Moo'vers 2012 Edition! come on in!

Rain and very windy here. The flowers on the trees are getting broken off. :mad:Had to go out and get on of my signs I had in the front it was starting to blow away. Crazy day. The whole weekend doesn't look good. So much for wearing my sundress to the Confirmation tomorrow.

Mony -- Hope your mom has a fast recovery, what was wrong with her hand?

Trying to get my wash done tonight, usually do that on Saturday. It will seem funny to go to my mom's without the rest of them. I think this is the first time hubby will be alone with them for this long of time. I'm sure he won't cook and he will probably be out and doing fun things with them too.

Since it is rainy baseball pictures were cancelled for tomorrow so it is because Hannah has dress reheresal for the musical tomorrow that is mandatory they can't come with me.

just read that the prices are going up on Sunday...can you buy your voucher now before the price increase and just activate it when you arrive in Disney???

it is raining here...getting ready for company tomorrow ..so spiral ham and I have to make two pies tonight..or this afternoon...I love to warm up the kitchen and the house and cook for the troops...gotta love that part..

I guess maybe I should dust too...cant vacumm cause the paper is on the kitchen and dining room floors...yah ...THEY SAID they are coming Wednesday and Thursday for the kitchen and dining room and Friday for the carpet......FINGERS CROSSED THAT THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENS....we will see...

see ya later gators

We bought our tickets today before the increase through undercovertourist.com. Saves quite a bit on money. I got an email last night reminding me.

My mom had a cyst growing on her long finger and if she let it go they were afraid she'd lose her finger from the first joint up.

Crazy wind just came through and took the pool cover right off the pool. Now there is no movement at all out there. Weird.

Mony-- wish we would have done that. I was away yesterday and only got home this afternoon and say that.

Had a lovely visit with family this weekend. Hubby and the kids didn't misss me , they were busy doing fun stuff without me.

The weather held out for the most part. After Friday's wicked wind I was scared that my hair would be ruined for pictures. I was the sponser for my Godchild's confirmation. Can't believe how fast my nieces and nephews are growing up.

School year is almost over , kids are done June 28th. Nicholas is mad because exams are late this year and he gets out only one day sooner then Hannah. Hannah even has a P.D day this Friday but he doesn't.

My father was a collector. He collected everything. My mom has held onto everything since he passed in sept of 97. So now she finally wants to sell his stuff.

What that means is I have to figure out what things are worth and try to get the best price.

Tomorrow I get to meet with some coin dealers. This is one of his most prized collections. Wish me luck. We have a hard time trusting people because my dad caught people stealing from him and taking advantage of him in the past. I am going to see what they say and leave with everything. Pretend I have an appointment with another dealer the next day. I know the minimum what his coins are worth. I also know he has a few that are on the rare said but I don't have the patience or time to try to find a buyer who would be willing to give me that much. KWIM? Then there are foreign sets that I have no clue what so ever and we are considering just melting them down. BUT my inner voice is getting in the way. I may have to make time to figure those out.

Today me and the kids gave back. We helped prep sandwiches and snacks for the homeless and the Garbriel Project I oversee is helping a new mom. Her 5th baby was born a few days ago and she is homeless. A member's neice took her in. Long story short, she needs essentials, so I went to our storage room and got diapers and formula and clothes for the new baby girl. Please if you are the praying type, keep her in your prayers that she can turn her life around, keep this baby, and bring her up herself. She chose to keep the baby so that is the first step. Thanks.

How highs the water mama...
two feet high an rising...

how highs the water papa...
she said two feet high
and rising...

that is how it is here...but more then two feet in places....hubby had to keep going out and emptying the pool of water...it was up to the place where the stuff goes in and stays in the skimmer...places had to close because five feet of water in the basements...my friend had water in hers and had to call the fire dept...furnace and electrical places under water...
roads are still closed and wash out everywhere....we are thankful that we had no water in our house...phewwwwwwwwwww...

see ya later gators

Pumba-- glad you don't have any water in your basement. We have rain off and on for a week now. Looks like it isn't finished yet with us either. And the wind with it is terrible. Blowing the leaves right off the trees like it is fall.

Mony-- my mom collects coins too. I remember she sold a lot when I was in high school to get new kitchen cabinet put in our house and a new kitchen table set. I have coin sets for the kids birthday years and a few one and two dollar bills that we do not have anymore. Good luck, who knows your mom could be rich and not know it.

There were goods and bads with my coin visit. I got an offer but I thought it was low. Based on book value I think they could have at least offered me 2/3 of that. But I got about 1/2 of that. I know they are out to make a profit, but that is a huge profit.

I always tell my mom that things are only worth what someone is willing to pay you. Now I have to convince her.

Witnessed something awful at Z's game Monday, there was a runner on third coming home and our catcher got in front of the plate for the tag and he slid into the catcher's knee pads and broke his foot/ankle. An ambulance was called and I am still trying to shake his cries of pain.

Going to my mom's today to do some work outside for her. She can't use her hand for another few weeks. She wants to get them dirty so bad.

I have to get her out of that house. 5 bedrooms corner lot and it is only her. It is too much for her and she won't admit it.

I'd love to see her in a condo.

Have a great day!

hey ...take your mama for a ride and visit some condos....with all the fun and no fuss places....I wish we had done that for my MIL ...not my mama cause she was needy and needed to be close to us...thus was our 30 plus year of owning an apt building with three floors...we knew where she was...she didnt have any upkeep ..just keeping her two bedroom place clean...and that is hard when they are in the 90s...

today I saw SUN and BLUE SKIES and it hurt my eyes...HONEST...its been a few since we saw the sun and it is great...

waiting guess for what...???

THE VINYL IS COMING IN TODAY...well the man is coming to rip up the other lu on...and then put down a new sub floor that is RIGHT and then another one is coming to put the floor down...and then FRIDAY IS CARPET..they are going to give us a store credit for all our hassle....not enough in my book but it will be good ...hubby can get the roto tiller...hahaha...

see ya later

Mony-- That is terrible about the back catch. I am allows catching my breath when I think any of the kids are hurt. Some kids just plow into the other ones though on purpose though coming home. Nicholas was back catch last night and was too close to the batter and he got his glove knocked right off so he has a sore hand today.

I think I would love to live in a condo when we get older,no snow or picking weeds or outside up keep to do. But then I would think I would be distrubing people if I was up moving around at all hours. Remember that from apartment living.

Pumba-- Hope this time you have lovely floors finished right. Are you putting in a garden that you need a rottor tiller?

I'm here, Nabbie - I've been reading mostly on my phone, but just haven't taken the time to post! Nothing too exciting in my neck of the woods other than work, PT, and e-mailing with Mari about wedding plans :goodvibes We just finished a huge project at work last week and went out to dinner to celebrate one night after work. That was enjoyable.

I see you've got a ticker for your next cruise. w00t!!!

Not sure if we're going to be vacationing this year as wedding stuff will probably take precedence. But at least we'll get to go to NC in the fall ;)

Pumba - Glad to hear your floor issue is finally getting taken care of!!!!!

I never did hear from the in-home PT guy, but I think they may be at WDW this week :woohoo:

I've been reading about the Fantasyland expansion and Art of Animation resort at WDW and the new Cars Land at Disneyland. It all looks pretty cool!

Mony - Congrats on getting your next WDW trip in motion! :thumbsup2

It's tough seeing/hearing about kids getting sports injuries.

Moo-- glad you checked in. Making wedding plans must be so exciting but it can be stressfull too. I did everything for my first one but let hubby do all the decision making for the second one. Right down to the bridesmaids dresses. Which really the girls picked out he just had to pick a colour.

Nicholas has two projects due today. I was in bed and he was still up so not sure when he and hubby finally went to bed. He does this all the time. It was given to him month ago and he waits until the last minute. I will be so happy when he finishes school or goes away to school so I don't have to have the stress of it all and it isn't even my project. :sad2:

I am loving being back at it with the DIS! Having fun with Nebo, all of you!

Finding old threads that are still there, new ones, nothing like having a trip in the works to bring us all back together. I hate the disney funk I go through after the trips. It is so depressing for me.

Can't wait until I graduate and get a job so my family can go more regularly. It's coming so soon, I can see the light at the end of that tunnel!

I had such a busy day yesterday and it was one of my typical days where I do something and then because of my luck I have to do several more things to make it right. I want Matt to attend a camp that was really successful for him last year and they never sent me any paperwork. I get ahold of student services in his district and this lady had to jump through hoops to get some for me, I go to pick it up and she tells me I have to take the forms myself to the ISD, so I take them home to complete them and find out I can't do that I have to bring them back to her. Only the student service supervisor can submit them. I drive back out there and don't have any checks to pay for it. This is a 5 mile drive one way. So I get some cash, they don't take cash and I have to get a money order. I can never do something the easy way, always the hard way.

My morning was productive but my afternoon wasn't. Everything I tried to do in the pm failed. Store out of something I wanted, another store don't fix broken Kindles, you have to call the 800 number and work it out through them, I drove by a place I wanted to take some coins to but I was without the coins.......

Today I took my normal day of working a sub job off. After all the card marking is over and I'd only be babysitting anyways. No thank you!

I will enjoy it spending it with Maddy and her Daddy. Fridays are typically Maddy Daddy days, but today is Mommy Maddy Daddy day! When ever he wakes up that is.

Off to more dising.................have a blessed beautiful sun filled day!

was not exactly happy Wednesday....we had the people come and rip up the other sub floor and remove it and then put the right stuff down and get it ready for the vinyl...well guess what....Hubby had a big run around with the company that does the scheduling..they are a bunch of ***#$@**....not exactly nice words...they promised me wed and thursday vinyl and friday carpet...oh yes Mrs. Pumba...yes we will do this for you...well guess again...
Now today the vinyl is almost down and carpet wont be until Tuesday...they are such a bunch of losers...Its not home depot ...its not the installers...its that darn ACS..American Carpet systems....
I am just going to sit here and let hubby take care of the rest....cause my BP was to high and I needed to calm down..
ON the other hand...oil delivered today and it is down to 2.99 a gallon...so we only got `100 ...just enough to last until maybe November...cause we dont need heat ...just hot water...

hope you all have a great day and I will smile again cause the sun just came out

Pumba -- What a run around they are giving you. Hope they are done on Tuesday then and you can be done with it.

Mony-- I have those kind of days. Usually my only reason for going to a store it to return something only to remember it is sitting by the front door. :sad2:

Hubby bought me a bike today so I can go riding with them. I was the only one that didin't have a bike. I used to love riding my 10 speed but then I let someone borrow it and they wrecked it. That was 20 years ago. Don't like the moutian bikes they have out. I sometimes ride hubbys and go with Hannah but it hated it. He got me comfort one that we saw at Costco yesterday. Big wheels and I am not bending over the handle bars. I will have to try it out tonight when it is cooler. Well if it gets cooler , pretty warm today.

It's a beauiful sunny Friday here , hope the weekend is too. We have an outdoor mass planned for Sunday morning. With jumping castles, bbq the works. So hope it doesn't get rained out.

Ok so I am not in good shape to ride a bike around the neighbourhood. How sad is that. I told hubby he was trying to kill me. Hannah just laughed and kept going wouldn't let me get off and walk a bit. I made it home but boy I was out of breathe.

We went to Ribfest in town tonight for supper. So much yummy food. I ate before I went on the bike maybe that did it.... Expensive though by the time we left we drop big money for the four of us to eat. Everyone wanted something different. Then Hannah had to play the carnival games but she won her monkey first shot so that was good for us. That does not happen ever.

Nicholas is volunteering tonight , it is the last dance of the year. He will have 53 hours in by the end of the year. He only needs 40 over the four years to graduate. So we are doing really good.

Calling for rain tomorrow , hubby is working good day to do some cleaning since grandpa is coming on Monday or Tuesday to watch Hannah in her school play. Don't want to think we are slobs .....There is so much stuff just dropped at the front door it isn't funny. Baseball bag and shoes, school books , back packs....

peanut thread

I posted an honest question and got nailed by a bunch of heartless people.

I think I held my own but wow, I forgot what it is like out in the great wide open. I like our little home here much better.

Off to a double header!

people get so ........I cant even find the right word...My niece had a peanut allergy and she could of died if they had peanuts or peanut butter near her...My other niece gave her a kiss on her cheek after two or three hours she had eaten a peanut butter cup and omg her face swelled up from the kiss from the lips..

so Whats new...the sun is out...we took megara to the vet for her fasting blood test for her thyroid..and her liver and kidney function....all is well and she stays on the same dose of levathyroxin...same as a peoples drug...$188.00 later...YIKES..but the blood test is expensive ...

we put the fridge and the stove back in the kitchen area and we will put the china closet I think in that corner of the dining room.....level floor vs being in the living room when the carpet is here...I think it will be to unstable... dont know yet what I will do...thinking about it..

THE SUN is actually hurting my eyes....when a person has cataract surgery...the sun coming in is really strong into the place where they put the new lens...weird...

have a good day my friends and will see ya later gators I mean Moovers

Zach's team did incredible today they won both of their games and the temps were in the 90's with no clouds the second game.

At home relaxing and the girls enjoying their little pool.

What was I thinking posting a silly little question like that in the deep waters. Silly me for thinking that those very real looking peanuts could be real and that my son might believe they are real. I guess I should assume everything is in my son's best interest in this world especially at WDW. The things those people assume of me boggles my mind.

OVER IT!

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

Mony-- That is great that Zach won both games, a double header at that in the heat. Not sure which I hate more, rain or extreme heat watching ball games.

Had a beautiful day today for our outdoor mass. I got there early enough to sit under the big maple tree. It rained last night so when the wind blow a little we got a sprinkled on but we just said it was an extra blessing. The kids love this event. Free BBQ, kids games face painting ,talent show and just meeting our church community since we all don't go to the same mass. I was surrounded by a bunch of seniors that were a hoot.

So between ribfest and this I am partied out. Did go get hubby a Father's Day gift afterwards. Only opportunity to do it with the kids and get a card for Grandpa to get mailed out. I am usually really bad at remembering.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday! Pumba is that pool open yet , today would be a great day for it.
