MP, love the pics. Ellie looks so grown up in that red dress, wow.

Nab, glad the tests went ok so far, whew. And I did talk to the room assignment manager today :)

Getting a bit cool here too, low 40's to mid 60's, but supposed to go back up to the 70's late this week.
Nothing to report here, work is very boring right now....

Marita-- I am ready for the 70's , could even handle the 60's right now. Sitting here in typing wearing a sweat shirt with another cardigan over top. It's cold today. Thanks for talking to the manager. I really hope we can meet up, maybe even on a break from work on the 2nd. since we are right there.

Pumba-- I have just been telling my hubby that I feel lumpy lately. He said that is what makes me feel soft. He wouldn't want a hard body person. And for my butt I have a flat one or non existent one so my pants are always baggy there too.

Hannah has been wearing her mickey ears all day. They are purple with leopard print ears and a princess crown on the front, her name and 2010 on the back. We got them at Disneyland last summer.

I'm afraid to post on this thread, lest they shut us down :sad1:

Love the pictures - such sweet memories MommyP

Nab oh how I hate waiting! I can only imagine how hungry you and Hannah were - and yet, waiting with Nicholas... how I hate waiting! Good luck packing - Meagan also likes to take her stuffed animals - and she's 15 - she must take TWO, minimum! One is a smallish bear her brothers brought back from Philmont, the other is a "squishy" pillow her other brother got her for her Birthday... its amazing actually. Dont get me wrong, she still trashes me on FB! :rotfl:

Marita hopefully boring is helping you as you continue to heal - and I'm sure you're going to tell me there's nothing wrong! ;) All the same, boring has to be less stressful!!

Pumba My Dad got up on a ladder on top of the trailer to seal it - mind you he said he was going to let my son do it (son was coming in TWO days!!) I looked, "where's dad?" :confused3 mom said, he's always putzing around - went outside - and sure enough the man was on top of the ROOF - no spotters... MEN indeed! I took pictures! Posted them on FB too! He got calls!! :rotfl: (my brother, sil, his 2 sisters, and one aunt all called after that post!! :rotfl:)

FB - hate it, logging in can be difficult ever since I got hacked. But I like keeping up with Utahmama! She's amazing!

Moo Hope you are having a relaxing, enjoyable, peaceful time ....

No snow here, but you can see your breath when you go out in the early AM and late PM - DH is glad for the cooler weather forecasted for the Marathon! I"ve come down with a cold in my nose. *sigh... runny, stuffy, and yucky! :headache:

I'm so over done, I bought 2 dvd's to exercise with. Hope I can follow through!

Nab, I decided that if we are all going to meet, Sunday lunch or afternoon would probably be best for me. I found out I can get in free with my ID, so no problem. I will probably not be working Monday. So if Moo ever shows back up before then, maybe you can send me a pm with your plans for Sunday.

Sandy, about the posting here on page 251, I havent been TOO worried, as hopefully Pumba has connections :confused3
Any idea who hacked your FB account? That's weird. Mine is way to boring to even bother hacking, LOL.

I haven't been on-line much with my laptop, so I haven't started a new thread yet. We've been having a nice visit with our daughter and her BF so far. Not quite as warm today as yesterday, but still much warmer than home!

Marita, we have lunch at Le Cellier planned for Sunday, but later in the afternoon would probably work for us. Not sure if we'll still be at Epcot or somewhere else.

Nabbie - Let us know where you plan to be that afternoon!

morning everyone..
Today I am in my housecoat still....I will take a shower soon and then KT's boyfriend, Kimberly (my daughter) and MOI are going to the malls...and then out to eat for lunch...Gotta love this...He is such a good kid and doesnt mind spending time with us WOMEN..hahaha...

I will leave a note to the higher ups to not close this thread until it gets a new one...waiting for the MOOVERRRRRRRR....Hope someone sees it..

waiting for the egg lady to come here today....she usually goes to the old area and leaves them at my old neighbors house...but she is coming here today so she can visit the new house and leave ME my eggs...the other one doesnt need any..

I love not rushing around and having to take a shower when my feet hit the floor ...I could get used to this..

Got our doggie her new license...this one we had to go to city hall so they could see her new rabies number...so the next two years we dont have to go downtown....just send in the money honey...ROFL..

it got really windy last night and COLD...our temps went down 55 degrees from yesterday morning to this morning.....yikes..

have a good day my neighbors:laughing:

Really cold here too Pumba. I haven't been out in two days and really had to scrap the ice off this morning.

Went out to get my hair cut. Not happy with it but will have to live with it nothing else I can do. Can't find a hairdresser I like so I end up just going and getting who is available. This one kept asking me if she was cutting enough off. All I wanted it was cleaned up because the sides were getting long. Follow the last cut and stop asking. A good hairdresser would know if the cut looked right. This one did not. I asked her to bring the other one in and she said to cut more off because it was still sticking out. I just wanted out of there. Then before I left she said if I didn't like it still come back and she will cut more off. :confused3

Anyway hope my day gets better. Have to get the wash started. Get Nicholas moving on his clothes to take. Hubby decided to work another day of overtime. He now only has tomorrow to pack and see what he wants to take. I will take out some and put it on the bed , then he can decide from there. It is a start. Heck we leave on Saturday, can't these people work with me......

SIX MORE SLEEPS TILL DISNEY :cool1:

I havent even begun to think about packing - or going! Havent planned much at all - I am in denial - Mainly because I'm leaving DD behind, and DS is supposed to be here to over see everything... :faint: It wasnt supposed to be like this!

I have caught a cold in my nose, and I feel  blech

Pumba love just hanging out in my PJ's Hope you do some damage in the malls - there are a lot of deals there - those signs were tempting me!! I bought a down coat from Lands End - regular $129, down to $44! (its a horrific color of darkish green, but I dont have a winter coat!) Thanks for helping to keep the thread alive till Moo can mooove us! I dont want to be the cause of a shut down!

Nab I hate going to hairdressers too - I used to say I dont tell my doctor how to doctor, why should I tell a beautician how I look best - :confused3 I did take DD to get her hair cut, she looks so cute - really did a great job. I considered having mine cut!

I too have loads of laundry to do!! :scared1:

We had a great day..
First we went to the big Mall about an hour from here....we have malls but this one has it all......then we went to Olive Garden for the soup, salad and breadstick meal......OMG their chicken gnocchi was delish..I think that is how it is spelt......I love that soupa with those little round dumpling stuff......yummy...then we went to Freeport and the outlets were hopping...we went to LL beans first and then to Reebock and then Lindts( good buys there) and then Coach...My daughter almost got one but didnt..

Pumba--sounds like you had a great day. I love sales after Christmas but I really didn't go out this year too busy.

I am almost done packing our clothes. 2 loads of wash to go. Need all the underwear I can get.... Last year I could pack Nicholas and Hannah's clothes together, not this year. I think they have grown and so has there clothes. And I do not wash on vacation.

So I really don't have that much to do tomorrow. Find all the shoes we will take, maybe iron a few things. Pack carry ons and we should be good to go. Oh and ask the neighbour to pick up our paper.

Can't wait to see Moo and hopefully Marita too.

I'm super jealous of all of you taking cruises and trips to Disney in a few days! I'm always so torn about going this time of year. It's a million times nicer to go in the cool weather months, but the downside is not being able to use the pools...which for us is a huge part of our travels. :-/

I'm definitely planning our as-of-now-pretend-but-hopefully-will-become-real trip for September. BTMR is going to be down in May and touring plans is predicting way higher crowd levels this year than last...so we'll deal with the extra humidity and rain in Sept. We get no crowds and a freebie vacation day then too.

I've been brainwashing Ellie with youtube videos of rides and shows from Disney. She loves them! ;-)

Chad had to work yesterday and last night. He came home for a few hours in between. He got home this morning at 6:30. So he's sleeping now. It's not easy to keep 6 kids quiet, especially since our bedroom is right off the main living area.

Oh I saw the BTRR was going to be down when we are there...big sigh here...
I do like that one..didnt see where the touring plans were saying the crowds would be bigger...

Hubbys tork converter is gone on the truck...that is why it has been whining...whine whine whine....still under warranty so that is good.....he took it this morning and got a loaner...now they have to order the part and we can have our truck back until it gets fixed....we would miss the truck..

I have 126 days till our trip to the House of the Mouse...I am ready...we have used a fourth of a tank of oil since two weeks have gone by..we are freezing again today and they said tonight and tomorrow night will be the coldest we have seen.......and I thought 8 was cold.....oh well...some day...warmth in the winter...anything higher then 40 would be warm to us right now...

Have a good trip everyone...and have fun for us cold folk ...hahaha

Pumba - I was noticing the crowd numbers for the days for up by 1-4 points from the same week last year. Some of the days in the beginning of May are 7-8. That's not cool. I prefer the 1-4's of September.

we have done numerous May trips and a few in September....One time we went and OMGOODNESS.......our sweat sweated...it was the most humid day I have ever known to myself...we stood in the middle of the pool at Pop Century and that was when the snake joined us for a swim too...I think I remember myself running on water......got out of the pool fast......it was a local snake that was hot and needed to cool off I guess.....not poison but still a snake is a snake...

we will just take it slow I guess in May ...thanks for the info..BUT being that it is COLD here I will take slow and easy in May..

Well I think everyone is packed but my husband. He does this when we are going out to a wedding or something last to get dressed etc. Lots of time he says.

Got my nails done too. That is a treat for me because I usually don't or do them myself. It was a present from hubby. Maybe he thought it would calm me down from running around the house making sure everyone was packed.:lmao: Thought I would have to wait longer since New Year's eve is tomorrow. Lots getting nails , filled , put on etc. Mine was easy for them. Now my nails are a nice pink, not pale but not fuisha.

I saw a thread on the CB about the parks closing the other day because they are so packed. What will New Year's Day be like then. :scared1: Maybe I should go in the second instead but that is the day Nicholas and hubby are going to Universal.

Got to go eat haven't eaten yet today and can feel a headache coming on.

The crowds in Orlando this week have been big. Both Disney and Universal had park closings. Maybe the economy is finally picking up?

Nab, Sunday should be a lot slower, tons of people are checking out then to go home, so don't worry. I assume your hubby will get packed eventually, or just wear the same thing every day, LOL (not that anybody but you would notice). Hope you like the room I think you're getting... if you get it. Take the boat to DTD Monday if hubby and Nicholas are gone and try the holiday sandwich at Earl, maybe, I think they still have it then.

MP, September is all that slow anymore with free dining, but I guess a lot better than now.

Pumba, stay warm!

I'm going to try to de-christmasfy the house this weekend instead of procrastinating till February, wish me luck!

Marita--I am sure we will like anything , we are getting freezing rain right now so I just want to get out of this weather!

Bags are packed and waiting at the door. We might head out tonight so we won't have to get up so early in the morning. It is almost a 3 hour drive to the border. We are flying out of Buffalo so we night spend the night there and do a park and fly.

Are you working on the 2nd Marita? Is there a chance we could see you at all there? We do not have cell phone service in the U.S. They can use Wi fi but not the other or we will get roaming charges. Can facebook you.... I have no way of getting a hold of Moo either while she is there.

Hubby just asked if there is a computer that you can use at the lobby of POR? I told him I didn't think so . Other hotels have one to use in a business room or lobby. We don't want to take the laptop.

Nab, no, I'm not working Monday. I would if I had a good reason, but all my forecast work is already done, so I don;t really have an excuse.

We don't have a laptop for you to use, we are not a business hotel. Just enjoy your trip, maybe see you next time around! The weather should be great.

Thanks for all you help Marita! Yes definitley stay home and toast the New Year for me too. I am sure I won't be toasted it with anything but soda but well be enjoy warmer weather. Maybe go to Downtown Disney but I think that might be crazy crowded too. The kids can swim and just relax.

Decided to leave in the morning. To afraid we would run into the freezing rain somewhere else. Temps are suppose to rise overnight so it should be ok then. Have to probably get up around 4:30- 5:00 but that shouldn't be a problem. We will be too excited to sleep I'm sure.

Oh NAB...have a great time...and just rest and relax and let the kids enjoy themselves too..

we are getting the freezing rain tonight and into tomorrow...Took Katie out to chinese buffet this evening and had a good time...she is a good kid..(22) but still a good kid to me..

I ate to much clams and crab legs...my stomach is spawning I think....:rotfl:

have a good trip and everyone have a safe and Happy new Year
