to leave your home for 5 weeks, don't bother cleaning before you leave. I left my house **** and span and I came home to a dirtier house than if I'd lived there 2 weeks without cleaning. Dead bugs EVERYWHERE! How?????? Yuck!

Everything is put away and mostly washed. Grocery shopping done...and tomorrow for breakfast I'm making Tonga Toast.

Tonight for dessert is Ohana Bread Pudding with Banana Foster Sauce. YummO!

We had a great time at MK. We got into town at 3pm on Tuesday and drove to our 2 1/2 star hotwire pick motel. The room hadn't been cleaned in about..ever.

Chad went back inside to get a new room and came back out with the news. He had them refund our money and we had nowhere to stay now. He was just sure we could call up Pop and get in, just like that.

Somehow we could. I was even able to get a Florida Resident discount on a room. Yay! We had such fun. We swam for a couple hours and then decided we were hungry. We called and got an APR at Kona, just like that. We got there and Ohana's didn't looked swamped, so Chad asked and we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Between the boys falling asleep and the many "super poops" we didn't make it to the dessert. Which is why I'm making it tonight.

I need to go now. I'll check back later with the rest!

Twink....One of my little college students brought up a chat box today on Facebook to say "who's Twinkie?".

Tee hee. What did you say? My one IRL facebook friend was confused too. She is an army wife with three kids under 4 yrs old- I loved going through her photo albums. Her husband came home this week for the first time since she had her baby (early Jan).

Lexi, just remembered this. Speaking of 5 mins ago with kids!

I emailed a friend of mine a picture of DD's graduation.

He emailed back, wow, hard to imagine she graduated from High School already.

I sent back that it was COLLEGE graduation, and he was quite dismayed he lost 4 years of his life, LOL!

DH picks up lap top.

Not only did the GEEK SQUAD not download my old hard drive files, they did not MOST IMPORTANTLY download what was on my piece of crap 13 day old lap top before they sent it back to the manufacturer early this morning. They gave DH a disk back up of files from the old hard drive, but did not send with him the actual hard drive.

Yes, I was going to back up stuff when I was finished working on it, so I didn't think a 13 day old brand new puter that cost me 2 of my kids was going to crash so soon.


There's nothing I can do but ask tomorrow to contact the warehouse and try to have someone intercept it. I can live without what was on it, but for me at the momemt it's the principle of the whole thing.

I can't even watch the JAZZ game! It completely is stressing me out . Can I just cheer for the Lakers since I spent 21 years in California? Winning is much less stressful.

I hope it is a lovely day in Cincinnati today! Mostly for PJ but partly because Emily will be a King's Island all day too. I dropped her off at school at 6am. They won't be back til 11pm. Wonder if they'll be tired?

Thanks for all the sweet comments on my beautiful *little* girls. I had fun with my new scanner this week and scanned a lot of pictures that I didn't have in a digital format before.

Facebook friends....I scanned in a copy of my mother's day present...a new mouse pad....that DS made for me. It's the last picture in my album. It's a treasure.

Marita....So sad about your friend who passed away. I remember you telling us about him when he was diagnosed. I'll pray for his family. Now get your butt over to the eye doctor and get that surgery! It's just a simple outpatient procedure and if my 89 yr old grandmother can do it, so can you!

Robert....Who is Justin? Nephew? You know my brother's hair is totally white just like yours. And your cat's. I like it.

Wendeee.....Remember a few weeks ago when I did my facial. I used those Arbonne orange products. Goog stuff. I loved the way my skin felt but the samples are all out! Are you using everything (serum, day cream, night cream, eye cream, wash, toner?) or just the basics?

DTD.....I'm with you...never again on the infield. I'm too old for that nonsense. Gimme the grandstand! Heck, the drinks, food, and view are better at home. Glad you've finally got a day off.

My sister adopted Justin, the day he was born. We were all there here is a pic of Justin My sister and BIL. She has alot of white hair too ...so does my brother.

Here is me with my wife (a former army girl and now she works for the millitary doing records for everyone comming back and forth to Iraq )and her 2 youngest kids DD17 DS 12 the new mommy is 24 you already seen her pic with the baby and were going to go she her tomorrow and Justin as well they live in northe east Louisville maybe 10 miles apart

My sister couldnt carry her babies full term ... the first 2 lived less than an hour and then Holly came along and she was born at about 2 pounds ,,,they even had my sis on complete bed rest at 4 months on .. trying to prevent another mishap...but Holley was determined to come IN THE world 2 months early...she did ok and by the time she was suppose to be born she was at normal weight.

I'm back from the service for my former boss. I had the time wrong, it was only 7 months from diagnosis till his death.
It was very nice, as funeral services go. Two have his friends gave emotional and funny eulogies, that had he audience laughing at points. There were a LOT of people there. The actual funeral will take place in Georgia.
On the way back I got horribly lost. The trip should have taken me 15 minutes, but somehow I thought I missed a turn, turned around, took a road that I thought would take me home, and drove around residential areas totally lost. I finally backtracked once I found the road I should have stayed on. Anyway, it took 45 minuts to make it home.
