Mea culpa. We DID seal this agreement in brownies. BUT I distinctly remember that it was RonStoppable's idea to get the brownies so really I should be mentioning HIM in every post. Like how great he is. Like how much he likes your crazy laugh. Stuff like that. I really should post more.

Nothing new around here. Same old same old, which is why I stopped posting. My life is a bore.

Two of my sisters are pregnant, one due in April, one just barely. Other than that nothing exciting. lol.

We are sitting around waiting for my older sister to get here to show us the
"plan". If you are a part of TEAM, sorry, if not than you probably won't know what I am talking about and for that....BE THANKFUL. It's like a virus that we can't shake. It's in the church, it's in the family. It just plain sucks. But we have to listen so we can stop being hounded about it. In other non-news, I guess I will show up to my childrens hospital volunteer 2 hours tomorrow after all. No sandals allowed, and I'm not wearing heels, so I picked up some $5 ballet slippers at Wally-World tonight.

I get to either do arts and crafts with kids or clean and organize play areas. We'll see how it goes, I'll be sure to report.

okey ...winter is still amongst us......I hate snow and we are in for up to a foot or more....YUCK...

Okey about the back side being expressed.......it is disgusting ....our first dal and alot of other doggies I know did not have this problem.....usually when a doggie goes poopie....it expresses naturally....BUT NATURALLY my dear Megara doesnt....so they do it automatic..hahaha.....cost 18.00 for that little jobbie that takes two seconds of their time......The vet once told me he would show me how to do it and I said I will pay you the twenty bucks......hahaha. Very few doggies smell like a dead fish.....so dont worry.....go and get a doggie.

Cel - The Disney blog on FB has a video about the new Mexican restaurant, La Hacienda, at Epcot. Looks very nice. I love the cluster of Moravian star lamps they have (guess you need to see the video to understand what I mean, but I can't link to it ). Hope you and Marita can have a mini-meet!!!

Love all the chatter wished I did come back on last night. But I was watching Idol and then went to bed.

We are getting more snow as we speak too. It is that fine grandular stuff right now.

Having a hard time getting the kids out of bed this morning. They were hoping for a snow day.

Marita -- you will have fun with the kids. Probably break your heart to see kids in the hospital. I used to volunteer in Jr. High.

Moo-- will have to go check out the blog.

Wendy-- You quit your job.. Hope you find something new and that you like better though.

Moo - Does she just drink it or is she active in selling? Is she just into MonaVie or into TEAM? TEAM infiltrated our church after their home state of Michigan became too saturated with people already into it. So now most of the church is a part of TEAM. The deal is you can be financially free in 2 years. But it would involve "investing" a lot of money into purchasing the product and investing a lot of time, which you can never get back. I would not be able to be actively involved because we don't have/can't afford a babysitter 3-4 nights a week and a Saturday a month, plus 3 yearly conventions a planes trip away. I don't think being "financially free" in 2 years is worth me losing my mind and Chad missing 2 years of the kids lives, especially Ellie since she is in the age where 2 years is the biggest difference. Plus most people don't succeed anyway. lol

We are hopefully going to the beach tomorrow. I am ready, it's been forever. I think Ellie will be okay with it too. I think she is mostly over putting each and every shell in her mouth.

Yes it is concerning. It just sucks to be stuck in the middle of family that is a part of TEAM and family that is very anti. Plus we're in the middle at church too. We've seen people join and friendships divide that is messed up. Plus it's just so wrong to try and sign people up the minute they become members at church.

We have actually been going to the church plant church in our town. We really are enjoying it, but half that church is TEAM too so we're up to our necks in what feels like a brainwashing cult.

Sorry Twink, but yesterday was a rarity for me. I had no babies to birth, no field trips to chaperone, no classes to teach, and no kids sporting events to attend.


Then this morning around 1:00 a.m. I get that fateful call "Can you come into work now? Please,please,please. We are soooo busy and we NEEEEEEEEEED you". Well you know the rest of the story....there's one born every minute. (sucker that is, and babies too I guess)


And I work all weekend and Monday, and well, c'est la vie.

MP - My hairstylist was selling and using MonaVie for a while but she didn't get involved with that TEAM stuff and didn't try to suck me in! Hubby and I got suckered into the Anesthesia thing early on in our marriage. I liked their products but not their tactics. Hoof luck staying out of it! The way I figure it is they can't oversaturate an area with sellers, they need to have a customer base, so hold strong!

Hubby said its like our geneology......way way way back when there was just the two of them......and on and on and on and on...so we are all related someplace in there.

We have about a foot so far and the plows are going crazy.....and Megara is going crazy...she hates it .......hubby said he would do this tomorrow...

Yes, he is signed up, but not "selling". Just buying for now. He plans to getting involved when he retires. WHAT? He's making 100K(with all benefits) now, how much more does he need?

More of a reason we aren't at that church anymore. I got an email from the church tonight that from now on baby showers will only be held for 1st time Moms. What the heck? The church didn't even pay for showers before, the hostess always did, they just used to church building. Is it that hard to buy a couple baby gifts a year for these Moms?

I think we are officially going to be changing our membership to the new church. I do not believe that the Pastors there are involved in TEAM, but I am not positive. It's pretty secretive and unless you are signed up you don't get much info.

It amazes me that Christians would fall for this - and then in turn try to get other Christians to buy it! The only time Jesus got mad in the Bible was at the moneychangers in the temple courtyard!

Twinks - I'm not doing much planning - I have the times for Fantasmic programmed into my calender and I downloaded the Lines app. I have my ADRs and my tickets - I'm set!

Moo - is the new restaurant sit down? Did they change the san angel inn one?

MP, that thing at church sounds aweful! I would hate any kind of pressure for anything.

Nab, I neither had fun nor had my heart broken at the hospital today, LOL. Since I did not express a preference, I got assigned to the "clean toys" squad, so I wiped down toys and rinsed them for 2 hours. I did, however, get to wear a cool (not!) yellow gown and face mask and gloves while doing so. They clean them after each use, ugh!! I dont think I could function in an enviroment where you are supposed to wash your hands 50 times a day and disinfect everything! One of my coworkers got to go around with a music therapist, a couple pushed snack carts around, and others got to get their appendages bandaged by kid doctors or just play with them and the toys. Lesson learned: Sign up for the "work with kids" option.

I'm with you regarding the hand disinfectant . . . I don't think I could be in the medical profession these days. I prefer good old (unscented) soap and water. Or I could deal with alcohol wipes. But I hate those commercial brands of hand disinfectants, they bother my asthma because they're usually scented. I can't believe they allow them in hospitals or doctor's offices where there are frequently policies against using scented products. You would not believe some of the harmful chemicals that are contained in fragrances in commercial products (like dryer sheets - GRRRRR).

Morning all,

I have never heard of this stuff before with the church. I have heard about pyramid schemes before but that was years ago. I would say run too.

Marita-- 2 hours of washing toys and such is a long time. My feet woudl hurt after that.

Moo-- I love my dryer sheets. I hear you on the hand washing. Especially now, my hands are a wreck from eszema. They are all cracked and when you use the hand stuff it burns and hurts.

Not much happening here today but and taking the kids to church to serve at a funeral this afternoon. They funeral home pays for this....Hannah said it is because they have to watch people cry and that is hard work.
