Happy 40th birthday, Allie! Sorry I came late to the party, so to speak. Hope this year brings you only happiness and blessings!

I found a REALLY scary one that I'm saving for Big L's berfday. It's worse than the supergirl one of me and her. :scared:

Sorry, Punkin...you missed my berfday (it was a milestone too!). It was January 21st! Write it down for next year, 'kay? ;)

Oh, and what could be worse than the Supergirl one? That thing skeers me silly! :scared1:

Okay, so after a looooooong day, I am finally happily pajama'd and ensconced on the couch. What's everyone else up to tonight?

GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

Wow. I figured you guys would've been all chatty last night but nuthin. So ketchup was easy. I cut the grass and trimmed the shubs last night just before dark. In short sleeves. Ahhhhh. I love spring.

BNCG....I snickered at your kids re: the earthquake. One thinks a cow is in his room and the other is explaining tectonic plates? Never a dull moment at in mamacantfindya!

Pumba! Yay for 77! Even if it's only one day.

Moo....Yay for top shelf margaritas and the patio.

Peej....I'm glad you didn't die. How scary for you girls! Mimi is headed back to Cincinnati tomorrow. Now that she's 18, it's just a regular trip they make to shop, eat, etc. They're also going to see whoever's at Bogart's tomorrow night? I forgot who it is. AND I signed a permission slip last week for a class trip to Cin. Art Museum. Don't we have ANYTHING interesting going on here at home? :confused3

DTD, Cel, Wendee, Twinkie, Monica, Allie, et al.......:wave2:

HAVE A WONDERFUL SATURDAY, EVERYONE!

Good morning, Moovers!

Just checking in. I bet everyone is enjoying the spring wherever you are.
I personally have to clean and do work work that I didn't do yesterday.

Just talked to my mom, she sounded really good. After her bloodclot (?) she couldn;t walk again last week, but today she said she can walk to the bathroom by herself now. So good news! The plan is that she goes home on May 7th.I am very relieved about that, last weeks news did not sound goodat all. She sounded very mentally clear as well. YAY!

My family is up near Atlantla this weekend for my DD's Lacrosse playoff games. Just talked to DS, and he said they won the first game, 19-4, and DD did an awesome defense. Next game is not till 4pm. If they win that one, they go to the semifinals (?) tomorrow. 2 games tomorrow for whoever advances today.

So good news all around. Except for work stuff that happened late yesterday. So I have to do some work stuff today, and my house is in need of a good vacuuming and picking up. I want one of those robot vacuum thingies, really.

Have a great Saturday, everyone! :hippie:

Hi Moovers.

We have baseball practice and then a wedding to go to. The wedding is at 4, and we are hoping to skip out on the reception early and go do something with the kids.

No kids allowed at this wedding. What? Nobody wants the entire bbn clan there?:confused3

I have so many comments and so little time. Weekends are always too crazy here. I'll catch up with y'all later.

Have a great day.:goodvibes

It's another lovely day here - I love it when it's in the 70s!!!

Marita, yay for your mom feeling better! :grouphug:

bbn, not including children at wedding receptions unfortunately seems to be a trend. I always love seeing the little ones dancing.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend :sunny:

Drive By  (j/k!)

We went to yard sales today :yay:

It was lots of fun too.
We seriously saw a sign that said: "Yard Sell" :lmao: :3dglasses

Now I have to go work the land (pull a few weeds). And get some weed'n'feed on the lawn to green it up. Oh, and it's gonna SNOW tomorrow! (Shorts day today)

Hi Moovers,

Just got back from The new super Walmart that recently opened near my house. Fist time there. I managed to spend $103 on such lovely things as Pretzel sticks, peanuts (lightly salted, why dont they make really salted anymore?), M&M's (peanut, big big), Triscuits (NOWT) and sharp cheddar cheese, and Doritos and bean dip. Not a party in sight, mine all mine!!!!!!!!! BWAAHAHAHAHAHA
Also got 2 pairs of sandals, 2 little white T's to wear under blouses that open too wide, and 1/4 pound of loaded potato salad (with bacon, ranch dreassing, sour cream and cheese, I think).

ETA, I think I prefer plain Publix red potato salad

Oh an some Lean cuisine panini sandwiches to hopefuly take to work, since the cafeteria sucks. I just need to remember to take them. Lexi said Lean Cuisine has some good things, and I saw an ad for the sandwiches yesterday, so I thought I would try them.

Oh, and some twice baked potatoes, frozen lasanga and tater tots. And fettuccini and a jar of Alfredo sauce.

On the way home, I got a chicken breast from KFC. I could have gotten one at THE Walmart, but I saw a special on Food network the other day about the secret seasoning at KFC, so I thought I would hold out for that.

Actually, $103 for all that is not bad!

Well, in my defense, all I ate yesterday was 1/2 a sandwich and small fries, and nothing today, so I went shopping hungry (never goog!)

Oh, and I got a new alarm clock too. One where I can change the time

Now I have to try to find space for the frozen stuff in the freezer, which is filled with bulk items for DH and DD.

Sorry to bore you all with my shopping excursion (hey, I don't get out much!)

Hi movers!

We had 2 very lovely days here back to back.

Yesterday after work I took a nice power walk and another today.

We BBQ'd yesterday and if I can beat the rain, I want to do it again.

BBQ'd ribs=yum!

Went to Sams Club and bought Tim and I pull over Tiger wind breakers. Cause I gots to look cute at next Friday's game. :goodvibes

GO WINGS!

Marita- you eat? ;)

mony2- Bbq! We did chicken last night and tonight it'll be STEAK! :yay:

Moo- 70's here too. SNOW tomorrow.

Got my hair trimmed and hi-lighted today. She cut my bangs a smidge too short but it'll be fine in a couple-a weeks. Blonde is good.

Marita- you eat? ;)

yes, once or twice a day even

DS just called, and DD's team lost the second game 10-8. And she is ticked off, because she kicked astarstar in the first game, and the coach only put her in this game for a couple of minutes.

So anyway, I guess the family will be back tomorrow (YAY)

OK, I think it's naptime.................zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hello Moovers!

It appears that Missouri's and Utah's weather will be switching places. Actually, we haven't had any snow this weekend but it was in the mid-40s and rainy at DS12's baseball game last night and low 40s and cloudy at his game this morning. They won one and lost one.

Now, though, it is sunny and in the 60s and going up to 79 tomorrow and about the same on Monday.

This weekend is the weekend I spend about 24 hours pulling building the schedule for the local "little league" baseball league I'm secretary of. I don't mind it so much -- it's like a giant logical puzzle to piece the various request together within certain parameters -- but, again, it's finally getting nice out and I kind of wish I could go outside and play!

-- Rob

Oooooh, I go Wednesday for my, the weather is warm, bring on the blonde (hide the grey) hi-lites.

I think I am done with this short hair and I wouldn't mind it growing out. At least until disney so I can pull it back some.

Monday my Geography professor is taking us down town (Detroit) for a field trip and taking us on a tour to learn about the history of the city. Then he wants us to go to Greek Town for dinner. Sounds fun. We get to ride the People Mover.

SNOW, Wendy??! :scared1: I think we might possibly be done with that finally! I read a few pages on the Peeps thread. Great loss this week!!! I should know in a few days how the protein shakes are working for me. But I find that I have to add some extra flavoring or fruit to make them palatable.

Mony!!! BBQ=yum! I just had an Oriental salad for dinner. I need to go to Meijer to pick up a few things. I bought some new (planning ahead for WDW) capris last week and get to wear them today :yay:

That sounds like an interesting field trip . . . is anyone planning to visit the casino?

Marita, sorry about your DD's loss  Hope you've enjoyed having the house to yourself!

Rob - I'm sure your efforts will be much appreciated!

I KNOW!

Anyone have a spare bedroom in a warm non-muggy climate for me to crash in? And feed me BBQ steak?

I'm done with snow. It is APRIL!

Today was beautiful but windy as heck. Almost unbearably windy.

Yeeesh, gotta go pick up Jen at the Airport again. She's here till TUES. morning now.

Twinkie -- I did not run off with the kitchen guy but he still is pretty chatty. He comes back on Tuesday. I will have a day to myself and can go out on Monday.

We have have the cabinets up and my new smooth top stove got delivered today. Hubby spent the afternoon painting baseboards.

We have been having beautiful weather too. BBQ too tonight. Only I had a veggie burger while the others had good stuff. Doctor tells me my cholesterol is too high. So I have to do something about that. Or at least I am trying.

UMA-- don't want the snow either. Hoping we don't see anymore of that stuff.

Moo-- wished we had a Meijers here, I really liked it went to Frankenmouth.

Rob-- Baseball hasn't started here yet. My son has been playing for the last 4 years and goes to baseball camp in the summer. It usually runs June to August.

Marita-- loved your shopping list. Sorry about your dd game. She sounds very competitive.

Happy Saturday evening, MOOvers!

Not much went on here today, huh? I hope everyone was out enjoying beautiful Spring weather. We had a busy day, but still managed to enjoy our 70 degree weather! :cool1: The kids spent about 4 hours playing in the yard today, which gave me ample time to do a major playroom cleanup. (I even snuck some McToys to the trash and put 2 bags aside for charity.) Feeling pretty good after that!

DH went out with the guys to watch some boxing match or other, so I'm enjoying a little me time!

What's up?
