YAY on your new house, Pumba!

Marita - I agree, it has been hot here this weekend, except for Friday night when it was rainy. I'm kind of sad to be going home tomorrow, but it was a nice week down here in Florida overall.

Nabbie - I can't wait for our cruise this winter :)

Busy morning. School mass and then they had a gathering for all the volunteers. That was nice and they gave us all a pewter key chan that says Volunteers are Essential Part of our Team. Then they feed us pita sandwiches and lots of desserts.

Have to go back to the school tomorrow because they are having an assembly for the Principal he is leaving, he got a promotion with the school board. Should be fun. They are going to kind of roast him.

It is such a beautiful day out there today too. We have baseball again tonight too out of town.

Moo -- are you home safe yet?

Marita -- hope you got your toilet put in today. I need to get the kids bathroom overhauled some day.

Hello! Welcome back Marita and Cheryl hope you both had nice trips.

Tomorrow I get to turn in my projects for my spring classes and I wil have 9 glorious weeks off of school. My official day to close the daycare is July 15.two months shy of 14 years doing daycare.

I wil stil have a few kids to watch for an additional two weeks and then I will really be done. On Friday I will have 15 Kids here.

Hubby keeps saying we need to talk about when we can start planning to go back to Disney, but that is well over a year away.

I am having some me time this summer and am going to see U2 on Sunday at Spartan stadium with some gfs and my Sis and I are going to see kid rock in august.

Recital for the girls next week and the boys are working vacation bible school while the girls attend.

Matt oldest is eligible for drivers training this month, gulp.

Zack finished again all year with A's and one B+ and Matt last report card was b's and c's which I will take because of his almost failing grades at the start of the year . I got him on track finally.

Next fall I will have four kids all in a different school.

Just wrote all this on my new iPhone pretty sweet phone.

Mony, Yayy for finally getting some me time. You sure have worked hard for it and its been a long time coming!

Nab, no toilet yet. The guy grouted the tiles today. Toilet is installed minus the seat cause nobody is supposed to walk on the tile yet. BUT, it should be good to go tomorrow. Luckily DH is still off this week, so I can use the other one without waking him up.

In the midsts of budgets at work, and it's a mess! Looks like errors in the target files, so it;s going to be a busy next 3 days, yuck!

I thought I posted last night....

Mony-- That is a lot of kids in the house. Glad your moving on to something you really want to do. Can't believe you will have one driving. I have two years for that here.

Marita-- Hope your mess at work gets figured out fast. As well as your bathroom reno. Bet it looks nice though.

We had our game out of town last night and the umpire didn't show up so we played a friendly game....I would rather have been home on my couch as Marita says all the time. Would have saved me on gas too. This seems to be a problem this year with them being late or us not even having one for the game then we have to make that one up. :sad2:

Marita 200 miles out of the way? I'd love to visit Glacier Nat'l Park! DH texted its been 5 years since he climbed Mt Ranier (Washington)

oh, and I have a GPS - but I keep it on silent! :rotfl2: It really helps me figure out how to find DS house in Chicago... not. It took me an hour out of my way! I called him I was on the right street, at the dead end - a Target store :rotfl: Some days there is no hope for me!

Mony 15 Kids :scared1: You need more "me" time!! and your oldest is ready for driver's ed - my youngest is asking to take it from a private company (the school has different rules, and she wont be able to take it for another year! I'm ok with that!!)

Nab Little League - I dont envy you - but I do admire you, your kids will always appreciate those drives! (and today's news here - some woman went wacko on a Little League coach - she's in jail - something about threatening to kill the coaches family? :confused3 wth is wrong with people?!)

Moo I enjoyed your pictures on FB - sounds like you're busy now! I'm close to planning the Jan trip - I'm really liking the wdweasydotcom website - its a bunch of former TGM'ers they have a best day calendar!

Pumba wow, now that's a Father's Day present!!

DS cried last night. I think accepting his wife will be his ex is hard for him. (even those this mom says she doesnt deserve my ds, I kept that to myself! and she now de-friended me on FB - I was wondering... I checked myself "offline" on the chat, and only checked her page 1 or 2 times a week to see if she deleted their vow renewal pictures from this January... now I'll never know1! :rotfl:) DH gave him a check to pay the lawyer today. Hope it works out.

Well, I made it back!

Had a great stay at WDW until my travel day. Woke up with the "stomach flu" (possibly food poisoning from the sushi from Beach Club Marketplace that I had Sunday night) :( I made it to the airport and tried drinking some of my water while waiting in the security line and promptly threw it up, fortunately into one of the many trash cans that was there in the line. People detoured around me and the TSA officer brought me some paper towels. Did fine on the flight home drinking ginger ale and eating some pretzels, so I had some bland solid food for dinner and drove to my work-related evening meeting where I sat off by myself in case I was contagious.

The solid food was probably a mistake because I was still having "issues" this morning, so I stayed home from work. I had some hot tea and am feeling a little better this afternoon and had some toast with peanut butter for lunch. I'm sure I'll be fine and back to work tomorrow, but being sick is no fun!

Hopefully I won't get sick during my next visit, but it was the second time that has happened to me. I'm glad it wasn't quite as bad as my last episode when I had fever and chills and was sick all night and extremely weak. My DD said on FB that only someone who loves Disney as much as you could keep going back after getting food poisoning multiple times!!!

My pictures came

Graduation on Thursday. His last day of elementary school is tomorrow. Where did the time go.

Sending off the principle today and the kids all presenting him with stuff and having fun was very emotional, wonder how Thursday will go then.

Moo -- hope your feeling better  Hannah knows all to well of throwing up in a garbage bin in the security line. The officer even let us leave the line and come back right up to him when we came back. People probably thought we were butting in.

Sandy-- so sorry for you son. I'm sure you are feeling his pain.

Nabbie - Very nice photo of Nicholas! So glad it arrived :) I tried eating some vegetable beef soup for dinner but it's not sitting as well as the PB toast I ate for lunch. I'm feeling hungry again but not really sure what to eat. I guess those TSA officers must be pretty used to seeing sick tourists!!!

Sandy - I'm also sorry to hear about your son's rough times :grouphug: I'll be doing some trip planning for January also! I didn't do a whole lot in the parks this trips, mostly soaked up the atmosphere, got my Dole Whip fix and had a couple Mickey bars :goodvibes The new ghost ending in Haunted Mansion was pretty neat, but I didn't go through the new cemetery part. Didn't realize it was there until I was up to the stretching room entrance and it was raining that night, so I didn't feel like going again. Loved the new Hollywood Studios Pixar parade and saw Mulch, Sweat, and Tears. At Animal Kingdom, I went through both animal trails, which I hadn't done for a while. I sure wish there was a kiosk at Epcot Canada pavilion where you can get cheese soup all year round!

Sandy, so sorry for your son too. What a horrible thing to go through.

Nab, yay for the pictures. Nicholas looks so grown up.

Moo, eek for being sick on the way home. No fun at all. Disney is very strict about food safety, so i am doubtful it's food poisening.

I finally got my bathroom finished, yay! Now on do some pictures for the wall and knickknacks for the shelves. Hubby got a black and white shower curtain that has english words with german translations that I think DD will love when she comes home, but I did spot some errors on it.

Budgets are hot and heave. Busy, busy, busy. And Im tired!!!!!!!!!

I'll try to post some pics from the trip this weekend.

Hi, Moo, you snuck in on me.

Looks like rain. They have been calling for it but haven't seen any in awhile. The poor grass is looking crispy now.

Heading back to the school again this morning to watch Hannah in a French play. I feel like I have gone back to school I've been there so much.

Best part of today is.....I don't have make any lunches they are having pizza at school today.

Marita -- that is funny about the shower curtian having mistakes. Maybe they think people just by it for the novelty of it and dont' know who to read it.

Moo-- Hope your feeling better today.

Sandy-- isn't your dd graduating 8 grade this year too?

Wow I killed the thread this morning...

It seems like I spend a lot of time at the school today. first the french play for Hannah, then Nicholas forgot the teachers gift cards so I had to take them at lunch and then the clap out of the grade 8's.

I'm glad I didn't miss the clap out but the secretary told me to come back for it and so glad I did. I was almost crying with the rest of the grade 8 girls and parents. It was very emotional. They run though the halls high fiving the other grades and there name is announced before they start from their class room on the third floor. We have 700 kids in this school so it was loud. Then they are suppose to run out the front door and go. Well the first 10 didn't want to go out but they were blocking our view so the principle told them to fly and go outside which they did but just out the front door. No one wanted to leave. I'm going to be a mess tomorrow and it is only grade 8.

Hannah and I got our pedi and manicure for tomorrow. Asked Nicholas if he wanted to come along but he declined. :lmao: We will look beautiful tomorrow too. Hannah is singing in the choir for grad tomorrow too.

Three in a row..... I'm talking to myself again but that's okay everyone must be busy after trips and such.

We had one heck of a thunderstorm last night. Hannah came a running into our bed. It was pretty humid last night too.

Hubby and I went for your yearly check up at the doctors yesterday and on have to do blood work after fasting. Hope I didn't screw it up because they said you could take your meds and I take a muliti vitamin with them and never thought twice about taking it last night too. I don't want to fast another 12 hours.

Well off to get Hannah to school. She has 5 more days to go including today.

morning ..
RAINING AGAIN..
we have had a few nice days ..but it is either raining or thunderbooming....enough to rattle the windows and make poor Megara spazz out..
We close on Tuesday and we can get the water meter replaced as soon as we bring the papers to the city...Also change over the electric into our name and ..what else...have to get the place insured for the second we sign on the dotted line and give them MONEY HONEY....hahaha..

It is chilly today ..so we will wear our jeans...ROFL...the darkness outside makes it dark inside......guess I had better turn on the lights..

Finishing my coffee makes it brighter though....my morning coffee makes me smile...EXCEPT two days ago when the milk was soured and I had to make another coffee and put in the new milk.....when I called hubby at work that day ...he asked me how MY COFFEE WAS.........YUCK......disgusting...

Hope you all have a great day and I will make my lists that need to be made ...I am excited.......

Pumba, when are you moving? Have you sold your house yet, or what are planning to do?

I've been busy as heck with work, turned in first pass of the budget this afternoon at 2:30. Then I went home, cause I came down with a cold of all times. Woke up with a bad sore throat this morning. Luckily that went away, but was replaced with a headache and runny nose, yuck! I actually went to bed at 11 last night, I think only moo can appreciate that, LOL.

Anyway, I mostly vegged on the couch watching the Casey Anthony trial on TV, big news in this town, but all of cable too. anyway, the just finished for today with a big win for the defense, cause the mother said She did the search for chloroform and the suspicious stain in the trunk was there when they bought the car.

Now I think I'll take a nap and see if i can recover some.

I will be glad when The trial is over with too.......the whole family is looped..

We are signing at twelve thirty on Tuesday....and the house will be ours.....we will go in and wash the carpets and paint DIFFERENT colors......then take a few things over every day..
We will then finish up here...clean the carpets and paint the rooms that need it and then put this on the mkt.

wish us luck..
Going grocery shopping now...be back later....

Congrats, Pumba! Sounds like things are moving along quickly with the new place :thumbsup2

Nabbie - Sorry not to post last night . . . I went to work yesterday and was feeling pretty decent, then started feeling yucky again last night with everything I tried to eat and drink going right through me, if you know what I mean :sad1: So I went to the store to pick up some Gatorade, gingerale, and medicine (which did not help at all!) and stayed home from work today to get some more rest and try to stay hydrated. I finally seem to be feeling a little better tonight.

Hope the rest of your end of school year activities go well!!!

Marita - Sorry to hear about your cold. My coworker who I traveled with came down with a cold that turned into bronchitis, so be sure to take care of yourself! I'm very happy that I didn't catch that as well

Well, I managed most of another day of work today. I was so tired of eating bland foods, I cooked up a little Schwann's Philly beefsteak for dinner (not a sandwich, just some meat). Hope it sets well!

I'm SO glad it's the weekend!!!

I thought I posted today, dang!
I called in sick today, still a horribel cough, runny nose and soar throat.
so I called Khaki at work to tell her and let the boss know. at 11 or so, I felt ok enough to check work emails and guess what/ khaki called in sick at 1:40 am yesterday night! This was on a day we were all supposed to be available for questions about budgets we submittted yesterday..So none of us were there.

Anyway, I sent a few emaiils and apparently nobody had questions so its ok. Boss sent a not: guess everyone is recovering from AOP, which kind of upset me, cause I reallu was sick, but I'll straighten that up later.

TGIF!

Oh, I tied to put on some size 10 shorts i bought in 2008 and cant even close them. I really need to go on a diet, I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate my body, never been this way in all life till this year, i might need to start smoking again (and I miss it!)

Hope everyone is feeling better that has been sick.

We have a rain off and on today.

Grad went well. It was super hot in the church even with extra fans. Felt sorry for the kids in their robes, especially the boys in suits under that. Glad we got there at 5:00 or we would not have got a seat. They told us the church opens the doors at 5:30 but I know the church doesn't lock the doors.

They showed baby pictures of the kids and teachers. That was cute. The grads got awards. Nicholas didn't get any even though he thought he had the Christian Living one because he does so much with the church but it had to do with all the virtures they have at school. I got a nice surprise when all the grads gave their mom's a long stem rose in thanks. At the end they did a few dance moves in the aisle and danced out of the church. They had a ball doing that, they were laughing and carrying on.

They gave them a scroll paper but at the end the principal said that is not there diploma , you had to take you robes back to school to get the real one at the start of the dance. Good thing. Then kids just throw theirs down stairs in the hall where they got them in a big pile. The school gym was beautiful when I dropped him off. It was a Hollywood theme. Balloons, Ocsars, Stars, red carpet the works. When I came back 2 1/2 hours later it was a mess. They had a cupcake fight, feathers from boas were everywhere , confetti and broken balloons everywhere. They were using the helium from the balloons to talk funny. Nicholas said a teacher started it.

But it is all over now. Like Sandy said Iam more emotion about then Nicholas. He just wants to get to high school. I just think he won't be in that school next year when I come to volunteer etc.

Now to have Hannah to finish her school year. Three more days.
