OH Mony, so sorry Tim had to have the major surgery.

Maybe we should all put a HEX on the witch dr., or we could make voodoo dolls of her and all stick pins in her.

Did Mal find her pretty purple armband? They were so cute, and "made" the outfit.


Ok, so here is what was flying over my house yesterdee.......

THE BLUE ANGELS!!!! I had a nice view from my deck. I tried to take some photos, but by the time I heard them and got the camera ready, they were gone. I'm hoping for another personal show today.

Allie-- hope you get another private show. We get the Snow Birds flying over head and practicing too. I am guessing they do tricks in the sky too? They are usually here for the Ex at the end of August.

I have three extra kids in my house right now....summer holidays have started at my house.

I've been trying to log on since 9am.

Uggg!!!!!!! Frustrating.

They took my sweetie between 8:30 and 9am. I went to the cafeteria and almost had a heart attack when the lady from the waiting room came to find me a few minutes later.

They had to open him up. I'm assuming that means the tumor was too big for the less evasive way. (Laproscopy)


So, the surgery becomes major surgery and he will need about a week in the hospital to recover.

This is the dominio effect I was worried about.


I am more mad now at the witch doctor than I was before. My whole week off wasted.


Thanks for thinking of us and I'll check in later after he recovers and I get to see him awake and stuff.

Monica- I am so sorry about the more invasive surgery. I am praying for wisdom and skills for the doctors and speedy recovery for Tim (and 2 weeks of no other illnesses, daycare drama or poopy blowouts for you )

Nab- Happy Summer Vacation! Do you guys stay in school so late all the time? When do you go back? I am thinking of buying school supplies this weekend since a) we already have the list b)the kids go back to school less than 2 wks after we get back.

Celery- We have a song? how nice. I'll play it next time I am in my car. I could use a break from They Might Be Giants "Here Come the ABCs" anyway...

Allie!- How exciting! We love the Blue Angels. Goldenchild has a dvd and watches it almost every day. We (ie my father and mother) are thinking of taking him to a show this fall. I think they come to Big KC in September.

Speaking of which... .do you think Rob has fallen and can't get up? Is he in Disney world? joining the circus? secretly drinking Pepsi?

Yeah, I thought it was funny that your comment about my Blue Angels was before my post that I got to see them. Something weird is definitely goin' on.

I'm hoping that Rob's boys have been successful in their baseball season, and that they are still playing.

The Urologist came to see me, his surgeon, and told me everything went good and he's doing fine. Just in recovery and I still haven't seen him yet.

But they took out a 1.7something pound tumor out of him and it was attached to his back muscle and that's why they had to open him up. He said he was confident they got all of the tumor, they had to scrap or take part of his muscle. Which will heal and be fine.

The doctor used his hands to show me the size and my mouth just dropped. To me, that's huge.


He didn't know the demensions, I really want to know them.

Yes, Mals arm band was found and returned to her last night. We don't keep the costumes. They were rented. I can't wait to get the CD of the performance.

So I hunted for the newest mystery smell...a sippie cup of science project milk under the couch.

In a little while I 'll slap in a pan of cookies in the oven to make the house pleasantly scented. Worked for Twinkie!

Sunday 6/29 there are No late check outs for the 5th floor at the X. We need to have these rooms empty as soon as possible. We have a pest control dog coming in to check the rooms for bed bugs, and it is very expensive to have this done. We have to turn the rooms over to the contractors on Sunday, so housekeeping has to get into the rooms after the pest control dog to strip the room, and store various room amenities such as thelarm clock, telephone, ect.

Don't you sleep better now knowing there a bed bug sniffing dogs?
