Beurk update: Natasha slept for about 90 minutes, and woke up asking for a snack. We're going to start with sips of room temperature water and see if that stays down. Please cross all appropriate appendages.

How's your daycare buddy now, Mo? Did you send her home?

Oh, and you DO know it's your turn, right? ;)

Oh, no I sent her home.

My turn? I know it's my turn.

It's my turn to do so many things..........................

I don't....... know....... which .....way.... to....... turn................

No pressure, Mo. I can wait for my turn, I guess. Just cuz I'm home watching my sick child sleep, don't feel like I need any sort of diversions or anything.

:rotfl:

Thanks for checking in Sandy and Poly!

Glad to see that things are bACK to normal at Sunnybrook.

Hugs to anyone dealing with be'urking.

Just another manic Monday here.

I was seriously considering chopping off my hair this week. It is really long now and in the post-partum falling out in clumps phase. It has long layers that were put in 13 months ago (yes that is the last time I had a haircut). The shortest layers are about 3 inches past my shoulders and the longest layers are to the middle of my back. However I got two out of the blue compliments on it today. Soooo... what should I do? Pretend this is a poll.

Did you skip your meds again?

:lmao:

Actually, I think that's the reason I'm feeling better.:rolleyes1

I like to skip.
it's fun.
so is the monkee walk.

PJ likes to skip too. You guys could have a dis meet and skip all around Nashvegas!

Just cuz I'm home watching my sick child sleep,

Uhhh, you really need a new hobby...just sayin'. How about standing on a soap box? Oh wait, we're already witness to that on a regular basis.

Yes it's everybody's turn except mine ;)

Oh goody, cuz I have just cracked the code to Lynette's password. (Really, L, I thought you would be more creative than DrTroyZHot, but you never were one for originality. *smooch*?)

I am going to take her turn for her. She is gonna LOVE me after this. Prepare to be wow'd

ETA: I vote to keep it long, Twinkadoodle!

NOOOOOOOOOOO! that is MY password for my secret scrabulous identity. BigL's is FutureMrsDrTroy. DUH.

It's not my turn anymore.:snooty:

Twinks, I cut my hair real short cause of what the pregnancy does to my hair. I can't wait for it to grow out. There's only so much you can do with very little hair.

At least Wednesday I get the blonde back.

1. Yeah, and I guess the kids'll get used to your "episodes"....right? :scared:

2. Yep...I'm wicked preachy. That's me. Fer shur.

3. That is soooo last week's password, BBN. Duh. I have totally moved on!

4. Ha! We all know that a certain fowl part of your personality prevents you from joining in the Scrabble fest! (cluck, cluck, cluck!)

gym, indeed!

Have you NO discretion, woman? Sheesh and harumph!

Mo, did ya know that before my first pregnancy, my hair was straight as a board? Around my sixth month, my hair decided to be curly (like, ringlet-y type of curls!), and it's pretty much stayed that way since! My then-hairdresser actually asked if I had permed my hair without her!

What's up with pregnancy curls? Same thing with me...but not quite as curly. It's more annoyingly wavy. Hello straightening iron.

Mony2- yer turn again babe. "It is BABE, isn't it?" (80's movie quote)

1. Whatevah! I just dont want to beat you too badly and embarrass you in fron of all these nice dissers. Yup, that's the truth.

2. HEY! That's MY story! People actually think I have permed my hair, but it just changed all by it's lonesome. Quit stealing my material, sheesh!!:snooty:

ETA: Wendy has the curly hair syndrome too? What did our children do to us? ACK!!

twinks - I dunno. Where's the hair guru?
Oh.
wait.
she'll tell you to dye it and add lots of layers that are high maintenance.
Do the OPPOSITE of whatever she tells you to do. ;)

baybcow - wanna come skip with us?

Good story. Just the kind of thing I would make up if I cheated on my hairdresser too. ;)

Was that a Patrick Swayze quote? Dirty Dancing?

Hmm.Not totally for sure.

Not anymore. Ding, next!

When is the skipping party?

HA! Only an idiot would cheat on a hairdresser. Look at Twinkie just throwing out pop culture references left and right. Not only does she border on blasphemy, she borders on geniusosity too. You are a bordering goddess.:worship:

So, as a thread, are we for open borders? Cuz I take issue with that stance, despite my geographical location here in the bluest of blue states. Just saying. ;)

Hello, Moovers. Hollywood has now gone home, so I am a free woman again. Not that I don't enjoy my time with Hollywood, but she can be somewhat needy (read: suffocating) and I am a person who needs some alone time. We had a ton of fun, though. We went to a concert across the river on Saturday night. It was my sister's friend who moved to L.A. who was performing. I really enjoyed her music. Last night I missed Desperate Housewives because we watched August Rush. That was a goog movie. I would highly recommend it. It was heartwarming. Which is the best kind of movie. Duh.

I am glad to see people were able to answer the "which one is PJ" question in the picture that I posted. Y'all have been paying attention! :thumbsup2 Gold star.

bbn...your friend sounds like a freakin genius. Just sayin. I'm glad you got to see your grandpa one more time. I bet that ends up meaning a lot to you. At the risk of starting to ramble myself, (imagine that), actually getting to say goodbye to my grandma brought me a lot of peace, as hard as it is to see them like that.
   SLUURP!!!!
p.s. Carrie Underwood, duh. At least give me a challenge.

Sandy...:wave2: Welcome back!

Cel...my Nashvegas trip is still up in the air. It's supposed to be Friday, though. A decision will be made within the next day-ish. If I end up coming, I'll swing by LooUhVull and get the bbn and we'll all skip and have a pillow fight. Deal?

BigL...hope Natasha feels better.

Can I share a brief moment of bragging? Remember the test I took 5 weeks ago? The one where I had a 101 degree fever during Attack of the Strep: Part II? I'm sure you've all been losing sleep at night wondering if I passed it. Anyway, I just got the results of it and I did in fact pass. :woohoo: I also got a Recognition of Excellence certificate for scoring in the top 5%. :snooty: I can breathe a huge sigh of relief now. That was really stressing me out.

Hope everyone had a nice Monday.
:grouphug:
